Chapter 249 - Chapter 109: The Savior Didn’t Enroll, and Now Is About to Drop Out? (2)

Should be pretty effective?

"Does it work?"

Aurora's expression was quite dubious.

"If the plan works, I think Dumbledore can help you get our professor to drink the Truth Serum." Ian blinked, but it didn't give Aurora much confidence.

"You don't have any useful plans, do you? Your grandfather is hard to deal with, we can't just fill all of Hogwarts' taps with Truth Serum, can we?" Ian led Aurora towards the Slytherin Common Room, swearing he was just casually suggesting she try his idea.

However, he didn't expect the German girl to suddenly light up.

"That's actually a good suggestion!"

She stopped in her tracks, her face full of excitement.

Ian leaned in to listen, and the seemingly harmless girl was muttering and calculating how much Truth Serum would be needed to fill all of Hogwarts' pipes.

"?????"

This was Ian's turn to be dumbfounded.

"You don't actually want to do that, do you? Snape's office doesn't have enough materials." Ian held onto his pocket, fearing Aurora might "commandeer" the items he "acquired" through his Zero Dollar Purchase skills.

"Indeed, it's not enough..."

Aurora calculated and ended up somewhat dejected.

"I think we can change our approach. Even if you don't think Dumbledore will help you, if you take action yourself, you can completely use the Prophets' confidence in themselves."

"Create a scenario that can be predicted, then hide your true intentions beneath this façade. I think that might have some probability of success."

Ian swore he was just trying to save the other little wizards.

Perhaps even Grindelwald didn't foresee that some of the prophecy knowledge he imparted to Ian would be used by Ian to offer Aurora advice against him.

"Mislead my grandfather using prophecy?"

Aurora's interest was piqued by this suggestion, and along the way, Ian began to dramatically offer her strategies, and she occasionally nodded with her own insights.

And so.

Aurora gained a new perspective.

Ian gained new insights into the potential weaknesses of the Prophets.

Everyone was happy.

"Here we are."

When Aurora stopped, Ian, who was engrossed in the "academic exchange," realized he had been accompanied by Aurora all the way to the Ravenclaw Common Room located on the top floor. He was just wondering why they were climbing stairs, assuming Aurora intended to go elsewhere.

"Thanks for your advice."

Aurora gave Ian a hug and then turned to leave, leaving Ian feeling a bit strange, standing there contemplating why he was escorted back to his dorm room by a girl.

Isn't it usually the other way around, with a boy escorting a girl back?

"So your night excursion was for a date."

The bronze eagle's eerie voice made Ian feel as if he heard the horns of hell.

He turned his head.

With a look of horror, he stared at the bronze eagle on the door.

Sure enough.

"Please prove the Goldbach Conjecture." The bronze eagle then asked its riddle; it clearly had no intention of letting Ian back into the dorm to sleep.

Feeling like he had shot himself in the foot, Ian decisively ran towards the Room of Requirement, knowing that facing such a challenge, even hesitating for a second would be an overestimation of his math skills.

Just as Ian dashed into the Room of Requirement, on the other side, Aurora was descending the quiet, empty corridors, stopping in front of the still-lit Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor's office.

Before she could raise a hand.

The door opened automatically.

"Grandfather, you knew I was coming?"

Aurora hesitated for a moment before stepping into the office.

"I think you should seriously consider the advice Little Ian gave you; it has a much higher success rate than your own wild ideas." Inside the room, Gilderoy Grindelwald was writing furiously.

"You're actually spying on us?"

Aurora widened her eyes in astonishment.

"Of course I wouldn't cheat in our little games." Gilderoy Grindelwald chuckled, his Lockhart face making Aurora a bit uneasy.

Yet he seemed fully accustomed to this face, "Dumbledore asked me to monitor that little mouse, which conveniently let me see you discovering the little mouse's secrets."

Saying this.

Gilderoy Grindelwald didn't pause his writing, and with his other hand, he patted a small mirror beside him, which seemed to reflect every move Quirrell made in the castle.

"This castle is truly amazing."

He offered an evaluation of Hogwarts, heartfelt.

"Grandfather, you already know he's planning to act against you?" Aurora settled into a seat across the desk and took the small mirror to study its magic.

Like Ian, she loved learning.

After all, even the best talent needs realization to be deemed excellent.

"Yes, it's all our principal's fault for robbing me of some delightful surprises." Gilderoy Grindelwald sighed, as if he was genuinely disappointed.

"What are you planning to do?"

Aurora asked curiously, looking up.

"That's something for our principal to figure out, I suppose he's trying to use that little mouse to lure his best student back to Hogwarts."
