First of all, to everyone who has followed Starborn Heir of Olympus, you are amazing. Thank you.
When I began this story, the idea was simple: a chaotic, hilarious, heartfelt tale about a modern soul choosing to reincarnate as a literal son of Artemis, dragging Revan's power set into the mix simply because he thought it would be funny.The story was always meant to be:
Romantic in a warm, found-family way
Comedic with Auron's accidental god-tier problem-solving
Soft when it came to Lily
Chaotic when it came to Harry
And absolutely unhinged when it came to the Hunts' reactions
Somewhere along the way, this little story grew into something much bigger than I originally expected.
Why I chose to end the story here
Auron, as a character, naturally accelerated far beyond the original plan.He was meant to be powerful, yes, but also funny, heartfelt, and chaotic in a lighthearted way.
The problem became clear the moment I reached the "future Harry Potter storyline" crossroads.
Auron was simply too powerful for the Wizarding World to offer any real challenge.
He is a full-blooded god
He has the Force
He has Revan's knowledge and skill
The Hunt considers him their younger brother, so we would not be alone in the fight, even though he could completely handle everything on his own.
The Olympians openly support his existence and his choices.
He has access to divine authority.
Let's not forget he also can simply teleport into Hogwarts, steal the Invisibility Cloak, walk past every ward, and nobody could stop him, even if they wanted Basilisk? Taken. Blinded. De-teethed. Gift-wrapped for the Hunt.
Voldemort's Horcruxes? He can sense them like ringing bells in the Force.
He also would not let Harry be put in any danger because of his love for him and his mothers.
And so, after some thinking, I realized something important:
Trying to continue the full 7-book Harry Potter arc would only weaken the story.Auron already won. The plot no longer has tension; it's just cleanup.
And because I'd rather end the story strong, clean, and honestly, this felt like the right place.
Like I said at the beginning, this story was never meant to be a war epic. It was about an overpowering OC in a romantic comedy.
Possibility of a short sequel.
Maybe a few short stories on Harry's life in school, not his full school life, or just some funny stories about his life. Think of them as OVA or filler episodes in anime. However, I'm still on the fence about it, so don't hold your breath. This is the natural end of Auron and Lily's story.
