Chapter 223 - Chapter 103: Resurrection Stone and the Terrified Black Demon King (Part 4)

Just.

"It's time to prevent our headmaster from possibly doing something foolish. After all, some things still require the participation of such a great person for us to get the answer to your question just now." Grindelwald stood up and tidied his clothes, his single eye glancing at a misty scene.

The mist is dissipating.

But the things within the mist are still not clear—Grindelwald was not entirely deceiving Dumbledore recently, he was also involved in challenging the highest achievements of the prophets.

"Of course, your involvement is indispensable."

Grindelwald's smile on his face grew brighter, his tone meaningful.

"Professor, where do you want to take me? To Hogwarts Village?" Ian wouldn't start his small class tonight because of the festival, but he still didn't want to waste the time he spent learning new things each night.

Time is skill level, professor!

Of course, if Grindelwald only takes him to Hogwarts Village, he might find an opportunity to bring the "Advanced Dark Arts Unveiled" placed in Snape's Cottage to the school.

"A little further away."

Gilderoy Grindelwald walked to the front of the desk and pulled out a box made of gold from the desk, he threw the box disparagingly to Ian across the desk.

"What is this?"

Ian looked at the seamless cube in his hand, feeling the weight of gold, wanting to verify with his mouth but was embarrassed since Grindelwald was right there.

"A container, containing something Dumbledore won't let me handle." Gilderoy Grindelwald changed his scarf, vainly admiring himself in front of the mirror for a while.

"It will come in handy shortly."

Gilderoy Grindelwald tidied his attire, walked to the cabinet filled with various collectibles, turned his head, and silently extended his hand to Ian.

"Soul Artifact?"

Ian grasped it.

In the next moment.

Ian understood what the South Korean kimchi box was used for—Gilderoy Grindelwald pinched the kimchi box with his other hand, and an invisible force seemed to surge in the air, enveloping them.

Ian and Gilderoy Grindelwald vanished from the office, clearly, the kimchi box was made into a door key, the surrounding scene twisted, stretched by strong magic power until it disappeared completely, whistling winds and a riot of colors surging around Ian and Gilderoy Grindelwald.

Spinning, flying... possibly a bit of jumping as well. As if riding an invisible train heading towards a distant destination.

It felt much better than Apparition. As the power of the door key gradually weakened, Ian's vision cleared again, finding himself brought to the wilderness.

"The Gaunt Clan used to live here, do you know where this is?" Beside him, Gilderoy Grindelwald still maintained Lockhart's appearance. After all, his identity is still that of an imprisoned person, so he certainly can't act with his original appearance, otherwise it would be hard to explain who the "Grindelwald" locked up at Nimongard is.

"Professor, are we here to capture the ghost in the village?" Ian had been tricked once by Dumbledore, so he wouldn't fall for it a second time, he curiously looked around.

On Halloween night the sky is sinking.

The sky seems soaked in thick ink, stars hidden, the moonlight seems to avoid the occasion too, only a few faint beams penetrate the thick clouds.

In the distance.

A dilapidated wooden shack stands in the wilderness, wisps of moonlight falling on the mottled old house, adding to the eerie atmosphere of the place.

Surrounding trees grow twisted and dense, appearing as nature's witness to the curse upon this land. Their branches hang low, like countless ghostly hands, silently stretching in the night, trying to grasp every creature that mistakenly enters this place. The wind whistles through the treetops, producing a wailing sound akin to spirits whispering softly.

"Ghost in the village? You wouldn't be wrong to say so, there is a Soul Artifact here, we need to keep its whereabouts hidden from our headmaster, letting him not get the chance to come into contact with it."

Gilderoy Grindelwald led Ian forward.

His voice carried a taunt, "Of course, I might also retaliate against you, after all, Aurora said you think I am inferior to Dumbledore, perhaps I might just bury you here."

Maybe because there's no one around.

Grindelwald deliberately changed himself back to Gilderoy's original form, making an eerie expression, as if about to inquire if Ian is Dumbledore's favorite.

"Gulp~"

Ian swallowed his saliva.

How could he not be tense?

At Hogwarts, he truly is Dumbledore's favorite!

Ian's hand had already reached his Magic Wand. His small move couldn't escape Grindelwald's notice, yet it made Grindelwald laugh merrily.

"Aurora is right, you really have a lot of guts, kid." With that, Grindelwald walked ahead of Ian, their destination clearly the dilapidated wooden shack in the distance.

"We all know Aurora's reading comprehension skills are terrible!"

Ian hurried to catch up, defending himself.

"Tsk tsk, now you're complaining about my relative in front of me, I might really get a little unhappy and leave you here to walk back to Hogwarts." Grindelwald could be considered the best at changing expressions, raising his eyebrows while teasing, then immediately sounding serious.
