Chapter 386 - Chapter 234: Sarutobi Hiruzen's Shock, Mokgetsu's Mastery of Five Elements Ninjutsu

Due to pre-learning several months of basic breathing techniques, Nohara Rin's Breath of Water progressed rapidly, almost able to use it in combat after just five days. Mokgetsu took a glance with his appraisal and saw she had reached the beginner level of twenty points.

However, the progress wasn't always this fast, as it gradually slowed down after breaking through the twenty points.

To enhance Nohara Rin's individual combat ability and not waste the Breath of Water's boost to Water Release, Mokgetsu began teaching her Water Release Ninjutsu. He planned to teach Rin two Water Release Ninjutsu in this month: one being the Water Prison Jutsu which can be both defensive and offensive, and the other, the Water Dragon Bomb Jutsu, purely for attacking.

Actually, if it were for the Chunin Examination, teaching Rin the Hidden Mist Jutsu and then doing a sound-based positioning special training would be the best, because without knowing the enemy's location, the Shadow Possession Jutsu would be meaningless.

However, this Hidden Mist Jutsu is different from common Water Release Ninjutsu like the Water Array Wall or Water Dragon Bomb. The Hidden Mist Jutsu is a secret technique from The Hidden Mist Village, which would be hard to explain if used.

After careful consideration, Mokgetsu chose the Water Prison Jutsu and the Water Dragon Bomb Jutsu, both of which are quite practical and not difficult to learn.

The Chunin Examination reached its intermission, and the candidates were all striving to improve themselves, whether they were from Konoha or The Hidden Mist Village.

The Chunin Examination was put on hold, and the first semester of the Ninja Academy was reaching its end, soon to enter final exams before the long vacation.

Of course, for the fourth-year students who are about to graduate, this long vacation is a bit short, as they will undergo five weeks of special training during the break.

Mokgetsu's original special training plan was to replicate the first special training by quickly brushing up on various skills to expand the ninjutsu library with large classes. If every day was a large class, they could brush up four ninjutsu in a day, and a hundred in five weeks.

The incident in the Forest of Death made Mokgetsu decide to change the plan. He intended to add some relatively advanced teaching content to the original plan to try for better rewards.

Although it's still early for Obito's incident according to the original narrative, the Shinobi Bridge battle in the original Naruto World happened after Kakashi became a Jonin at twelve. Currently, Kakashi is only nine, so theoretically, there's still three years.

But after all, this is no longer the original Naruto World; it's the Naruto World with Mokgetsu. Though Mokgetsu has always kept a low profile, he has actually changed a lot.

At this stage, Obito is vastly different than in the original narrative. He awakened the Sharingan early and even learned some quite decent Fire Release and breathing techniques from Mokgetsu, defeating a Jonin with his teammates twice.

Faced with such an Obito, Mokgetsu couldn't guarantee whether Uchiha Madara would still act exactly as he did in the original narrative.

Now, although Obito is young, his strength isn't weak, and with teammates being much stronger than in the original narrative, this means they will execute higher difficulty tasks earlier, and Uchiha Madara might make his move earlier too.

Uchiha Madara and Black Zetsu lurk in places unknown to Mokgetsu. Although he's hiding many things himself, to increase his chances of winning, he needs to enhance his own power as much as possible.

Although Uchiha Madara is old now, he was once able to battle Senju Hashirama. Moreover, he has Black Zetsu, a formidable ally who has lived for a thousand years. Mokgetsu's vigilance against this pair is at its highest.

However, the summer special training involves over three hundred graduates, and Mokgetsu, as the responsible person, can't teach irresponsibly. He needs to discuss it first with the principal, Sarutobi Hiruzen.

In the evening, after dinner, Mokgetsu went to Sarutobi Hiruzen's house.

Usually, it's not good to seek Sarutobi Hiruzen for official business after his work hours, as it would mean giving him extra work.

But Mokgetsu and Sarutobi Hiruzen have a good relationship now, and to facilitate the upcoming demonstration, Mokgetsu chose the evening.

"Third Hokage, I would like to change the content of the summer special training." After a brief greeting, Mokgetsu asked directly.

Sarutobi Hiruzen put down the pipe in his hand and looked at Mokgetsu, asking, "Have you come up with a new good idea?"

Sarutobi Hiruzen didn't even have to think to know it was a big change, as small issues could be decided by Mokgetsu himself as the special training plan leader.

"I want to add Chakra nature transformation to the curriculum," Mokgetsu said.

Chakra nature transformation isn't considered too advanced knowledge. If it's a family ninja or their parents are ninjas, they usually start learning it before entering school.

But for most Ninja School students, it's considered advanced knowledge because it's not taught at school; it's usually taught by instructors after graduation.

It's not that the Ninja School doesn't want to teach it, but there are two difficulties. One is the students' diverse attributes; if there's a rare attribute like Wind, not every teacher can teach it, so it's not like they can skip teaching that student, right?

The second is the Ninja School teachers' skill level isn't sufficient; Chakra nature transformation is also a dangerous cultivation, so even the senior levels of Ninja School don't have nature transformation cultivation courses.

The main point is still the second one. Most Chunin teachers at the school are acceptable in teaching other things, but their own nature transformation practice might not be well-developed, teaching it would mislead the students.

"Chakra nature transformation, why do you want to teach this? With so many students, there must be all five Chakra attributes, and accidents could easily happen during training," Sarutobi Hiruzen said, without directly rejecting Mokgetsu, instead pointing out the challenges in teaching this and then looking at Mokgetsu.

In Sarutobi Hiruzen's mind, Mokgetsu always had a humble and pragmatic image. Since Mokgetsu dared to propose this to him, Sarutobi Hiruzen thought Mokgetsu must be well-prepared.
