Chapter 241 - Chapter 107: Cheating and Return! Ian's Disappointment

Helena Ravenclaw left behind a meaningful remark and drifted away.

Ian Prince was left staring thoughtfully in the direction she had departed until his stomach made yet another unknown number of protests for the day, prompting him to scratch the back of his head and run towards the direction of the little elves' kitchen.

"The Transformation Technique is a discipline that directly touches the Magic Origin, perhaps it can change not only the things wizards recognize but also yield unexpected results when applied to ghosts."

"After all, the Transformation Technique can alter everything in the world, and ghosts are not necessarily excluded from these things."

"No one has ever been able to cast magic on ghosts before, but because I can step into the Misty Illusion Realm, I am different from others in this regard."

"If possible... this would certainly be a research direction with profound significance." Ian might have a different opinion from Helena Ravenclaw regarding last night's events, but it's unclear what new things this difference might lead him to explore on the path of Transformation Technique.

Of course, Ian loves to study, ponder, and learn, but his urgent priority now is to fill his stomach, as he hasn't eaten anything since last night until this afternoon.

With his little long legs running, Ian's figure disappeared down the corridor—a moment later, the Gryffindor portrait was chased to this area while playing "hide and seek" with the Evil Dog in all sorts of paintings throughout Hogwarts.

"Lend me your sword for a moment!" Though the Gryffindor portrait doesn't have the ability to cast magic, he firmly believes in his own swordsmanship.

He wants to show the abstract Evil Dog painted by Ian the prowess of the Hogwarts Sword Saint. It's merely an Evil Dog, what does it matter if it has rabies implanted in the portrait?

Gryffindor wants to show off his skills.

But as for his request, none of the figures with treasure swords along the way responded, after all, the swords in the portrait are part of them.

Who would lend their little ornaments to others?

Moreover, even aside from this, most of the sword-holding portraits quickly fled when they saw Gryffindor with the Evil Dog, their fleeing speed even surpassing Gryffindor.

"What kind of people are these! Your courage! Justice and loyalty!" Gryffindor loudly complained as he fled, only having time to express his disdain towards the runaway portraits.

Not only did other portraits not help him.

Even he himself did not make a move to save himself.

Gryffindor sought help from the elderly version of himself in the hallway there, but the elderly version only showed a look of watching the show; even when he was desperate, he sought help from the little wizard outside the painting frame.

But.

"Wow! It's Gryffindor! A brand new version I haven't seen before!"

"How could he be chased by a dog?"

"Maybe that's the setting of his portrait? Much like the guy on the eighth floor beaten by a Giant, the painter likely showcases the ancestor of Gryffindor's undying spirit of adventure."

"That's truly philosophical; wow, your reading comprehension is excellent."

...

Gryffindor not only failed to receive help from the little wizards, but their excited discussion caused him psychological harm; one could only shake their head at the notion of philosophical and undying spirit of adventure!

"Rowena, save me! Save me! Save me! I'm going to be bitten! Really going to be bitten!" Gryffindor's portrait fled all the way to Rowena Ravenclaw's portrait.

This portrait with a library background was instantly thrown into chaos, with the Evil Dog and Gryffindor chasing each other behind dozens of bookshelves, collapsing several filled with books—Gryffindor tried to use a bookshelf to press the Evil Dog, and as Ian said, the Evil Dog's eyes indeed seemed to only see Gryffindor.

Regardless of how many books press on the Evil Dog, they cannot stop it from pursuing Gryffindor. Gryffindor's portrait does indeed have the adventurous experience inherited from his own person; a two-legged man running for so long without being bitten by a four-legged dog, his agility is indeed impressive, even more so than Jackie Chan's at a furniture store.

It's just that no matter how skilled an adventurer is, they cannot withstand a chase lasting tens of minutes; the Evil Dog can afford to make countless mistakes, but Gryffindor, fearing the "portrait rabies," cannot afford a single error.

He is truly stubborn.

Even when chased like this, he refuses to return to his safe house to let Ian achieve his goal.

"Save me! Save me! Rowena! You've raised dogs before! You must know how to make this dog stop! I'm being tormented by the little troublemakers from your academy!"

Gryffindor started running around Rowena Ravenclaw's portrait, which always smiled at the frame outside, one person and one dog circling another founder's portrait dozens of times.

Finally, seeing Gryffindor's portrait about to hold onto himself and jump to his head to evade the Evil Dog's chase, Rowena Ravenclaw's portrait couldn't hold back.

"Why are you so rambunctious even as a portrait?"

Her tone was filled with helplessness.

And a bit of nostalgia—that was a precious history named by Ian Prince in past conversations as Rowena Ravenclaw and her good bestie along with two goofy followers.

Rowena Ravenclaw now fully agrees with the little fellow's statement, as one of the goofy followers' portrait really makes Rowena Ravenclaw seem to relive those days.
