"Let's go inside first!"
Naoki let the other Pokemons keep playing, while he prepared to familiarize himself with the environment along with two Indeeedee.
The three of them crossed the lawn and arrived at the newly built house.
The two Indeeedee looked up at the house in front of them.
They were smart, recognizing immediately that this was where they'd be living from now on.
Compared to the estate villa, this house was much smaller, with two floors and a veranda-like entrance.
Above, the extended eaves just happened to cover the walkway, preventing rain from falling in.
The entire corridor was bright and spacious, with a string of wind chime bells hanging above, that would make a pleasant tinkling sound when the wind blew.
On the other side of the door hung a square box made of wood. Despite the extensive cognition training the two Indeeedee received before, they still couldn't recognize what it was.
"Aii?" the sister Indeedee asked curiously.
Naoki followed her gaze and explained with a smile, "That's Butterfree's nest, I made it with wooden boards and nails, inside are leaves, grass, and petals."
Every evening, Butterfree would fly in and sleep inside.
The two Indeeedee nodded, indicating that they understood.
Seeing this, Naoki pushed open the door and led them into the living room.
"This is our home," he said.
The siblings immediately looked around.
The first thing they saw was a neat and bright living room.
The living room was simply yet warmly furnished, with a soft sofa, a round wooden coffee table, a television opposite the sofa, and a green potted plant nearby.
What was most captivating, however, was the display shelf in the living room.
Naoki introduced proactively, "Those are things Teddiursa sent back, it has the Pickup ability, Pokémon with this trait have a collecting habit, they like bringing various things home to keep."
"Aii?" Teddiursa? It seemed they hadn't seen it.
Naoki: "Teddiursa is traveling outside now, you won't see it for a while."
Upon hearing this, the two Indeeedee looked surprised.
The brother Indeedee, who had silently followed without speaking, uncertainly asked, "Aii?" (Without a Trainer?)
"No," Naoki shook his head, "It's a fortunate Teddiursa, not traveling alone, there's a Mew with it, Mew is a legendary Pokémon, very powerful."
"Aii?!" the sister Indeedee's eyes brightened, could they see them?
Naoki laughed, "Perhaps, when they decide to come back, you will be able to see them."
The brother Indeedee was quite surprised, "Aii...?" (But... aren't you its Trainer?)
It was the first time it had seen a Pokémon leave a Trainer and travel alone.
Naoki: "Trainer? Not really, Teddiursa is special, it can do well even without a Trainer."
Upon hearing this, the siblings exchanged glances.
The sister Indeedee communicated silently with her brother.
"Aii..." (Brother, don't you feel this ranch is strange...)
The brother Indeedee's eyes flickered, but he didn't speak.
Indeed very strange, Naoki was strange, the Pokémon were strange... completely different from the Trainers and Pokémon they knew.
Naoki pretended not to notice their thoughts and began to introduce the remaining places.
"This is where I usually read and rest, Pokémon from the ranch play here as well."
Hearing this, the two Indeeedee looked over.
They saw a brand new fireplace installed on the wall to Naoki's right, with no dust inside, appearing unused.
In front of the fireplace was a rocking chair, with a round rug beneath it, scattered with books and toys.
There were round balls, a fluffy Skwovet plush, and a few red-and-white Pokeballs.
The two Indeeedee recognized the fireplace.
Seeing this scene, they could almost imagine the owner of the house sitting in the rocking chair in the winter, gently swaying in the firelight of the fireplace, leisurely flipping through a book.
Naoki explained, "The carpet in front of the fireplace is where Cyclizar sleeps, it's quite afraid of the cold."
The area in front of the fireplace was indeed very warm, the two Indeeedee thought.
"This is the kitchen, I usually prepare food for the ranch Pokémon here."
The kitchen didn't require much introduction, so he mentioned it briefly before turning and opening the door to the basement:
"This is the cellar, used for wine-making in the ranch."
The sister Indeedee craned her neck to peek into the cellar's environment, and to help them see clearly, Naoki kindly turned on the lights.
After a moment, the two Indeeedee withdrew their gaze, "Aii," indicating they remembered.
Naoki smiled and continued, "The hallway leads to the master bedroom, where I usually sleep, the small room further in the kitchen is the Cream Workshop, I work there with Alcremie on new desserts when I have time, by the way, do you like sweets?"
"Aii~" the sister Indeedee nodded happily.
The brother Indeedee hesitated, then gave a barely noticeable nod.
