Chapter 265 - Chapter 174: Buster Call? Pressed!

Enis Tower.

The highest office.

"Finally here!"

Spandam, with half his face covered by a mask, couldn't contain his excitement upon seeing Nico Robin and Franky being brought to him.

"Nico Robin, fluent in the ancient weapons' scripts, and Carter Flamm, you're useless now since the plans aren't on you, but seeing you still brings me joy! Hahaha! Ah!!"

Just as Spandam stepped forward, Franky seized the opportunity and bit him on the head.

"Ouch ouch ouch! Get him off me! Don't just stand there!"

The guards struggled to subdue Franky, while Spandam, rubbing his head, kicked at Franky unsatisfied.

"Had I known you were still alive, I would've caught you sooner to prevent Sage from getting the plans, you've caused me trouble again!"

Spandam chuckled, "But it's fine, you're here now, you can't escape, this is Enies Lobby after all!"

He raised his hands, laughing excitedly, "That Iceburg is too clever, hard to catch, I was losing patience and ready to interrogate him forcefully. But then Admiral Aokiji gave me a tip... Nico Robin, about you, he said you were heading to Water Seven, so the plan was executed, you got framed for a crime, unrelated to us here at Enies Lobby, isn't it great? Hahaha!"

"Why..."

Robin asked calmly, "Why did Aokiji give you the 'Buster Call'?"

She took the blame for attacking Iceburg, cooperating with CP9 totally, all because of the Buster Call, CP9 informed her it was in Spandam's possession...

"You're asking me?"

Spandam's smile froze, and he charged up, throwing a punch at Robin.

"What right do you have to question me?! Criminal!"

Bang!

Just as his fist was about to land on Robin's face, the recently closed door suddenly flew off as if struck by something heavy, the massive door sailed over Robin's head and its bottom edge pinned Spandam beneath it, crushing him down.

"Where's Spandam!"

Sage swaggered in, glanced around, "Where is he, let him come see me."

CP9 members filed in, following Sage inside, Lucci noticed the pair of trembling legs beneath the door, "He's pinned underneath."

"Yo-yo-i, Commander!"

Kumadori strolled over, grabbed a leg and pulled out the dazed, nearly flattened Spandam.

"This is Spandam?"

Sage stepped forward, casually seated himself in the chair behind the desk, didn't bother with Spandam, and opened the drawer, searching for something inside.

Spandam clutched his head, shook it side to side, barely adjusting to the dizziness from the door impact, and saw Sage occupying his seat, shouted, "You must be Sage! Who gave you permission to sit in my seat, you Pirate! Quick, arrest him! Plus the Pluton plans!"

"Sorry, Commander!"

Kumadori drew his Ryofu, pressed it to his stomach, "We're not a match for the Captain, can't do such a thing, I deeply regret it, the only redemption is seppuku for my incompetence!"

"Tekkai."

Kumadori seemed soulless as he collapsed to the ground, lamenting, "Yo-yo-i! Too bad, still alive!"

"Don't fool around at a time like this!"

Spandam shouted, then looked at Sage, "You! Do you realize where you are? This is Enies Lobby! A fortress with ten thousand troops! I don't know how you got past our front gate defenses, but with so many, you think you can escape, escape, escape..."

His words turned to stutters, his eyes bulging, half his mask-covered nose dribbled snot, displaying a look of fear mixed with bewilderment.

Because Sage had pulled out a palm-sized Golden Radio Snail from the drawer!

This snail had no receiver, just a button on it.

"Is this it?"

Sage hefted the snail, his thumb pressed on the button.

"Lightly! Lightly!"

Spandam's body shook like a sieve, "Do not press it, lives will be lost! If pressed, it's all over!"

"So it really is the Buster Call after all."

Sage's thumb stroked the button, he chuckled, "Just a small button, can decide an island's fate, everything on the island, obliterated, indiscriminate attack... What an effective tool."

"Sage! What are you going to do, that thing mustn't be pressed, you've been through it, you know the terror!" Robin's pupils contracted, she shouted loudly.

"Yes, yes, it can't be pressed, let's negotiate... anything's negotiable, Norton Sage."

Spandam said, "What do you want? Lift your Wanted Order? Cooperate with us, the World Government? Even a spot among the Seven Warlords of the Sea, isn't there an opening now? As long as you hand over Pluton's design plans, I can report to the World Government, you can have whatever you wish."

"Seven Warlords of the Sea... really, outdated news."

Sage chuckled, "Don't you know? I just declined the invitation from the Seven Warlords of the Sea, their offer was much better, just wanting me to help decipher the Poneglyph, how come your terms suddenly became so harsh, you've taken a cut as well?"

He waved his hand, "Tell me, are those warships stationed at Water Seven under your command?"
