Chapter 245 - Chapter 161: What's So Scary About a Fat Shut-In?

"The sea train tracks connect Water Seven and Enies Lobby. If you follow the tracks, you can return to Water Seven. By the time I get back, you'll have probably finished the robbery. We'll meet up on the ship, use the Eternal Pose to head in another direction and continue looting. Once we've hit all the major spots, we'll go straight into the New World!"

Sage said, "You're doing pretty well right now. We have the resources to enter the New World. Once we're over there, we won't have to worry about those annoying Navy guys!"

Lily expressed concern, "It's still a bit too risky. After all, he is a Navy Hero... Do we really have to rob Water Seven?"

"That's the core of the plan!"

Sage laughed heartily, "The most famous shipyard, designated for building Navy warships. Whether it's money or supplies, it's top-notch. If the Death Star needs to be strengthened, we must collect enough materials there. It's a rare opportunity; I don't want to miss it!"

An incident at Enies Lobby is too rare. If we miss this chance, we won't be able to keep Water Seven in mind.

It's not about whether we can win or not; it's about not fearing trouble!

From the age of two, Sage has never feared anything!

It wasn't long before Marika came up the stairs from the inner hall with dishes in hand, placing them on the desk, and then setting a portion on the coffee table.

Lily nodded, not bothering with polite thanks, as they had spent a considerable amount of time together, and their relationship was very good.

The high-ranking officers sometimes ate alone, sometimes on the first floor, and sometimes they simply ate in the captain's cabin with Sage.

After all, Sage had the largest appetite, and if he was eating, he could solve the officers' meals altogether.

Lily watched the Eternal Pose pointing to Water Seven until the needle turned ninety degrees, then prepared to issue orders to have the Death Star turn around.

They were already beyond Water Seven, and now, sailing laterally, as long as the angle was correct, it meant they were on the original course to Water Seven. From here, the Navy could never have known.

Aside from Lily, no one on the ship knew their position.

"Master Sage! Lady Lily!"

But just then, an urgent voice rang out from outside the door.

"Come in."

Lily responded, and then saw Gin burst through the door, exclaiming, "We've been blocked! Our ship is blocked!"

She instinctively looked out the window, her pupils contracting. Outside, she saw a massive wall obstructing the Death Star's path.

Lily stood up and walked to the window, frowning as her view expanded. In the midst of the storm, she could see a massive circular wall extending to the sides of the Death Star's position.

It's not just a wall; it also seems like a trap...

Completely surrounded.

"Devil's Triangle Sea Region..."

Hawkins entered, stating calmly, "Every year, at least a hundred ships entering this area go missing, so this fog-shrouded region has always been a forbidden zone. I've always been curious about why this phenomenon occurs. Now I understand... this is the reason."

"Sage, Sage!"

Renedia ran up the stairs from below, shouting, "We're trapped by a wall, and it seems really thick. Not sure if the cannonballs are enough!"

In the previous battle with Garp, Sage had thrown quite a few cannonballs, depleting their stock significantly.

But it's not a major issue.

If the cannonballs aren't enough, Sage can handle it.

His strength was evident to all.

Lily took out her binoculars and looked through another window, then turned her head and said, "Sage, there's an island. I can see the outline of a town."

A massive wall, the outlines of an island and a town...

Sage was taken aback for a moment, "I almost forgot, that guy is here!"

"Who?" Hawkins asked.

"Moriah!"

Sage stood up and moved towards the door, "Lily, head to that island. I want to meet that guy!"

In the Devil's Triangle Sea Region, hidden within this vast fog covering all routes was someone devouring every ship that entered the mist.

Once you were encircled by this wall submerged in the water, it signified you'd entered his hunting ground.

One of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Moonlight Moriah!

"A Warlord of the Sea?"

Hawkins' eyes lit up, "So it's him. I've heard of his deeds; he's an extremely terrifying being."

"What's so terrifying about a shut-in loser? Hahaha!"

Sage laughed, "Just right, I'm somewhat interested in him!"

The Warlords of the Sea were famous strongmen across the sea, well-known amongst pirates, so Sage's memory was clear.

This shut-in loser, ever since his defeat by Kaido, had been holed up here playing with figurines, pretty much akin to being done for.

But Sage knew he was quite formidable, after all, he had been a Warlord for many years and his position had remained unchanged.

If Sage's memory was correct, this shut-in loser was quite a strategist, similar to Hawkins but much more formidable.

With notable abilities, good wit, and a strong sense of loyalty, he cherished his allies, and as for his will...

If he could fall, he could rise again!

Even if not, just with the current Moriah, he was already very powerful.

For Sage, who was planning to rob Water Seven and then proceed to the New World, this guy... was a great target for recruitment!

As a pirate wanting to enter the New World, no matter what, targeting the position of a Four Emperor was essential, and the more powerful forces by one's side, the better.

Moriah was great!

The Death Star moved towards the island, quickly docking next to it. At the same time, they saw the massive, eerie castle on the island.

"Yikes! It's so spooky; it's a castle... No, wait, there are flags and sails on top!"

Renedia paused halfway, realizing something was off, looking up and exclaiming, "This is actually a ship!"

Among the masts on the castle, there were several large sails, one of which was black, depicting a skeleton with bat wings as a backdrop!

"Can ships be this big?!"

Renedia's eyes shone with excitement as she shouted, "I have to go inside and see how it's structured!"

Spooky?

Terrifying?

She wasn't interested in those things.

Marika's smile didn't falter as she quipped, "In such a big place, what do they eat? Could spooky places have spooky food? And what would that taste like?"

Lily's expression was as usual, standing by Sage's side.

She just disliked tentacles and sticky things; the eerie castle didn't bother her.

Hawkins wore an intrigued expression.

As a Divination Master, it was normal to be interested in eerie and mysterious things.

"Master Sage, how many people should we take ashore?" Gin asked.

"There's no need, just a few will do. I need to show some goodwill... Gin, stay on the ship, Lily, Marika, Renedia, old Haw, you four come with me," Sage replied.

"Should we prepare a meal?" Marika asked.

"No need for the hassle, we'll just go directly. It's just about finding the way."

Sage had just laughed when he suddenly felt stunned, his pupils instinctively revealing a red dot. He glanced towards the side deck railing, muttering, "Hmm?"

Lily also had a red dot appear in her pupils, her hand resting on the hilt of her sword.

Around them, there seemed to be a slight breeze blowing towards the pirates on the deck, reaching Sage, Lily, and Marika's direction.

"Ah..."

Marika's smiling expression paused, her cascading hair swirling up, a strand forming a loop to the side, as if binding something.

Although she did not have Observation, her ability to sense danger wasn't weak!

At the spot where her hair ensnared, a hand slowly appeared, seemingly trying to reach towards her.

Bam!

Marika directly swung her hand, catching what seemed to be in front of the hand, yanking it down hard and slamming out a figure.

"Sneaking up isn't a good habit, mister..."

Marika slightly tilted her head and said in mild confusion, "Mr. Lion?"
