As soon as the Poffin entered, the crispy and soft texture filled the entire mouth, with the rich Berry aroma perfectly blending with the sweet crust, tasting sweet without being greasy.
This is the taste!
The eyes of the dozen or so newly employed Dragonite employees lit up instantly.
They simply sat down on the grass, basking in the sunset, happily enjoying these Poffins with blissful expressions.
Seeing the actions of these Dragonites, the other veteran Dragonite employees looked on in surprise, standing aside to watch.
Soon, some working Dragonite felt quite speechless.
They ignored these guys, held their Poffin Boxes, flew into the Reversed World, and prepared to return to Dragonite Island to rest.
Dragonite looked rather disdainfully at these newly hired working Dragonite.
Naoki stood aside observing for a while and then said, "By the way, Dragonite, you should try some too and see if there's any change in flavor."
Hearing this, Dragonite picked up a Poffin and took a bite, slightly widened its eyes, then showed a puzzled expression, "Awoo?"
Weren't today's Pokemon made by Naoki and his sister Indeedee?
Naoki noticed Dragonite's confusion and explained, "I bought them from a store that specializes in Poffins. Are you still used to the taste?"
Dragonite tasted it carefully. Although it preferred Naoki's homemade Poffins, these were also delicious.
"Awoo!" Dragonite nodded its large head.
Seeing this, Naoki breathed a sigh of relief; he was worried Dragonite wouldn't get used to them.
Now it seems they're able to accept it, which makes things much easier for him and his sister Indeedee.
However, continually ordering from the store isn't a long-term solution...
If only there were Pokemon skilled in making Poffins.
If there were, Naoki could move the specialized Poffin cooking equipment to the World Tree and have them help with baking.
This way, the Pokemon at the World Tree could also make their own Poffins.
Thinking of this, images of several Pokemon flashed across Naoki's mind.
He once asked the Heroic Expedition Team to help with invitations, but so far, Mew and Teddiursa haven't encountered those Pokemon yet.
Naoki did consider capturing a few more Indeedee for the ranch, but wild Indeedee are hard to come by.
The two he has were purely due to luck, having met an old gentleman who was helping Indeedee find future owners.
"Forget it, such matters can't be rushed."
After a brief contemplation, Naoki decided to put this matter on hold for now.
Because there's another very important task awaiting him next.
League Year 200, May 3rd.
Calyrex's energy had recovered, and today was again a day to accelerate the growth of the World Tree.
Early in the morning, Naoki took the Pokemon from the ranch to the Reversed World, to the Sky Island where the World Tree was located.
Looking up at the giant tree before him, both Naoki and Calyrex felt incredibly excited inside.
This was their second-to-last time nurturing the World Tree.
Just one more time next month, and this World Tree would be fully mature!
Having experienced this so many times, Calyrex was thoroughly familiar with how to nurture the World Tree.
Without speaking, it gently raised its hand.
A thick glow poured into the World Tree like a tide.
In the next second, an unprecedented green tide erupted from the World Tree, transforming into rings of green energy ripples, undulating outward.
The Pokemon inside the World Tree seemed to sense something, raising their heads to look at the sky.
Mewtwo's form flickered and then appeared atop the World Tree.
In the misty green glow, Mewtwo lowered its head, its gaze falling on Naoki and his group of Pokemon.
"Buzz!"
Alongside a strange buzzing sound, the entire Reversed World underwent cataclysmic changes.
Green ripples enveloped all the surrounding Sky Islands.
Where the light passed, the once desolate and lifeless Sky Islands immediately grew lush greenery.
In that instant, the entire Reversed World gained a trace of vitality.
Surfing the internet, Giratina sensed this anomaly and was instantly startled awake.
It lifted its massive dragon head and flapped its wings, flying over to land beside Naoki and the many Pokemon.
Giratina's eyes widened, showing an incredulous expression.
Because it could clearly feel the changes happening in its Reversed World.
Compared to Giratina, Naoki remained much more composed.
This was a sign of the World Tree nearing maturity, its power beginning to affect this world.
And the first to be impacted was Giratina's Reversed World.
Looking towards the distant vibrant Sky Islands, Naoki felt incredibly curious.
What will the future Reversed World turn into?
It's really something to look forward to!
In the unnoticed places, the green energy transmitted through the entrance connecting the Reversed World and the real world, rippling outward like waves on water, spreading in all directions.
In no time, it enveloped the entire planet, detected by some ancient beings.
