The Masked Hero gear that Judai has put together is indeed quite handsome, and the scarf is quite stylish. The only problem is that the roof where he made his entrance might be a bit slippery. With a slight misstep, he slid down and made a grand, face-plant introduction.
"Big Brother!"
Marufuji Shou hurriedly rushed forward to help him.
Judai's helmet flew off with the fall, and though he was covered in dirt, the silly grin on his face suggested he was fine.
"Judai, are you alright?" Asuka also approached to lend a hand, looking somewhat concerned.
"I'm fine, I'm fine."
Our classmate Judai's physical condition is beyond the average person. Future Judai will be able to run up walls and jump between rooftops like President Haima, who casually plays freefall from airplane cabins. This level of mishap is nothing.
Judai sat up, glanced at Asuka's arm supporting him, and suddenly paused: "Whoa, Asuka, yours is so big..."
The girl's face immediately turned to stone, and steam began to rise from her head within half a second: "What... what are you saying all of a sudden..."
But she soon realized she misunderstood. Judai was enthusiastically squeezing her wings: "Oh, it really feels like the real thing, so amazing! I want a pair of wings too!"
Marufuji Shou squinted: "But big brother, isn't there no Masked Hero with wings? Plus, Harpie Lady is female, it should be more suitable for girls to cosplay."
"What's the problem with that?"
Judai didn't mind at all and seemed to think wearing women's clothing wasn't unacceptable.
Asuka sighed and rubbed her forehead, inexplicably feeling a little bit of disappointment...
"Hmm? Is that... Manjome?"
With sharp eyes, Judai spotted another friend... well, at least he thought it was a friend.
However, Manjome wasn't dressed in cosplay, but rather in his regular uniform.
That's nothing out of the ordinary. After all, not everyone has the mood and energy to put together a cosplay outfit, and many students attend events in their usual attire.
"Manjome~" Judai enthusiastically approached and patted his shoulder, acting like a long-lost brother, "Hey, you stubborn guy, you said you weren't interested in the school festival, but you still came..."
Manjome was like facing a formidable enemy, immediately shook off his hand: "Don't touch me."
He paused and didn't forget to add: "And it's Manjome Thunder!"
"You're so stingy, we're friends anyway, what's the problem with a little touch..."
"I don't remember when I became friends with you."
At this point, Judai's eyes lit up, noticing a little guy floating next to Manjome's head like a ghost.
"Huh? Manjome, is this your new spirit? It looks really fun..."
It was... a uniquely ugly spirit. A yellow body, big red shorts, two eyes on its antennae, lips thick and red like a big sausage.
This is the signature spirit from the original work that is almost the soul monster of the character, "Ojama Yellow."
An ordinary monster with 0 attack and 1000 defense points, and it doesn't even have special effects. It even looks a bit ugly, and no matter how you look at it, this card is trash among trash.
Upon hearing Judai's comment, Manjome's face drastically changed. He hurriedly reached to grab the floating Ojama Yellow: "Don't say that! I don't have such an ugly spirit!"
He was quick to act, but didn't expect Ojama Yellow to move swiftly, dodging Manjome's grasp, with tears welling in its big eyes: "Big brother, are you abandoning me?"
"Shut up and get back here!"
Manjome swiftly attempted to grab it twice more, but Ojama Yellow agilely dodged each time.
"Big brother, you're so cruel. You weren't saying this last night..."
Manjome attempted another aerial grab and finally caught Ojama Yellow, pressing it back into the card deck.
Judai chuckled lightly: "Your relationship seems pretty good. How did you meet?"
"Who knows," Manjome grumbled, "I happened to find it by the roadside. Clearly, this kind of trash is not suitable for my card deck. Tomorrow, I'm planning to sell it at the convenience store."
What? Keep it for myself?
Manjome stated, even if Thunder had no cards left, retired from the Duel World, he would never use such trash!
Ojama Yellow popped out again: "Big brother, you're really mean. This is clearly a fated encounter, divine intervention... ah ah ah!!!"
Before it could finish speaking, Manjome pressed it back again.
Manjome looked exasperated.
Darn it, if it weren't for the fact that this "Ojama Yellow" card contained a rare spirit, he would have thrown this ugly and useless ordinary monster away long ago...
Since it's a cosplay-themed event, naturally it wouldn't be complete without the grand entrance of Duel Academy's famous top cosplayer—Aunt Dome.
Aunt Dome once again brought out her treasured Dark Magician Girl cosplay outfit, magnificently appearing as the finale character.
Even though the students had seen it before and were somewhat prepared mentally, the firepower of the opposing tank was overwhelming, causing many of the young students to lose their composure and be unable to cope.
Even the famously robust Jegor fell silent for a long time upon seeing such a scene, only later remarking that the last time something this big fell, dinosaurs went extinct...
But soon someone brightened up and found a savior.
"Hey, gimme a break! Dark Magician Girl!"
His companion turned back lazily: "Don't try to fool me, that's just Aunt Dome... wait what?!"
Countless sets of eyes, like magnets attracted to a magnetic field, were instantly drawn to her.
The girl had long, smooth, golden hair, emerald green eyes, and wore an adorably cute magician hat.
Men often say they love a slightly plump physique, but what everyone generally means is being plump in the right places — you know what that means.
And this girl was the most typical of "plump in the right places," basically possessing the perfect body you could dream of. Not only was she ample in the right areas, but her waist was sufficiently curvy, and she had a pair of slightly meaty, snow-white legs.
All the drivers were looking daggers.
This cosplay, this quality... it felt as if she was cut straight from the official artwork they usually drool over!
It's almost like the real Dark Magician Girl!
Immediately, the gentlemen put aside Aunt Dome's version of the Dark Magician Grandma and all declared they were ready!
Additionally, she was holding a small silver-haired girl in hand.
Card players might not recognize all the various dragons, nor all the mecha, but when it comes to these lovely, charming spirit girls, few fail to identify them.
Though they all babbled stuff about 'not forming attachments,' pretending it's true, the sales of female character cards and the inflated prices reveal the gentlemen's true interests...
So, someone immediately recognized her—
—This silver-haired girl is definitely cosplaying as a Silent Magician!
And it's the loli-form kind!
This adorable height, this board-flat figure, and that cold and distant aura... it's exactly like the Silent Magician from legend!
The Dark Magician Girl enthusiastically waved to everyone, while tugging on the arm of the Silent Magician, seemingly signaling her to greet as well.
But the silver-haired girl turned her head aside, pouted, and said nothing.
She seemed a bit unhappy about being dragged out for a spin.
Without a doubt, these two are of course Youyu's spirits.
Youyu's two magician spirits are quite interesting. Though both are magical girls, their character traits are completely opposite.
The Dark Magician Girl is outgoing and has to go out daily, especially loving bustling occasions like school festivals.
While the Silent Magician is a certified homebody. Her greatest interest is staying at home and not going out, her most disliked activity is being approached by others...
Speaking of which, it seems the original school festival activities had appearances of Dark Magician spirits? At one point, there even seemed to be a card battle with Judai.
But at least up till now, Youyu appears only to have seen his silly spirit, not other wild Dark Magician Girls around.
Which inspired him with a daring idea.
The Dark Magician Girl he found... could she possibly be the one from GX?
