Fujima snorted coldly, revealing what was to come.
"Is... is that so?"
Hashirama awkwardly touched his face, unsure how to explain to Fujima.
"I just wanted everyone to sit down peacefully and have a good talk..."
"Idiot."
"..."
Hashirama lowered his head and sighed.
Ayane scanned back and forth between the two, surprised that the First Hokage, the God of Ninja, had no majesty, while the Second Hokage Fujima seemed to be a representative of pragmatism.
Thinking about it, she had more important things to do. These two didn't seem to want to fight... What is that Orochimaru up to?
So, Ayane leaped up, ready to break through the two's defenses and continue pursuing Orochimaru and the other two.
That snake is too disgusting; I should peel off its skin and process it.
Just as she moved, the bodies of Hashirama and Fujima quickly reacted, leaping up to block Ayane's path.
Fujima wore a displeased look, for this was entirely against his will. There was an automatic enemy response jutsu placed within these bodies.
Whenever the enemy made a move, their bodies would counteract with strategies to obstruct the enemy.
And the jutsu caster wasn't here; he was a treacherous fellow.
The three engaged in a struggle; Hashirama's fist was blocked by her palm, while Fujima's hand was formed into a sharp water blade, aiming at her neck.
Seeing this, Ayane spun her body, swirling a vortex of chakra.
"Revolving Heaven!"
Bang! Bang!
The water blade shattered.
Hashirama and Fujima's bodies were immediately repelled and landed on the ground, carefully watching Ayane.
"So weak."
After a brief astonishment, Ayane gave this assessment.
It was just the most basic Revolving Heaven, yet it could evenly match against the two. This drastically lowered Ayane's expectations.
She had seen Uchiha Madara in action; the Complete Form Susanoo could flatten mountains and split forests, creating cliffs on plains.
Its power was incomprehensible.
As someone on par with Uchiha Madara, or perhaps even stronger, the God of Ninja's attacks being easily blocked by her simple Revolving Heaven seemed nonsensical.
The Second Hokage Fujima was similar; he was, like his brother Hashirama, a renowned ninja from the Warring States Era. In the past, the Second Hokage was always known as the fastest ninja in the Ninja Realm.
Moreover, many of Konoha's jutsu styles were developed by Fujima, the Second Hokage.
The Flying Thunder God Jutsu that the Fourth Hokage Namikaze Minato used to roam the Ninja Realm was originally developed by Fujima, the Second Hokage.
"Our power isn't at its peak... Nevertheless, you effortlessly used Revolving Heaven in that situation. You are different from the Hyuga Clan members I've seen... It seems that Konoha is flourishing now, with outstanding ninjas like you emerging."
Fujima generously praised her.
The Hyuga Clan was a prestigious family in Konoha, personally recruited by his brother Hashirama as a Kekkeigenkai Ninja Clan.
Their Byakugan held great strategic significance on the battlefield.
With Ayane possessing the Byakugan, he naturally regarded her as a member of Konoha Village.
Judging from this, with such an outstanding ninja emerging from the Hyuga Clan, Konoha might indeed be flourishing now.
"Konoha... flourishing?"
Ayane displayed a peculiar smile.
If this statement were ten years ago, it might be correct.
But now, Konoha is becoming old and frail.
Her teacher Hatake Sakumo committed suicide, the Fourth Hokage couple died in battle, Orochimaru, one of the Sannin, defected, Tsunade wandered through the Ninja Realm with an unknown destination, Jiraiya left in sorrow due to the Nine-tailed Jinchuriki matter... leading to the aged Third Hokage once again supporting Konoha, and Root forming a tail that can't be shaken off. None of this looks like flourishing.
"What, is there a problem?"
Fujima grew puzzled.
"A big problem, Lord Second Hokage."
Ayane said, her pure white pupils shimmering with an icy chill, directing straight at the two.
Hashirama's expression changed, and he clasped his hands together.
"Wood Style: Tree Realm Descent!"
Countless trees emerged from the ground, growing wildly as they rapidly wound toward Ayane's body.
Ayane charged forward without defense.
The sound of cracking accompanied her movements, the trees hit by Ayane shattering into pieces, scattering wood splinters around.
In Hashirama's shocked gaze, Ayane's figure landed ghost-like before him, placing her palm on his forehead and gently striking.
Hashirama's upper body shattered, turning into decayed-smelling paper scraps scattered on the ground.
"It feels light, evidently solid yet seemingly insubstantial... this jutsu is truly strange. But now, there's only you left, Lord Second Hokage."
Effortlessly defeating Hashirama wasn't difficult for Ayane.
These two are quite 'weak,' just as Fujima mentioned; their resurrection isn't at full strength.
Reviving the dead surely has limitations.
Otherwise, this jutsu would be way too terrifying.
"What do you mean by 'big problem'?"
