Chapter 365 - Chapter 184: I’ll Ask for 2 More Pillars!

Natsuhiko took out the "Will Treasure Pearl," observing its flickering red light gradually synchronize with the frequency of the flashes on the three stone pillars in front of him.

Even the Stone of Light in the central recessed area erupted with an even more dazzling white light.

He thought the Azelf's "Will Treasure Pearl" had already fulfilled its intended purpose, as Azelf had mentioned, to accomplish the task given to him.

Unexpectedly,

after returning from the Alternate Dimension, the "Will Treasure Pearl" lit up once again.

In an instant,

the surging white light enveloped Natsuhiko.

The scene twisted and shifted.

He felt as if he had once again entered Regigigas's Alternate Space.

Yet, he hadn't.

He merely entered a world filled with white light, surrounded by nothing.

This time, there wasn't even a trace of a Pokémon by his side.

Even Dragapult didn't appear.

Buzz—

A sound resembling a mechanical vibration echoed in his ear.

Soon after, Natsuhiko felt as if he was on a speeding train, even though everything around him remained unchanged and white, but he could feel himself moving.

Quickly,

a black dot appeared in his field of vision.

The black dot grew larger, gradually revealing a blurred outline of a "person."

When he finally reached the "person," he could clearly see its appearance.

This wasn't a person at all!

It was clearly the legendary Divine Beast, the one that pacified a massive volcano capable of devastating an entire region and dragged the continent to completely mitigate the enormous losses caused by the volcanic eruption...

Regigigas!

It had a massive white torso, covered with black stacked stripes; in the middle of the torso, from back to front, there was a yellow stripe structure with seven round holes; its arms dragged to the ground, and yellow disc structures were at its shoulders and wrists; its head and the sides of its feet were covered with green vegetation.

On either side of the center of its torso were three sets of circular spots that resembled eyes, with red, blue, and gray colors from top to bottom, representing rock, ice, and steel—Regirock, Regice, and Registeel.

You could see it sitting on the ground, its arms drooping, looking very exhausted.

Natsuhiko looked up at Regigigas, feeling quite shocked.

Though he had witnessed Azelf and Marshadow, the petite Divine and Phantom Beasts, they were nothing compared to Regigigas in terms of sheer physicality; from a sensory perspective, there was still a vast difference.

As for Zapdos, that didn't even need to be mentioned—the feeling given by a Zapdos without a Divine Position and Regigigas was entirely different.

Although a Zapdos without a Divine Position was still powerful, it felt like it could be challenged, if not captured.

Yet, standing before this Regigigas, despite its exhaustion, he felt like it was insurmountable, unopposable, like a colossal mountain, impossible to surpass.

Noticing Natsuhiko's arrival, Regigigas slowly raised its head, and the holes on it gleamed with white light, flickering without pattern.

Even though it had no eyes, Natsuhiko felt Regigigas's gaze falling upon him.

Sweeping over the "Will Treasure Pearl" in his hand.

Buzz—

Centered around Regigigas, layers of milky ripples spread out.

The surrounding scenery changed.

They came to a dense ancient forest.

Like third-party observers, Natsuhiko and Regigigas watched as "another" Regigigas searched for something within the forest, occasionally looking up into the distance at a massive volcano spewing thick black smoke.

The dense black smoke seemed to herald something.

Glancing at the Regigigas beside him, Natsuhiko vaguely understood what it was showing him.

The flow of time sped up.

The scene moved with Regigigas.

This was ancient times.

Natsuhiko witnessed the lushness of the ancient forest, saw Pokémon that had survived in those ancient times but had now completely vanished, saw humans living tough lives in simple attire...

Compared to the current Pokémon Realm, the ancient environment was undoubtedly much harsher, and the living conditions for humans were quite poor.

They had almost no resistance in the face of ferocious wild Pokémon.

Even so, the desire to survive still drove them to try and find opportunities to live amidst the gaps.

Only a very few could capture Pokémon.

Finally.

Regigigas, after a lengthy search, collected everything it needed.

Rock, ice, metal, Dragon Crystal, and... lightning that fell from the sky.

Regigigas began creating the assistance it required.

Thus, in the volcanic space familiar to Natsuhiko and under the roasting of the Pulsating Furnace, the legendary Regi Trio—Regirock, Regice, and Registeel—were born, while Regidrago created by the Dragon Crystal and Regieleki created by lightning did not wake up immediately for some reason.

But Regigigas didn't wait for them and instead led the Regi Trio to jointly block the imminent volcanic eruption.

However, this was ultimately only temporary, as once the magma accumulating in the volcano could no longer be held back, its explosive force would even surpass its original intensity.

Finally,

Regigigas made a bold and insane decision.

To move the earth!

By moving a tectonic plate, the underground magma would find an outlet, thus eliminating all hidden dangers.

Then,

Natsuhiko witnessed the most astounding sight he had ever seen in his life.

His vision rose to the high sky.

Allowing him to more clearly see the changes in the earth.

Crack!!

Accompanied by a colossal cracking sound that shook the heavens, an entire continent was forcibly split apart, like a cookie being broken in half.

Yet the visual impact of this spectacle could not be described as just a cookie.

It was a continent!

And such a massive shift in the continent had equally immense consequences.

Seawater inundating, underground magma forming new land, changes in mountain structures prompted by the moving tectonic plates...

Like a chain reaction, moving one plate signified that all plates would follow.

So what Regigigas moved wasn't just one plate, it was the whole world's terrain!

The visual impact of this, Natsuhiko thought, could only be rivaled by the scene of the Creator God Arceus creating the Pokémon Realm.

Having completed everything, Regigigas, completely exhausted of its internal energy, entered a long slumber.

The stream of time flowed rapidly, the scenes changed quickly, causing what Natsuhiko saw to fall far short of the shock of witnessing it firsthand.

But even as if watching a movie, the shock and awe it afforded him were not insignificant.

Compared to this, those so-called high-production 3D movies were leagues apart.

When Regigigas fell into slumber, all the images vanished in an instant.

He returned to that white space.

Natsuhiko and Regigigas's eyes met once more.

Man and Pokémon exchanged not a single word.

But seemingly no words were needed—Natsuhiko understood its meaning.

Sometimes, someone needs to step up and take responsibility proactively...

He nodded solemnly towards it.

The scene shifted.

He returned to the cave in the Divine Hall of Snow Peak.

As if nothing had happened, the Pokémon behind him remained unperturbed, only Dragapult seemed to have sensed something.

The next second,

crack crack crack—

The sound of breaking echoed once more.

And then he saw...

The pillar representing the Ice Divine Pillar among the Regi Trio shattered.

With Ice Pillar Regice standing before Natsuhiko.

An icy chill pierced through the air.

Natsuhiko raised a corner of his mouth, looking at the awakened Ice Pillar, his eyes gleaming.

Murmuring, "The Alternate Space is the reward, and Regice is the weapon. You've come this far, and if I still can't complete this mission..."

Give the reward first, then do the task—Kage and Meiyu did it this way, and now Regigigas as well. Perhaps this is a custom of the Divine Hall of Snow Peak.

"I'll come back and ask you for two more pillars!"

Regice: "..."
