The glass doors slid open the moment we reached them, no security check, no guards but just silence. That alone told me Victor was already controlling everything inside.
Darian slowed as we stepped into the lobby, the building was massive, cold marble floors, dark walls, and a giant Helix symbol glowing faintly behind the reception desk, but no people, no movement.
Just the sound of our footsteps echoing through the empty tower.
"How much time?" Darian asked quietly.
I checked the interface inside my mind, the countdown burned like fire across my vision.
1:31.
"Not enough," I whispered.

We moved fast across the lobby, the elevators were already open, and waiting.
Victor again.
Always planning three steps ahead.
"You said the central server is inside this building," I said.
Adanna nodded.
"Basement level."
