As Elior trailed the three students, his mind raced.
'In my novel, I don't remember putting three people. I can remember only the ceremony'
'I just need to trail them to find out their location'
The three students followed their same route as they did every other night, just that this time; Elior followed after like two minutes in order not to raise suspicion.
As Elior walked down the tunnels, he followed the same route which led to the door.
The three students were in front of the door while Elior hid in the tunnels peeking as he observed them.
One of the students went forward and said the password as usual.
'I guess I have to be closer to find out the password, also the one talking should be the leader among the students'
As the students entered, Elior followed the same route which they came.
By the time Elior reached his room, it was eleven-thirty p.m. Elior did not drop his guard down, he watched them from his balcony and they arrived at four a.m. as usual.
'Guess it's a full night thing huh'
Elior did not even think of going back to sleep, he just refreshed and went for his training as usual. By morning, Elior had big eyes bag showing that he had no sleep at night at all.
That was the kind of week Elior had.
Trailing the three students, Training, Classes and minor activities.
By the end of the week, when Elior looked at his reflection, he could barely recognize himself
'Who is that dude in the mirror'

The stats were enough, just enough to help himself in a three versus one situation.
That night, Elior prepared again. He wore a dark outfit and a mask that he had made to cover his mouth leaving only his hair to feel the wind.
The three students moved swiftly as before, this time instead of Elior following them. He just sat on his window waiting in silence.
The night was starry and Elior looked at it to pass away the time.
'Wow, this world keeps amazing me'
'Father, Mother, Sister, is this what you wanted me to see'
'I miss you guys so much and I am trying your best to carry on your wishes as you said but it is hard, too hard'
As Elior reminisced in his thoughts, he laid down on the roof. The wind blew peaceful, Elior allowed himself to sleep and relax watching the stars even if it was just a little.
At three-thirty a.m., Elior woke up. He had clearly slept for too long; Elior jumped down and starting running towards the tunnel. He just needed to catch one, just one before setting his plan in motion.
The risk was much but the outcome was high. Elior climbed the tunnel and just waited on the top of the tunnel.
As the three students began passing by, Elior remembered the three of them, their sizes to be exact.
The first person who was the leader, he was tall and muscular. Elior could not mask himself like him.
The second person was short and petite. Elior was convinced she was a girl and so that option was ruled out.
The last person though was an exception, he was around Elior height, just a few centimeters taller but it was not like they would suspect ever finding out. His build was also similar to Elior.
'It was his identity Elior had targeted'
As the first two students slipped past, avoiding the security patrols, the last one came through.
The last student he stepped out, Elior jumped down and swiftly, he quickly pulled the figure back into the tunnel,
Throwing the student to the ground, the student chanted "Fratus"
Ice spikes flew towards Elior but Elior moved swiftly using his wind mana to boost his speed. The students chanted spells but it seemed he was limited to only Earth and Ice arcanas the polar opposite of Elior abilities.
It did not matter either way, Elior moved with precision before striking the student in the abdomen.
'You are skilled in arcana a little but not the physical type huh'
As the student winced and knelt down, Elior struck him putting the student to sleep.
Removing his hood, Elior showed no emotion, just a distant darkness glinting in his eyes

Elior checked Kain for injuries, but he found a crest shaped emblem on his hand
Elior gritted at the sight, not out of disgust but one of pity.
