Especially their Haki intensity—if the battle were to continue in a normal state, it would take at least half a day to exhaust their Haki; victory wouldn't be easily decided.
These men are very experienced. Just now during the fight, I could feel it—their Observation Haki is well developed. Even if only for an instant, their instincts prevent me from touching them.
They must have sensed something.
Under normal circumstances, I would be happy to let the five Vice Admirals hone their skills.
But now, I don't have the luxury of wasting time here.
So...
Swoosh!
Sage snorted out a stream of white vapor like an arrow, spreading over the ground. At the same time, he tossed his cloak into the air, letting it unfurl and drift down.
Thud!!
The figure swiftly moved forward, changing from its normal state to an expanded state in an instant, charging straight at Ghost Spider.
Ghost Spider was startled, instinctively deploying his eight swords simultaneously, slashing them in front like a whirlwind.
Clang clang clang!
Within the whirlwind, sparks flew. Beneath those sparks, there emerged a dark aura, expanding like a large black flame that grew taller than Ghost Spider, directly rushing inside.
Ghost Spider took a step back, the eight swords quickly returning to block like a web in front of him.
Boom!!
A small burst of aura struck the eight sword blades. Within that aura, tightly adhered, was an extraordinarily fierce fist.
An extremely terrifying, fierce body was revealed on top of that fist, muscles knotted like entangled steel bars, like muscle armor.
"Blocked it?"
Sage sneered at him, "No, you didn't! Tenha Kassatsu!"
Boom!!
The fist pressed against the sword blade thrust forward forcefully, the Haki gathered on the fist suddenly spreading, entirely rushing toward Ghost Spider.
"Pfft!"
Ghost Spider bit off the cigar in his mouth, blood seeping from his mouth corner, uncontrollably flying backward.
The enormous power, coupled with the sudden spread of the Haki Shock, impacted his body, preventing him from protecting his body with Haki—it could not withstand.
Sage punched Ghost Spider flying, swiftly kicking to the side. With a crisp sound, his foot collided with the sword blade in Yamakaji's hand rushing forward.
Once contacted, Sage slid his leg along the sword blade until it bent, wrapping the blade with a surge of force, pulling Yamakaji closer holding the sword.
Sage twisted on one foot, rotated his waist, and delivered a fierce knee strike to Yamakaji's head, sending him crashing to the ground.
After delivering the hit, he didn't pause; his body flickered, instantly appearing in front of the diving Flying Squirrel. Flying Squirrel's pupils flashed a red dot, seemingly expecting it, swiftly drawing his sword in a diagonal slash as Sage disappeared.
Clang!
Near the neck's position, Sage's palm appeared, gripping the sharp blade. The Haki protecting his body combined with his physical strength resisted Flying Squirrel's Sword Master Haki and slash, unharmed.
Upon catching the blade, Sage's other hand formed a fist, punching Flying Squirrel's abdomen hard, causing him to involuntarily leave the ground, his entire body curling up and soaring.
Punching the person skyward, Sage followed through with a side kick, sending Flying Squirrel flying into the warship, smashing through its deck, carving a deep trench, until it stopped at the iron wall.
Sage stomped heavily, twisting his body, reaching out both hands to catch the crossed swords of the approaching Strawberry from behind, flashed a fierce grin, and head-butted his tall hat.
It wasn't a tall hat; his head was naturally long.
After the head-butt, Strawberry instinctively leaned back, releasing his grip as Sage forced his twin swords apart, stepped in, and slammed his shoulder into his chest.
Bang!
The mighty force caused Strawberry to crash hard against the outer ship of the warship, creating a dent.
As Sage struck Strawberry aside, he swung his arm sideways, seizing Doberman's blade coming forward, pulling it aside, creating an opening, then punched toward his head.
Boom!
The blow dented Doberman's head for an instant, sending him toppling into the bridge, smashing the deck into a huge depression, scattering stones.
Sage waved his hand, flashed back to his original position, shrinking his body while extending his hand to catch the cloak drifting slowly from the air, draping it over his shoulder.
"Hahahaha, better find reinforcements!"
His eyes once again glowed intensely red, the Supreme King Haki like a tangible force, seen by these Haki-experienced Vice Admirals as a black-red torrent, rushing skyward.
Even this City of No Night dimmed slightly under the influence of this skyward Supreme King Haki.
"This guy..."
Ghost Spider, covered in blood, staggered to his feet, spat out the cigar he had bitten off, eyes full of dread.
Can Haki be used to such an extent?
These Vice Admirals were exemplary in freely controlling Haki, but compared to Sage, they're leagues apart.
This guy's Haki seemed moldable, constantly adjusting its range and shape, then attacking with it.
Not to mention that terrifying physique and Body Techniques.
Especially the Body Techniques!
Hands, feet, head, joints... during battle, every possible part he utilized, like a combat machine exhausting every possibility!
