A lot happens throughout the story, but I'll clarify some important points right from the start:
1. It's a harem—there's no way around it. If you don't like this genre, the responsibility is entirely yours if you choose to keep reading.
2. Don't expect much from the system. It doesn't provide anything truly significant to the protagonist throughout the fic. From the beginning, I already wanted to remove it, and at a certain point, I ended up doing so.
3. Some strange mistakes remained uncorrected throughout the story. If you notice any of them, even minor ones, let me know so I can fix them.
4. The protagonist is based on Gilgamesh's Caster version, which, unlike his Archer version, represents the peak of his mental maturity—a king who rules with wisdom and responsibility. This is not the unrestrained arrogance—often quite irritating, to be honest—of his Archer version (Fate/Stay Night).
5. Arc 3 is considerably weaker and may even become tedious. If you want to skip it, feel free, but it's important to note that some relevant events do take place there—not many, but they do exist.
6. All relevant items received from the system have been properly mentioned throughout the story. If something appears that hasn't been previously referenced, let me know so I can correct it. Don't expect powers to appear out of nowhere in a Sukuna-like fashion here.
7. The protagonist and the Caster version of Gilgamesh while he was still alive, that's why he doesn't have the buff of having all the treasures of the world (And the GoB is not infinite)
8. Just to make this clear: this fic is not 100% original—oh my God, what a shocking revelation. Anyway, it's a rewrite of a rewrite of a translation of a Chinese fanfic I worked on about two years ago. The arcs set in other worlds are also built based on adaptations and rewrites of other Chinese fanfics, used merely as a starting point.
Note: Yes, I could create a completely original arc. Unfortunately, I have ADHD and possibly some memory issues, and I tend to hit creative blocks quite easily when I don't have a solid foundation for what I'm writing. Even when I have the entire storyline planned out, this makes it much harder to create something 100% original, since I struggle to stay fully focused on the plot and, without realizing it, end up messing things up due to a lack of attention. Another important point: no, this is not "copy and paste." As I've said, it's adaptation and rewriting.
9. As I often mention, please only leave reviews after reading at least 10 chapters. I can check how many chapters have been read through the reviews, so if it's fewer than 10, regardless of whether it's a positive 5-star review or a negative 1-star review, it will be deleted. I've already had enough of pointless reviews from people who clearly didn't read the story—or who skimmed through most of it just looking for smut or fight scenes, like someone who obviously skipped several parts and ended up with no context, then had the nerve to ask in chapter 5 whether Gwen was still a high school student. The worst part is that in chapter 2, which takes place two years before the official story, Gwen was already 17 years old. 🤡😰
