The arrival of the wild Dragonite disrupted Naoki's plans.
Led by Dragonite, the wild Dragonite finally met the five stowaway Dratini and Dragonair in the lake at the ranch.
Seeing them, the wild Dragonite began to chastise them with its hands on its hips: "Roar, roar!"
The Dratini and Dragonair huddled together, trembling and responding pitifully.
Dragonite stood to the side, with a mischievous look as if enjoying the spectacle.
"Indeedee?"
The little sister Indeedee watched the scene with curiosity in her eyes.
Naoki explained, "Those three Dratini and two Dragonair are guests here at the ranch. They live on an isolated island in the ocean."
Regarding this matter, Dragonite should have already informed the other Dragonites on Dragon Island, saying they would play for a while at the ranch before going back.
But those five little ones forgot the date while playing, so Dragon Island simply sent a Dragonite over to bring them back.
Seeing that negotiations over there would take a while, Naoki took the opportunity to bring the two Indeedees to the underground cave, where he introduced them to five Naclstack and Diglett.
The cave was cool, with an underground lake connecting to underground rivers. Water droplets slowly dripped from the stalactites above, creating a mystical ticking sound as they hit the water's surface.
The five Naclstack and small Diglett obediently gathered in front of Naoki, curiously looking past him at the two Indeedees.
Naoki said, "These two will be living with us from now on. When I go out for work, they'll take care of you."
The little sister Indeedee waved her small hand kindly: "Indeedee~"
The big brother Indeedee nodded lightly: "Indeedee."
Naclstack and Diglett all turned to look.
Naoki smiled and said, "The one on the left is the brother; the one on the right is the sister. They're siblings, and by the way, the sister's cooking is very delicious, even better than my cooking!"
"Squeak?!"
Hearing this, the food-loving Diglett's eyes lit up.
It thought Naoki's cooking was already the best on earth, not expecting someone to outshine him.
The Naclstack were also very curious about Indeedee's culinary skills.
Seeing how well-received her cooking was, the little sister Indeedee was extremely pleased and couldn't wait to prepare some signature dishes for them to taste.
Naoki, of course, showed his support: "I'll leave today's lunch for them to you, and later I'll tell you their preferred tastes and foods."
"Indeedee~" The little sister Indeedee nodded happily.
After the work was done, Naoki took them back to the surface.
The big brother Indeedee returned home to clean up the room that had been messed up by Cyclizar and Pawmo.
The little sister Indeedee slowly walked around the ranch, making friends with Glaceon, Alcremie, and other Pokémon.
Her nature was already gentle and caring, and coupled with her knack for Pokémon care, she quickly made friends with the group of Pokémon.
When Naoki turned his head, he saw Alcremie already perched on Indeedee's head.
Even Glaceon was influenced, showing a faint smile and quietly staying beside Indeedee.
The wild Dragonite by the lakeside continued to communicate with the Dratini and Dragonair.
Naoki had Koraidon fetch a bag of Translation Nuts Cake, ate it, and then walked forward.
The wild Dragonite standing by the lake kept muttering, while three Dratini and Dragonair shrank below the water's surface, leaving only their heads visible, pitifully gazing at the wild Dragonite.
Meanwhile, Dragonite cheerfully watched the scene in front of it.
"What's the situation now?" Naoki raised an eyebrow and asked.
Seeing him approach, the Dratini and Dragonair, as if seeing a savior, zoomed out of the lake and hid behind him.
"Woo!" (Don't want to go back!)
"Woo..." (Please, let us stay a few more days...)
The wild Dragonite, with a stern expression, said, "Roar!" (No, you've been playing for a long time! It's time to go back!)
The Dratini and Dragonair trembled in fright at its tone.
Seeing this, Naoki couldn't help but say, "Is it really urgent? Just let them stay here a few more days."
After all, there isn't much to do back on Dragon Island, other than basking in the sun at the central lake or catching fish in the sea.
Facing Naoki, the wild Dragonite lost its temper, its tone even sounding a bit aggrieved: "Roar..." (But they've been playing for so long...)
Dragonite widened its eyes.
Naoki: "..."
I suppose that's true.
He thought for a moment, considering Dragonite had come from afar, it wouldn't be right to let it leave directly without showing some hospitality—he certainly should invite it for a meal.
So Naoki said, "Then let's leave in the afternoon. Stay and have a meal with us, shall we?"
A meal?
The wild Dragonite instantly remembered the food Naoki had brought to the island before.
It was immediately attracted, forgetting about taking the Dratini and Dragonair back to the island, and nodded repeatedly: "Roar!"
That works!
Dragonite: "!!!"
"It's settled then," Naoki said cheerfully. "You all play here for a bit, and I'll go out to buy some ingredients. Dragonite, help me take care of our guest."
Dragonite, feeling a bit sulky, but thinking about how the wild Dragonite would take these five pesky little dragons away in the afternoon, decided to endure!
Dragonite agreed.
The Dratini and Dragonair then breathed a sigh of relief.
