Namikaze Minato sensed slightly and found Kushina in the bedroom, so he walked over to Kushina's bedroom and knocked on the door.
Inside, Kushina, who was reading Fuinjutsu materials, was startled by the knock, recalling what she said when shopping with Mokgetsu earlier. She quickly got up and opened the door.
Seeing that it was indeed Minato, Kushina opened her arms and hugged him, "That darn Third Hokage, making you do missions outside for so long. Is he trying to work you to death?"
Namikaze Minato smiled helplessly, "This has nothing to do with the Third Hokage. To prevent the war from reaching the Land of Fire is the duty of every Konoha ninja."
Kushina pouted. She wasn't really angry, just making a complaint. After all, she wasn't someone who would make unreasonable trouble.
Woosh, woosh.
Kushina pressed her head against Namikaze Minato's body, sniffing his upper body repeatedly.
Once sure that there was no other woman's scent on Namikaze Minato, Kushina released him and pulled him into the bedroom.
It wasn't that Kushina didn't trust Namikaze Minato, but his charming face easily attracted attention. She worried that honest Minato might be deceived by bad women.
"Kushina, how's your Rasengan training going?" Minato asked.
The Rasengan was quite compatible with the Flying Thunder God Jutsu, but Minato didn't develop it for himself. He initially wanted Kushina to utilize her enormous Chakra.
The Rasengan, appearing as an unremarkable little Chakra ball, actually consumed a lot of Chakra to use, requiring a massive compression and rotation of it.
"I can do it already."
Kushina extended her right hand boastfully, releasing her Chakra.
Soon, a Chakra ball one and a half times the size of a basketball appeared in Kushina's hand.
Namikaze Minato's eyes lit up. As the creator of the Rasengan, he could tell at a glance that Kushina not only learned it but had become quite adept at it.
"It's thanks to Mokgetsu. His ability to teach Ninjutsu is slightly better than my teaching Fuinjutsu." Kushina ceased her Chakra output, retracting her hand.
To repay the favor of the Fuinjutsu lessons, Mokgetsu would teach Kushina Rasengan whenever he had time.
"I must properly thank Mokgetsu later, it's great having him as a neighbor." Namikaze Minato said with a smile.
He felt that his luckiest moment in recent years was purchasing the house next to Mokgetsu's and then becoming friends with him.
Even with Mokgetsu's talent and capability, they would have met eventually, but forming such a good friendship wasn't certain.
Being neighbors allowed them to quickly become friends who frequently shared meals.
This extended further into teaching Fuinjutsu, their relationship improving with each interaction, until it deepened into a bond of absolute trust.
"Yes, buying that house was really worth it." Kushina agreed.
Not even mentioning anything else, the meals alone, exquisite and unmatched, made Kushina feel she got her money's worth.
"Ah, when will I be free to move? I want to eat freshly cooked food!" Kushina clenched her fists tightly, her head circling against Minato's chest.
Although the food delivered to her was timely enough not to get cold, Kushina still preferred the taste of freshly cooked dishes.
Namikaze Minato inhaled sharply, realizing the downside of having a strong girlfriend — even a simple act of pouting could be physically demanding.
He kept Kushina company until dusk before leaving, heading over to Mokgetsu's door.
Mokgetsu had just returned home shortly before and was busy in the kitchen handling ingredients.
With Mokgetsu's approval, Namikaze Minato walked into the kitchen adeptly, "Need any help?"
"Wash and peel the potatoes, and then..."
Mokgetsu didn't hold back and handed Namikaze Minato some relatively simple tasks.
Once the meals were ready, Mokgetsu and Namikaze Minato carried the dishes to the table and prepared to eat.
"Mokgetsu, thank you for looking after Kushina, for both taking care of her daily life and teaching her Rasengan." Minato said with a sincere smile.
When eating Mokgetsu's cooking, Minato usually remained silent, except for when he was alone with Mokgetsu at the table.
"It's just a trivial thing, don't think too much of it." Mokgetsu shook his head in response.
Namikaze Minato and Kushina were indeed of great help to Mokgetsu.
If it weren't for Minato and Kushina's assistance, he wouldn't have found a channel to study Fuinjutsu quickly.
His initial entry into the Flying Thunder God Jutsu had a lot to do with Minato's help.
Additionally, Minato and Kushina's connections provided substantial support to Mokgetsu.
Without Minato as an intermediary to meet Jiraiya, finding Tsunade for help wouldn't have been an easy task.
"Are you encountering any issues with your Observation practice?" After dinner, Mokgetsu asked.
"During off-sight attacks..." Namikaze Minato naturally started discussing the issues he encountered.
Only after finishing did Minato realize he was initially intending not to take up Mokgetsu's personal time, planning to take special training classes and solve the problems himself.
Yet, having talked numerous times about their training knowledge, Minato answered Mokgetsu's question instinctively.
By the time he realized, Mokgetsu was already explaining.
Mokgetsu's explanations were so good that Namikaze Minato couldn't bear to interrupt and was quickly engrossed.
After excitedly sharing his newly gained insights from Mokgetsu's explanations, Minato recalled his original intention, feeling somewhat embarrassed.
"If you're worried about me feeling disadvantaged, just teach me some Flying Thunder God." Mokgetsu, noticing Minato's thoughts, suggested.
"Are you having trouble with Flying Thunder God, Mokgetsu?" Minato immediately asked.
In other areas, Namikaze Minato wasn't as confident compared to Mokgetsu, but the Flying Thunder God Jutsu was his forte.
Mokgetsu nodded slightly. Initially, he didn't have the talent to learn Flying Thunder God, and only through drawing the Flying Thunder Array Jutsu from a system did he overcome this hurdle.
Without the corresponding talent, trying to advance the skill to a higher mastery level proved extremely difficult.
Once a skill reaches a master level, progressing further becomes exceedingly challenging.
This time, the roles reversed, with Namikaze Minato becoming the teacher and Mokgetsu the student asking questions.
After finishing the teaching, Minato felt much more at ease.
Such mutual benefit made him feel more comfortable, for continuously accepting Mokgetsu's kindness left him feeling uneasy.
Following this, Namikaze Minato did not disturb Mokgetsu further, returning home to read.
Namikaze Minato was a book lover, spending his free time reading most of the time.
Moreover, he read a variety of genres, from dry ninja knowledge books to ninja novels with thrilling plots.
The next morning.
Namikaze Minato inquired about Obito and the others' current conditions, then headed to the Southern Border Forest with Mokgetsu.
As Obito, Kakashi, and Nohara Rin's team leader, Minato felt responsible for leading them himself once back in Konoha, despite not being able to tap on Mokgetsu's aid during battlefield times.
Otherwise, he'd be failing too much as their teacher.
Having spent a bit of time exchanging with Namikaze Minato, Mokgetsu arrived at the Southern Border Forest to find all disciples already present.
"Teacher Mokgetsu. Eh, Teacher Minato, why are you here?" Obito instinctively greeted Mokgetsu first then noticed Namikaze Minato next to him.
Initially unable to discern faces at a distance, Obito almost mistook him for Mokgetsu's advance Shadow Clone.
Namikaze Minato awkwardly scratched the back of his head.
"Isn't there a possibility that Teacher Minato is actually our guidance teacher?" Kakashi suggested calmly.
Kakashi had to admit that this time Obito didn't have much of a problem since they usually followed Mokgetsu more.
Even he took a moment when he saw Minato approaching and paused momentarily.
