Chapter 477 - Chapter 148: Mass Murder, Slaughtering Europe_5

It seemed that there were some secrets between Aurora and Albus Dumbledore. She often went to find Albus Dumbledore at night, presumably to study magic with him.

This was not Aurora's own choice, but rather Dumbledore's persistent urging since after Christmas. The headmaster, on the other hand, didn't seem very concerned about Ian's learning progress.

"Dumbledore must think I don't need anyone to supervise my learning." Ian said as he approached Aurora after class, trying to subtly find out what she was learning.

However.

Good friend Aurora avoided talking about it completely.

She simply raised her arm, showing the connection she had established with Albus Dumbledore, bearing a mark with magical aura Ian found extremely familiar.

"An Unbreakable Vow?"

Ian blinked his eyes in shock.

He was quite amazed, "Our headmaster is actually that sinister! Wait until I get another good friend to come over and scold him! How could he establish such a thing with an underage girl!"

Aurora gently shook her head.

"This was my voluntary choice."

She covered her arm.

"Chose what?"

Ian's curiosity was very strong.

Aurora, seeing his face close up, was somewhat helpless, "Of course, I can't say it, Headmaster Dumbledore specifically made a rule about that."

Unable to get the answer he wanted.

Ian pursed his lips.

"It's okay, once I study a bit more, I'm definitely going to find a way to dissolve this spell harmlessly, I'm amazing in the soul domain." Ian's voice brimmed with confidence. He had indeed been researching this form of wizard contract, mainly so that he could make impressive vows in front of others in the future.

"Actually, it's not that interesting, regardless of whatever agreement Dumbledore and I have, I think his ultimate goal must be the one I mentioned to you before."

Aurora knew that if she didn't satisfy the little wizard's curiosity at least a little, her counterpart would keep thinking about it every day, so after pondering for a moment, she chose some things she could say.

After all.

Some might just be bragging about breaking a spell, but if Ian said it, Aurora was really worried he might pull off some outrageous stunt again.

"What goal?"

Ian tried to recall; his recent life had been quite hectic, with little time for sleep, so less important things didn't leave much of an impression.

"Of course, to make you king."

Aurora and Ian walked side by side in the corridor. Many little wizards wanted to greet Ian, but with her beside him, they seemed a bit afraid to approach.

Grindelwald's name was too daunting.

Most of the time.

Only those little wizards from Slytherin dared to approach Aurora. Even though Ian's reputation in the school was quite notorious, everyone knew Ian didn't like killing classmates.

Grindelwald was different. Because Aurora came to the school, many students had brushed up on the stories of this family, and many books wrote about Gellert Grindelwald loving to kill classmates most.

They all worried Aurora might share this inclination.

"It's more like your grandfather has this expectation... Wizard King and all, it's a democratic society now." Ian didn't quite believe Aurora's assessment.

However.

It was evident Aurora had a completely different opinion.

"Although I don't know what happened, from my personal feeling, actually, Albus Dumbledore might hope more than my grandfather does that you ascend to the wizard's throne." Aurora looked at the little wizard beside her, lowered her voice, and spoke softly.

"Yes, exactly, haven't you seen my grandfather lately? He has not stopped smiling. He knows Dumbledore is fully standing on the same side as him."

The German girl's tone carried a bit of emotion, and also a bit of perplexity, "Speaking of which, I too want to know how you changed this century's greatest White Wizard so much, that he would gamble his life's reputation to campaign for you and promote the feudal restoration of the wizarding world."

Facing Aurora's inquiry.

Ian pondered for a moment.

"What did Headmaster Dumbledore tell you? That's something you should be able to tell me?" He didn't know where to start regarding his intricate relations with the Dumbledore family.

"Hmm."

Aurora looked ahead again.

"Dumbledore told me he wanted to attempt some forbidden things, and even with his status and power, he couldn't suppress the common fear and prejudice towards such taboos."

The German girl's words made Ian's eyes slightly narrow.

He thought of the strange experiments Albus Dumbledore was conducting with the Time Converter recently, a mystery where a Dumbledore might pop up from any corner at any time.

"Hiss~"

Like connecting some kind of information, the little wizard gasped sharply. He thought his courage was big enough, didn't expect the seemingly conservative-thinking old headmaster to be even bolder!

"Looks like you've already figured out why Dumbledore has changed so much." Aurora's bright and odd-colored eyes took in all the changes in Ian's expression.

"Perhaps?"

Ian wasn't quite sure if he was being overly sensitive.
