It's as if it was meticulously crafted by the most elite artisans, exuding a strong cyber aesthetic. To one's astonishment, this heart was actually beating slowly, emitting a wondrous melody of mechanical operation.
Each of its beats was accompanied by a slight mechanical sound, causing the surrounding air to tremble subtly. The sound wasn't loud, but it was extraordinarily distinct and special.
"Wow! Is this a moving artwork?" Little Morgan's eyes widened with curiosity as she couldn't help but marvel at the mechanical heart.
"I don't think it's an artwork." Ian was full of surprise, as if suddenly recalling something. He quickly drew out an eyeball he had previously taken from Merlin from the money bag in his pocket.
Sure enough.
Just as the little wizard had expected, the eyeball spun wildly in his palm, as if it had been summoned by something special, with countless lights seemingly flashing on its once calm surface.
Meanwhile, the mechanical heart in the box began to beat more frequently, and the sound became increasingly urgent. An invisible connection seemed to form between the two magical objects, as if they were drawn to each other, trying to coalesce yet lacking the framework in between—other components.
"God of Alchemy... the organ of an artificial divine spirit..."
Ian murmured to himself, a memory of Merlin mentioning the origin of this eyeball surfacing in his mind. His brow furrowed slightly, filled with intense curiosity and doubt.
He remembered that the God of Alchemy was the True Creator, an alias of the Raven, but he couldn't understand the purpose of creating these things.
Of course.
Perhaps he could infer something by studying these two so-called organs. If the little wizard was not mistaken, these two organs should possess some special abilities of their own.
However, what kind of special abilities they had would require careful study and exploration.
It should not be simple, given that the creation was daringly named in a form that would rival true divine spirits after completion.
While Ian was lost in thought staring at the two Alchemy Creations trying to merge yet failing, Little Morgan suddenly turned to Ian, her eyes slightly tense, and said something out of the blue.
"Teacher, are you leaving?" It was an unexpectedly abrupt question, surprising even Ian, who was engrossed in studying the mechanical heart.
However.
In the few seconds Ian was stunned.
Suddenly, the ancient Time Converter in his pocket began to vibrate slightly. Looking down, he saw its surface flickering with faint light.
As if activated by some power. Ian was startled, not expecting the Time Converter to activate at this moment. Had future Professor Flamel found a way to retrieve him?
"This is all a bit sudden."
Ian felt the power of time gradually building.
He could clearly perceive the flow of time surging around him.
However.
What puzzled Ian more was how Little Morgan knew beforehand. Was Little Morgan's sense of time stronger than his own, or did she possess the talent for "prophecy"? It seemed that many powerful wizards he knew had the power of prophecy, even Dumbledore merely chose not to believe in its power.
Since he didn't have this talent... Ian had no time to complain, he pulled out the glowing Time Converter and glanced again at the metal heart still enclosed in the box.
"I think it should belong to you." The little wizard closed the box again, immediately silencing the mechanical sound, then handed it back to Little Morgan.
But Little Morgan did not reach out to take it.
"Will we meet again?" Little Morgan saw the look on Ian's face and immediately confirmed her feeling. Her expression suddenly showed some reluctance.
She even felt the rare sensation of her eyes watering.
"Of course." Ian replied without hesitation. He quickly took out his usual class notes and handed them to Little Morgan. The notebook's cover was worn, filled with Ian's handwriting, recording various magic knowledge and his insights. Naturally, it also contained things taught by Morgan of the Misty Illusion Realm.
"Then this box, when we meet again, you can give it to me." Little Morgan accepted Ian's notebook but still did not take the box that had dropped from The Mirror of Erised.
Evidently.
She wanted to use the box as a pledge with Ian.
Ian looked at Little Morgan, wanting to say more, but suddenly realized that Riddle and Malfoy were not nearby. He immediately glanced towards the door.
He intended to run over or use magic to summon them back.
However, the power of the ancient Time Converter was exerting itself quickly, and the temporal waves surrounding him became overwhelmingly strong, like a surging tide engulfing Ian.
And then.
Ian's figure began to blur.
In Ian's view, everything from this era was rapidly becoming a blur.
Little Morgan stood where she was, clutching the notebook, her gaze lingering on the place where Ian had vanished. A glint of tears appeared in her eyes, but it was soon replaced by determination.
"I will find you, Teacher, no matter how long it takes..." she softly said, with a hint of resolve in her voice. There were still so many unknowns about her teacher she hadn't yet discovered.
