Chapter 533 - Chapter 165: Departure

As Sirius finished speaking, the cloak suddenly unfurled, completely covering Mabel. Next to him, Peter the Second also tugged at his mask to ensure it wouldn't suddenly fall off his face.

Sirius didn't notice their small actions, but Lupin suddenly glanced over in their direction.

The one being pointed at by the Magic Wand was a young, dark-skinned wizard with a panicked look in his eyes. He looked confusedly at the cold-faced Sirius and asked in return, "Vid Gray is...?"

He was about to ask who it was when he suddenly remembered having seen the name in the newspaper, referring to that renowned alchemy genius.

"...The inventor of the Communication Pea? Are you looking for him?"

An older witch beside him quickly explained, "We've never seen the person you're talking about—he's in the United Kingdom, currently supposed to be studying at Hogwarts... isn't he?"

In the crowd, a witch with her hair in a bun showed a slight change of expression, wanting to say something, but held back.

Not long ago, she had made a cloak for Vid and was among the few who knew he was in this castle.

But considering the order to keep it a secret, the witch swallowed her words and hid in the shadow of the wall.

"Nonsense!" Sirius said angrily, "If he were at the school, would we need to look for him? It seems like you don't plan on handing him over..."

"Then we'll go in ourselves and look!" A long-haired witch flew over and responded, pulling out her Magic Wand and decisively saying, "Don't waste time. While Dumbledore is holding back the other members of the Witch Pure Party, we need to rescue the child quickly!"

While they were speaking, members of the Order of Phoenix had already subdued those Muggle soldiers, throwing all their weapons and vehicles into the blaze, leaving only two wizards to stand guard while the rest flew over on brooms.

The two sides faced each other through the window, the situation ready to explode at any moment.

The members of the Order of Phoenix, although fewer in number, were highly skilled and adept with spells. As for the remaining members of the Witch Pure Party, most were injured, some didn't even have their Magic Wands in hand, and others were still in their pajamas.

"Wait! Wait! Let me say something!"

Vorvillet, seeing the other side about to break into a fight, quickly stepped forward, spreading his arms to block the others.

After all, the Witch Pure Party had more people, and there's no certainty they would lose to the Order of Phoenix, but...

Vorvillet glanced apprehensively at the silent little girl next to him and the increasingly bright Firebird.

If these two started to act, very few of the young people behind him would survive.

Most importantly, Vorvillet didn't see Vid as their enemy; they had all gotten along quite well before. Fighting over a lack of information would be utterly foolish.

Vorvillet looked Sirius in the eye with sincerity and said, "Listen to me, Vid Gray is indeed not in the castle, he..."

"Really? Vid has been found!"

Lupin's voice interrupted Vorvillet as he pressed a hand to his ear, a look of surprise and joy on his face. He nodded to Sirius and the others, mouthing the words: 'Dumbledore's message.'

Sirius's eyes also lit up, the corners of his mouth relaxing as his shoulders slightly eased, and he asked with concern, "Found him? Is he okay? Not injured, is he?"

Lupin nodded while smiling and continued his conversation with Dumbledore: "Yes... we were attacked by Muggles here, but there's not much of a problem for now... no, we haven't engaged in a fight... yes, we'll return immediately... besides, we have... er... some matters to report to you when we get back."

He glanced at Mabel and the others, ultimately choosing not to mention that the Obscurus was also there.

Ending the call, Lupin informed everyone, "Dumbledore wants us to return immediately."

"What about the Muggles?" asked the long-haired witch.

"Um... I hope we can leave them behind..." Vorvillet interjected with difficulty, "After all, it was us, the Witch Pure Party, who were attacked..."

He spoke a bit sheepishly, seeing as capturing those soldiers had nothing to do with them. Instead, it was these two groups of people who had saved their lives.

Someone in the Order of Phoenix showed disapproval, but before they could refuse, they heard the voice of a little girl.

"Okay," Mabel gathered her courage and said, "I've heard about what you've been doing recently... I myself am a victim of that organization researching magic."

After a pause, the little girl added more sternly, "But if you try to harm my friends again, then we'll only be enemies."

Though she seemed like a frail girl, remembering how the Muggle truck was thrown into the sky and torn apart just moments ago, no one could ignore the weight of her words.

Or rather, because she was so young, it was even more likely she'd do things that adults couldn't even imagine—whether for good or ill.

The members of the Order of Phoenix also fell silent.

Although they had been hidden nearby, they were fully aware of how strong the attack power of those few strange individuals was. If a conflict broke out, there would surely be casualties among them.

Moreover, although they followed Dumbledore, as wizards—or as humans with a normal sense of morality—they were equally disgusted by the evil acts of that organization.

Their re-gathering under Dumbledore's call was also because of the Ministry of Magic's inaction, worrying that the organization targeting wizards would cause more magical children to suffer, and fearing that the resurgent Witch Pure Party would deceive the world under the guise of justice, disrupting the peace in the Magic World.
