Chapter 409 - Chapter 242: Entering Mary Geoise

The next day, morning.

Guernica, responsible for guiding, arrived at the docking spot of the Death Star, clearly showing a look of surprise.

"Moonlight Moriah!"

That familiar flaming onion-like hair, isn't it Moriah?

"A special agent of the World Government? I heard from Sage that you are here to escort us to Mary Geoise."

After a long night of festivities, though lacking rest, Moriah seemed rather spirited. He was leaning against a giant tree, arms resting behind his head.

"Why are you here?"

Guernica, whether his face was a mask or painted, revealed cold sweat as he questioned, "You're one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea!"

"Heh heh heh, still daring to say such things..."

Moriah laughed for a while but pondered, then said, "Forget it, just know that I'm no longer one of the Seven Warlords. I've now joined Sage's Pirates."

After Sage left, he was initially a bit hesitant. After fighting like this, maybe he should've kept his position as one of the Seven Warlords.

The final result was indeed this way; Doflamingo informed him that the higher-ups seem to have changed their minds and are willing to keep him for further observation.

But this instead made Moriah resolute in his decision.

He didn't need such indecisive decisions. Since they are still contemplating his place in this position, he might as well go directly to Sage!

At least Sage's sincerity was truly substantial.

Guernica took a deep breath and looked deeply towards Moriah, remaining silent.

A Warlord joining the Disaster Pirates...

Is both good and bad.

This would make the New World more intense, but at the same time... would make the Disaster Pirates even more uncontrollable.

"What are you thinking?"

Moriah laughed mischievously, "Thinking of finishing me off here?"

"Just joking, the Heroes of the West Sea are not that easy to deal with."

Guernica shook his head, "I will only act according to orders and won't do anything unnecessary."

"That's why I admire you, Guernica."

A voice sounded from the front, Guernica glanced sideways, only to see Sage stepping down from the gangway of the Black Ship with a smile, under the sway of a black and red-tipped fur cloak, "Why not consider coming to work for me?"

"Now that you've arrived, let's go. We have arranged your itinerary; all are positioned at 60-69 spots, and a special elevator for giants is prepared."

Guernica did not respond to Sage but swept his gaze over the giant Black Ship, saying, "Similarly, if you want to take your ship along, we have elevators too. But how to make the ship move, we won't handle that."

"Thoughtful, very sincere, hahaha. This time you have indeed done something satisfying, things would've been better much earlier; Marineford wouldn't have been destroyed."

Sage chuckled, turning to call, "Stansen, can you carry this ship away?"

Last night he went to rest on the ship, trained a bit upon waking, took a shower, but most of his subordinates were resting on the ground, including Giant Stansen.

There wasn't anywhere else for him to stay except the deck, it's the same wherever he rests.

Upon hearing Sage's words, Stansen, who was sitting and eating a massive chunk of meat, stood up, causing the ground to tremble slightly as he moved. He shoved the meat into his mouth in two or three bites and rumbled, "Leave it to me, Captain."

"Wait a moment."

Following Sage, Lily spoke, looking at everyone, and said:

"Gin, take the devil to the ship and standby, Renedia, don't disembark, help stabilize the ship. Bellamy, Pearl, Mute, Jean Bart, you four split into four teams. The rest follow me with Sage."

Speaking, she looked at Moriah, "What do you think?"

From last night's interaction, she felt that this former Warlord was exceptional in strategy, complementing their combat strength and strategic planning currently lacking.

With him now aboard, the strategists on the ship totaled three.

She herself focused on tactical command, supplementing Sage's plans.

Hawkins was the advisor, forecasting the success rate of actions and providing opinions.

Moriah acted as a strategist, highly perceptive to the situation, sharing drinks and analysis with Sage, demonstrating he was indeed remarkable as a former Hero of the West Sea.

"Heh heh heh, very well organized, I'll follow your instructions." Moriah chuckled eerily.

He wasn't worried about anyone else taking the top position; after all, nurturing the next generation is also a pleasure, and he originally joined midway and would respect Pirate traditions.

Despite being forty-eight and in his prime, he couldn't match the younger generation; this woman was only sixteen, and moreover...

Her Haki was extraordinary.

Properly nurtured, she will become the core of the Disaster Pirates in the future.

Lily nodded, saying, "Stansen, proceed."

Stansen approached the Death Star, hands gripping the vessel, veins bulging on his arms, neck, and forehead, his breathing clearly hastened for a while. With a shout, he hoisted the immense black ship onto his shoulder as if shouldering a sandbag.

"Oh! Rising!"

Onboard Renedia exclaimed but simultaneously used her hands to generate a spark of electricity, pressing onto the ship to maintain its balance on Stansen's shoulder, preventing it from tilting.

"Hey, stand up."

Sage tugged the chain around Charlos's neck, causing him to stand up and keep close.

Guernica pursed his lips, not saying much, leading them towards the destination.

The islands are relatively close; in about two to three hours, they reached the Navy and World Government base at Shampodi, approaching the position near the Red Earth Continent, awaiting the elevator's descent.

Sage led a group of officers into an elevator.

Stansen carried the ship, entering a specialized large elevator inside, while the others split into four teams and entered other elevators.

As the elevator gradually ascended, Sage's view expanded, the Shampodi Islands below becoming smaller until nothing was visible, halting at a high altitude, arriving at a huge staircase.

"Up there is Mary Geoise."

Guernica said, "Please adhere to our agreement; this is the Holy Land, avoid alarming the dignitaries within, otherwise..."

"Otherwise what? Kill me? Hmph hmph hmph... I'm not like you guys; I believe in commitments."

Sage stepped out of the elevator, onto the stairs, a red glow flashing in his eyes, "Also, you have prepared your defenses, haven't you? Two have come..."

At the top of the high stairs, two slightly visible silhouettes, blue and yellow like statues, stood at the entrance on either side.

Kizaru, Aokiji.

To ensure no accidents, the two Admirals have been deployed here.
