Hearing this, Naoki let Koraidon dig a pit in the ground with his claws, then placed a carrot seed into it.
Once he was done, Calyrex floated forward and employed his power to accelerate the seed's maturation.
Accompanied by a flash of deep blue light, the seed buried in the soil swiftly underwent changes.
Once everything calmed down, there appeared a completely snow-white White Carrot on that piece of land.
Naoki walked up to inspect it, "It's the White Carrot favored by Glastrier, although it seems somewhat different from the ones grown earlier."
Perhaps because the Ice Type Energy here isn't as abundant as on the tundra, this White Carrot isn't as pure.
"Is it due to the energy?" Calyrex mused alongside him.
Naoki shook his head: "It's not entirely certain yet, but there is another validation method."
Saying this, he cast his gaze toward Calyrex and the Spectrier who had silently trotted over after finishing the Shaderoot Carrot.
Under Calyrex's questioning gaze, Naoki asked, "I recall you can control the aura on Spectrier and Glastrier using Psychic Power, correct?"
Calyrex nodded: "Indeed, my abilities gradually merged with them over the years spent with my companion horses."
"When I ride Glastrier, I can use Psychic Power to concentrate its generated cold aura. The enormous ice lance you saw earlier was created by me; I call it 'Glacial Lance.'"
"And when I ride Spectrier, my Psychic Power can blend into its body, enhancing its strength. In an instant, I can create countless wisps of ghostly flames, directing them to fall like meteors from the sky; I call this move 'Astral Barrage.'
Naoki nodded thoughtfully.
Glacial Lance and Astral Barrage are exclusive Moves corresponding to Calyrex when riding Glastrier and Spectrier.
The Psychic Power mentioned by Calyrex presumably refers to his innate Psychic abilities.
"Next, I'd like to ask you to do me a favor," Naoki said. "Ride Spectrier and use Psychic Power to condense the Ghost Type Energy from it and gather it onto this field."
Calyrex immediately understood his intent and nodded slightly: "I'll take care of that!"
With that, Calyrex's form flickered, using Teleport to get onto Spectrier's back.
One king and one horse merged again, transforming into the Calyrex riding a black horse stance.
The next moment, Naoki saw a mist of ghostly purple wafting from Spectrier's body, drifting onto this piece of land and merging seamlessly with it.
"It's done," Calyrex said.
Naoki nodded, pulled out the White Carrot, and planted the second carrot seed.
Calyrex swung his left hand and activated his power to ensure a bountiful crop once more.
The miraculous blue light flashed past.
In the next second, Naoki saw a familiar Shaderoot Carrot at the spot.
Succeeded? Just as I thought... Naoki pondered.
"This also means Ice Type Energy and Ghost Type Energy are the key for the White Carrots and Shaderoot Carrots to grow," Naoki murmured.
With this knowledge, he could confidently create experimental fields on the ranch.
Utilizing the Ice Type Energy and Ghost Type Energy from Glastrier and Spectrier, he could cultivate special fields dedicated to growing Shaderoot Carrots and White Carrots for both horses.
Allowing both horses to enjoy their favorite vegetables in the Paldea Region.

Naoki immediately shared his discovery with Calyrex.
Upon hearing this, Calyrex's face also showed a smile: "In this case, I don't need to worry about our beloved horses not finding their favored vegetables on the other side."
