In strict terms, Jack is also a minor, but he developed well. Page One and Ulti are just of normal human physique, and naturally, there's no comparison to Sasaki, who's in his early twenties.
But Jack is different. Although he's not yet 15, he's rapidly developing in puberty, and his height has reached 6.6 meters, making Sasaki, who is just over 3 meters tall, truly a small figure in front of him.
Arguments are very common within the Hundred Beasts Pirates. Even fighting isn't unusual. This kind of verbal spat doesn't really count for much.
However, Jack admits he is a bit of a double standard. If Sasaki talks about others, he won't care. If he talks about Ulti, he won't mind, but not Page One.
That's the younger brother he values most, the kind you'd bring gifts for even when traveling.
In the original timeline, he could become one of the Three Disasters by the age of 28. Even though he looks simple and does simple things, his strength cannot be denied. Among the young people of the Hundred Beasts Pirates, his talent is only second to Yamato, and his endurance has no match.
In the more competitive environment of the Hundred Beasts Pirates, without strength, you can't reach that position.
Now, though he's years away from 28, he has acquired abilities ahead of time, even stronger than a Mammoth, with the power of a Copperajah, and has trained on Fishman Island for a year. Though there's still a gap from his peak, he's stronger than most pirates.
His future is destined to be stronger, and the change in mindset also leads to an enhancement in strength. His future self will only be stronger than his original timeline self.
Though he's still growing now, Sasaki is as well. The pressure from that big hand was too much for him to bear. When he used to be a pirate captain, he was famous for his strength, but facing Jack from Fishmen roots was different.
"Joining here means following the rules, queue up obediently."
This is the order within the Hundred Beasts Pirates, a special order formed by absolute strength. These pirates might argue, but no one dares to fight or jump the queue. This is the lingering effect of the rules.
Ulti rarely found Jack this freak a bit pleasing. Her way of judging people is simple: anyone who gets close to Page One but doesn't compete with her for him is a good person.
Jack, due to his previous "freak" behavior, was resented by her, but now there's a slight alignment in their stance since an "external enemy" has appeared.
Since a challenge for position is about to occur, Sasaki didn't continue the talk. He snorted coldly and stepped back.
Fierce battles ensued in different venues, such as the intense fight between Setsuna and Mandfeish on the seaside battlefield.
Both fought with all their might, one seeking higher status for his future wife and the other not wanting her husband to lose face.
"Shooting·Ten-Star!"
The Aura Power formed the bowstring and also the arrows, which carried the static generated by her fur. The Power of Thunder between the ten Aura arrows attracted each other, ultimately forming a lightning net flying towards Mandfeish.
Standing on the water, Mandfeish swished his tail in the sea, throwing massive amounts of seawater at the Aura arrows in the sky.
As the arrows were formed by Aura Power, they had a certain homing capability. Although they wouldn't chase to the ends of the earth, they couldn't be shaken off in a short time.
Thunder has a strong restraint over Mandfeish, and he didn't want to taste what those arrows felt like.
He stirred the waves to create his arena. Their battle was multidimensional; both Gyarados and Setsuna, with Electromagnetic Floating, had the ability to fly, but Mandfeish had the underwater advantage.
But this was not free combat; he couldn't hide in the water forever.
Moreover, doing so might get him kited to death by Setsuna. The water here is a shallow beach, not the deep sea, insufficient to offset the force of Setsuna's arrows. To win, he had to find a way to approach the opponent.
Taking advantage of the waves and the cover of Flamethrower, he managed to get close to Setsuna. This distance was already unsuitable for an archer to draw a bow, so he experienced what close combat for an archer was like.
Some skills, although not granted by the Plate, can be self-learned through the increase in strength of some Pokemon Ability Users. At this point, Setsuna executed Bone Rush using a specially crafted bow.
Ground Type against Flying Type is not absolutely ineffective like in the game; it's just hard to hit. Precipice Blades can knock birds down, and Bone Rush can hit targets as well. Even if one can fly, being pressed to the ground can still suffer Earthquake damage.
This is the difference between Ground Type skills and the games. Mandfeish used Haki to withstand Setsuna's attack and got close to her, wrapping his water-laden tail around her.
"Now you can't use electricity..."
The Fur Race can use electricity, but they aren't immune to electric attacks. When wet, the Fur Race also experiences some limitations.
Mandfeish then tried to push Setsuna underwater. If successful, the trump card of the Moon Lion would likely be unusable.
Mandfeish succeeded but only halfway. Although he took Setsuna underwater, she didn't use Moon Lion, but instead entered another state—Mega State.
The Fur Race is somewhat distinct from humans. Due to beast genes in their bodies, they integrate more comprehensively with Pokemon Abilities than human ability users.
During her wedding, Arceus gave her the ability for Mega Evolution. Over time, she successfully mastered this power, becoming the second person within the Hundred Beasts Pirates to grasp Mega Evolution.
The massive Aura Power released the grip of Mandfeish's tail. Setsuna once again floated in the air, with several peculiar braids behind her head, and multiple steel spines on her body. After Mega Evolution, her battle blood had fully awakened.
The static on her body began to flow slightly, quickly drying the fur on her body.
Feeling as if she had lost face, Setsuna held a Moonstone, her fur becoming even more fluffy, successfully using the Fur Race's trump card, Moon Lion.
Watching Setsuna stack the powers of Mega Evolution and Moon Lion, Mandfeish suddenly felt somewhat uneasy. But thinking of Rushaka, he didn't choose to surrender, instead opting to actively launch an attack.
However, facing an opponent with fully stacked states and not yet mastering the ability for Mega Evolution himself, he truly wasn't a match and soon fell in defeat.
Yet his battle was exciting enough to catch even Kaidou's attention.
"Mandfeish is quite something, but it's a shame, his opponent is too strong."
"Just right, the NO.0 position has been vacant. Let Setsuna fill the 0 position, and Mandfeish can take over 1."
