Chapter 514 - Chapter 100: Momentum with Lance (Extended Chapter)_3

And they wanted to see what arrangements the Alliance had in mind.

Whether they would let the Magma Team leave or prepare some actions to get ready for it.

"Natsuhiko, what did you say to Kona?"

While waiting, Lance couldn't help but ask in a low voice.

"I just conveyed an apology for you, Kona has already forgiven you." Natsuhiko turned his head and said.

Originally, she wasn't mad at Lance; she was upset with herself for not being strong enough. Lance was merely the collateral damage, just the spark that lit the fire.

"Really?"

Lance looked up to see Kona staring at the campfire, playing with a twig, looking as cold as frost.

Does she really look forgiving?

But indeed, there was no longer that previous hostility.

"What did she say to you?"

"Nothing much, just that she wanted to communicate and learn more in the future."

Upon hearing this, Lance took a deep breath, "That's good."

Natsuhiko nodded.

That's good.

If there's not much "communication," how can the Kanto Region continue to hold the title of the strongest region?

Back to the point.

"Is there still no news?"

Lance smiled helplessly, "I don't even know if it's been successfully sent out."

Bang bang—

Suddenly.

While they were resting, sounds of battle came from afar.

Upon hearing the commotion, they all stood up.

Natsuhiko and Lance exchanged glances, "Let's go check it out."

Then the two quickly ran towards the source of the noise.

Before long.

They saw the origin of the commotion.

It was a group of Magma Team members battling the Vigoroth.

And judging by the battle situation, the Vigoroth had already fallen behind, as there were quite a few Magma Team members, and they were capturing Vigoroth in large numbers, plundering some resources within the Vigoroth territory.

They even alarmed the Slaking, but the Slaking was actually a bit slow to arrive.

Natsuhiko and Lance, upon seeing this scene, furrowed their brows in unison.

"Has the Magma Team gone chaotic?"

"Did the Campfire lose to the Volcarona?"

The two had different pieces of information, but their guesses were quite similar.

It's just that Natsuhiko was sure the Campfire was already dead, while Lance was speculating about the Campfire's situation.

Without the Campfire to keep order, several officers refused to submit to each other, and Flarepine's orders could no longer be delivered. Not knowing precisely when to leave, they began to seize every opportunity to plunder resources and Pokémon.

Thus, a group of Magma Team members set their sights on this large group of Vigoroth and the vast resources within their territory.

Seeing one Vigoroth after another falling.

Following this trend, the nearly ten Magma Team members would soon see traces of Natsuhiko and the others.

"Can you still fight?" Lance asked, his gaze fixed on a few Magma Team members.

After infiltrating the Magma Team, he had seen far too many scenes he didn't want to see, but he refrained from acting for the big picture and intelligence.

But now, having shed the Magma Team identity, he naturally shouldered the Investigator's responsibilities.

Understanding Lance's intention, Natsuhiko didn't reply but directly said:

"I'll support, you attack."

"Okay."

Without further ado, the two simultaneously threw out several Pokeballs, summoning their Pokémon.

Although it had been a long time since they fought together, their momentum, combat experience, and mutual understanding allowed them to coordinate seamlessly.

Their collaboration once again.

Charizard, Gyarados, Aerodactyl, Dragonair, Seadra—these are now Lance's five main Pokémon.

All in all, dragon Pokémon.

Natsuhiko summoned Beedrill, Yujira, Togetic, Doublade, and Cherrim.

Ten Pokémon, battling the dozens on the opposing side.

But the result was already evident.

Yujira and Togetic handled control, Beedrill did the finishing, Doublade assumed the Guardian role, and Cherrim provided team buffs and healing.

Lance simultaneously commanded five Pokémon, and though not as meticulous as individual commands, it was more than enough to handle the Magma Team.

Moreover, he fought with increasing excitement, the smile on his face never disappearing.

Fighting alongside Natsuhiko, he felt entirely at ease.

Just needed to fully exhibit his potent Attack Power and destructiveness without worrying about anything else.

After Togetic controlled a Pokémon, Gyarados would follow up with attacks, not needing to worry whether the opponent would lose battling capability, as Beedrill would strike.

Yujira used the Psychic Arena, Instant Movement, and Exchange Arena to maximize the flexibility and tactic utilization of Lance's Pokémon.

Cherrim's "Flower Ceremony" trait greatly enhanced the Pokémon's Attack Power, elevating their pushing capability to the utmost.

Lance's Pokémon were mostly adept at Physical Attack, making the boost effect quite significant.

Beedrill truly became an assassin, with its presence accompanied by the inevitable downfall of a Pokémon.

The main factor was Natsuhiko and Lance.

They knew exactly what to do and when, even needing no verbal exchange—blocking Techniques when necessary, attacking when needed, controlling when called for.

Natsuhiko thought that if he and Lance played bottom lane together, they could dominate.

The battle ended much simpler and quicker than they had anticipated.

With all the Magma Team members down, Lance still felt unfulfilled.

"It's been a long time since I fought so comfortably," Lance remarked.

"Better think about what to do next; the Magma Team's in chaos, and the ones affected might be the Pokémon and some other Trainers here," Natsuhiko said.

Upon hearing this, Lance's excitement subsided, and his expression turned somewhat grave.

He had thought that with the Magma Team leaving, things would end.

Who would have known such a change would occur?

"Let's go back and tell them this news, and see what everyone thinks."

With the power of their six people, as long as it's not the Magma Team officers coming, they can handle it effortlessly.

Even if the officers come, if there aren't many of them, it would just mean a little more pressure for them.

Unless all the Magma Team officers in the Alternate Space take action, otherwise, even if they can't win, escaping is definitely possible.

They could absolutely be regarded as the strongest small team within the Alliance in the Alternate Space at the moment.

Natsuhiko looked at Lance.

From Lance's words, he faintly sensed that Lance seemed to have a plan.

Shrugging his shoulders, "You decide."

After all, he is now with the powerhouse group, naturally following whatever the three main powerhouses decide.

Unless it leads to certain death.

Regarding that, Natsuhiko was very clear.

"Let's go, back."

With that, Lance headed back towards Hilona and the others' location with large strides.

Natsuhiko glanced back at the Magma Team members on the ground, pursed his lips.

And joined the pace with Lance.
