The collapsed Navy Base couldn't respond even if they noticed, as their cannons were mostly buried under the fallen buildings, and it was difficult for people to get out. The gate had also collapsed, buried in rubble, unable to attack the approaching Pirate Ship, leaving them open to charge into the harbor.
Soon, they didn't even have the chance to organize a counter-attack.
After dealing with the Navy, the pirates stormed into the town or headed towards the Navy Base.
Gin arrived first, using 'Soru' to speed up, rushing to the rubble-covered gate, swinging his mace like the wind, smashing it down hard.
Boom!
The gate of the Navy Base, covered in rocks, was shattered, and Gin raised his mace, shouting, "Charge in!"
The Demon Race, like a torrent, surged through the breached base gate.
"Weren't they supposed to rob the town? What's with the stone skin..."
Sage walked over from behind, clicking his tongue.
"No need to rush that, these guys are doing pretty well." Lily replied, following behind Sage.
"Indeed, not bad, these people..."
Sage chuckled, "In the future, even the worst of them will be like Gin now."
Mastering all Six Styles isn't difficult for the physique of the Demon Race.
Compared to the Giant, who is naturally gifted, the Demon Race is definitely not as strong, after all, they're not like 'Demon' Oars, but being of normal size, they are more agile, and can master the Six Styles faster.
Breaking through the Navy Base gate, the leaning and crumbling Navy Base, smashed by a punch from Sage, was overrun by the Demon Race, sweeping away the defending Navy like dry leaves.
The rest of it was looting.
Sage smashed the Navy Base with a punch, not shattered, it still retained its architectural shape overall.
Gin led the search and found the storage room of the Navy Base, hauling out weapons and gunpowder.
The cannons weren't needed.
Cannons are the same everywhere, except when special powers affect their strength, normal cannons are just that.
As for food supplies, they looted as well.
This wasn't the same as robbing rich people; Sage had a standard for this. Looting ingredients and supplies isn't worth much, just quantity is large.
Sage, having farmed with his adoptive father, knew that not many wealthy people were involved in the food business, those who cry and laugh mostly sell after looting, treating it as buying.
Only encountering large food merchants would Sage rob directly.
After all, with islands not connected, not every island is rich in resources, those big merchants transporting special food between islands are prime targets for robbery.
Now, getting supplies from the Navy Base didn't cost a penny.
"Captain Sage, we found gold!"
Gin, with his men, poked their heads from the heights of the Navy Base, yelling, "Three boxes!"
"Good! Very good, bring it all down!" Sage rejoiced.
Finally, some profit! Otherwise, he would've thought it was a waste to come here for a chest not even filled with Gold Coins.
After the Demon Race and the arriving subordinates finished at the Navy Base, they immediately turned to White Harbor, joining the looting.
Even young Las picked up a knife, following the crowd into the luxuriously decorated buildings and shops, taking part in the robbery.
Especially the Demon Race, all faces alight with excitement, first entered the clothing stores, long envying the clothes of the people around, after all, they had been shrouded in stone skin, hidden underground, seeing the colorful world, naturally, they wanted everything.
Though their taste wasn't so good...
"What are you wearing?"
Sage saw a member wearing a red scarf, with a belt wrapped around his upper body, just shorts on the lower body, coming out with an evil grin, and tugged at the corner of his mouth, saying, "Go change, you look like a pervert!"
If it weren't for a different skin tone, and the guy's eyes only filled with excitement for clothes, he would've personally dealt with this newly arrived oddity.
Otherwise, there'd soon be scenes on the ship like 'Brother, you smell nice.'
"Okay, boss." The Demon sheepishly scratched the back of his head and went back into the clothing store.
As soon as he went in, another Demon came out, muscular but wearing a maid outfit.
"Boss, why does this outfit have two pockets on the chest? I can't fit in it." The Demon tugged at the loose chest area, puzzled.
"Because it's for women! Don't you find it uncomfortable!"
Sage's forehead pulsed, "Standard attire, just wear regular shirts and pants, stop putting on weird stuff!"
His tolerance wasn't that strong.
Hates cross-dressers, hates perverts, also hates scumbags.
Subordinates have the freedom to do what they want, but not when it comes to perverted stuff.
The robbery at White Harbor, without resistance, was not slow, at least faster than at the Royal City.
Subordinates carried large and small crates, sending the spoils back to the Death Star, and the wounded were also sent back to the ship for treatment by the on-board ship doctors.
No surprises there.
Then, they set sail again.
This island only had so many places worth robbing; if not for the Golden Country, Sage wouldn't choose this place as a robbery target.
But since they came, they had to take something back.
Once on the ship, Gin was counting. Besides necessary supplies, not much Belly was taken, a Royal City and a port, totaling three billion Belly.
The place was lively, but it depended on the area, a place mostly selling stone didn't house many wealthy individuals.
Sage took half; the rest was distributed among the subordinates, with officers getting over four million Belly each, and subordinates, including the newly joined Demon Race, getting about a hundred thousand Belly each.
Regarding Gold Coins, there were four boxes in total, along with some gold bars.
Sage divided them in half, the rest also given to the subordinates, in addition to their personal spoils from White Harbor, neither much nor little.
Given the unified action with over a thousand people sharing, the hauls were decent.
Sage didn't forbid his subordinates from keeping loot unless it couldn't be valued or wasn't gold.
Some kept weapons they fancied or jewelry that looked nice, which Sage allowed them to keep without turning in.
As pirates, using rules to restrain them clearly wouldn't work; as long as they followed orders and the Pirates' rules, Sage was generous in other matters.
Regardless of numbers, pirates would privately keep loot, unrelated to the number involved.
Though not much gold was taken from the Golden Country, Sage did gain some new subordinates.
Three hundred and six, including Las, Demon Race members compensating for not obtaining much gold at the Golden Country.
Since there's no gold, having good hands will do.
Once trained, these subordinates could help rob more money in the future!
"Alright!"
After distributing the spoils, Sage clapped the armrest, grinning fiercely at them, "Now, put your money away and let's have a banquet! Celebrate another successful raid!"
"Oh!!" The subordinates cheered loudly, their voices echoing through the first-floor banquet hall.
The excess ingredients looted were for the banquet.
Barrels of wine were carried out by the subordinates, celebrating with the newly recruited Demon Race. The chef team first served some side dishes and then retreated to prepare a feast.
For the newly recruited Demon Race, Sage didn't worry about them not fitting in.
Adventurers at sea, a few drinks, a few heists, and instantly they become acquainted and become accomplices.
In the lively atmosphere, the Death Star sailed on following the direction of the Eternal Pose, headed for the next destination...
The City of the Spring Queen.
