Chapter 814 - Chapter 497: No Orders, No Battle

Regarding Armament, some people lean towards impact, others possess explosive power, and some have penetrating force.

Concerning Observation, besides the normal version where 'Foreseeing the Future' can be achieved after deep cultivation and those more special VIP versions, there are also some Observation abilities with different expressions even in the ordinary version.

Some have a wide range, some can lock onto persons, which is also a part that can be refined by everyone.

Lily's Observation is one of them; she hasn't reached the level of 'Foreseeing the Future', but her unique 'Severed Will' gives her Observation the power to sense people's external emotions.

Unlike Fujitora's perception of emotions and inner feelings, it is more like a battle between swordsmen, where one can confirm the opponent's character through combat, or like a sensory-sensitive person who can easily discern whether the opponent is nervous or excited when facing an enemy.

Lily's Observation can confirm the state of everyone.

"Not good!"

Seeing the convoy led by Sage charging out of the lane and turning to the second road, a government official far behind immediately took out a Radio Snail and shouted:

"Quickly let Saint Karma evacuate, the disaster has passed!"

...

The second road is a bustling avenue, with prosperous shops on both sides of the road, but the shopping street that should have been filled with tourists is now empty.

There are two reasons.

The first is the arrival of the Heavenly Celestial Dragons, which forced those who didn't want to cause trouble or be targeted to leave early or simply close their shops.

The second is the news of a disaster approaching, causing people who should have been kneeling and waiting for the Heavenly Celestial Dragons to pass to flee in panic.

At the center of the street, a group of government officials and Navy were accompanying a person riding a slave, with a bubble on his head, and two young women dressed in the same attire on either side.

That was Saint Karma and his two daughters.

"Those damned people! They dare to disrespect me this much!"

Sitting cross-legged on the back of a giant slave, with his head shaking as if electrified, Karma waved a staff and screamed in a sharp voice: "Execute! They all must be executed!"

It was too humiliating!

He was just casually strolling down the street, in a rare mood of not wanting to kill, yet those kneeling people ran away right before him just because they heard a Pirate invasion!

Even though he shot a few, he couldn't stop the panic of those lowly people.

"Is a mere Pirate nobler than a Heavenly Celestial Dragon?!" Karma shouted angrily.

"Saint Karma..."

The black-clad servant beside him pursed his lips, advising: "Please evacuate temporarily, an atrocious Pirate, a disaster is imminent in this place, if he discovers your presence, the situation might not be good."

"Yes, Saint Karma, that's a disaster, you also saw the Summit War two years ago; he doesn't fear your or the Highnesses' identity, lest he might offend, so please relocate your noble body!" A Navy officer also earnestly advised.

Bang!

Just as he finished speaking, Karma pulled out a Golden Pistol and shot him in the chest, making him fall down.

"Major General Smike!"

The nearby Navy exclaimed, wanting to move but were quickly pulled back by another Navy, preventing them from appearing in the view of the Heavenly Celestial Dragon.

In this situation, if they rush forward, they might get shot again.

"Bastard! How dare you order me! What disaster, just lowly people, if I get hurt, it will be your failure to protect, all deserving the death penalty!"

Karma's head shook even more fiercely, "I am a noble Heavenly Celestial Dragon!"

"Yes, father, lowly people, how dare they." The daughter on the left said with disdain.

"Pirate? So what." The daughter on the right was even more straightforward.

This attitude made those trying to continue advising fall silent.

If they don't persuade, once the disaster arrives, if anything happens to the Heavenly Celestial Dragon, they probably won't escape either.

But if they persuade now, they will be attacked by the Heavenly Celestial Dragon.

Some Navy members were already regretting being involved in this...

"Humph! Capture those lowly people back!"

Karma shouted: "Make them continue to worship me, and after they're done, execute them. This is the price for disrespecting the Heavenly Celestial Dragon!"

"Yes!"

The Navy responded faster than anyone, two people lifted the fallen Major General, quickly scurried away with the others.

The black-clad servant beside the Heavenly Celestial Dragon was about to speak to keep them, but suddenly saw a light appear at the front of the street, quickly enlarging in his vision.

Bang!

With a loud bang, the black-clad person was sent flying, like a thrown rag doll, falling far away dozens of meters.

A vehicle stopped in front of Karma, with the entire front slowly fading from an inky black, restoring its original color.

Behind this car, a large number of sports cars drove onto the street, surrounding the Heavenly Celestial Dragons from front to back, inside and out, while simultaneously turning on their headlights, illuminating the Celestial Dragons in the center.

A group of ferocious pirates, licking their blades or fiddling with their guns, got out of the cars, all grinning fiercely at the Celestial Dragons in the center, like predators eyeing their prey.

Or like monkeys about to be toyed with...

"So dazzling, damn it!"

Karma instinctively raised his hand to shield his eyes and shouted loudly, "How dare you make me feel dazzled, I will sentence you all to death!"

No one responded. The servants who were supposed to follow orders and act immediately stood frozen in place. Whether they were armored soldiers with spears or other black-clad attendants, they all stood there, their bodies shaking, cold sweat dripping from their foreheads.

The door of the foremost car opened, and out walked the figure who struck fear just by being on a wanted order, the apex of the pirates, the terrifying legend of the sea...

Calamity!

Norton Sage!

"Oh... It really is the Celestial Dragons."

Sage bared his teeth, and under the car's headlights, they reflected a chillingly white light, instilling fear.

"So those are the Celestial Dragons, huh."

In a car nearby, Sipher leaned against the door, casting a glance at the three Celestial Dragons, "They don't seem that impressive or strong; why do they hold such a high status?"

"Indeed."

Misty, who got out from the passenger side, agreed, "They're quite weak. Will such people really attract a Navy Admiral?"

"Peasants! Why aren't you kneeling!"

Karma, slightly adapted to the glaring light, saw Sage before him at first glance and instinctively raised his hand to fire a gun.

Clang!

But before he could pull the trigger, a cold gleam flashed through, slicing the pistol in half and severing Karma's arm from the center, leaving it to hang in two pieces.

"Ah!!!"

Karma clutched his arm, crying out in pain, rolling on the ground after falling from a slave's back.

Lily flicked her sword blade, coldly looking down at the person on the ground, "Should we finish him off?"

"Keep them to sell for money!"

Sage laughed, "Three Celestial Dragons, each worth ten billion Belly, that's thirty billion for three... Maybe we can even add some other conditions, right."

He looked toward a spot and said, "Have you lost the courage to face me? Or have you betrayed?"

Swish!

Just as he said this, a white shadow swiftly flashed through the light, darting behind the Celestial Dragons, and knocked all three unconscious in an instant. The remaining soldiers and attendants also had blood spurting from their necks, falling silent.

The person wore all white, a tall hat, one bloody finger dangling, and spoke, "I'm a special agent of the World Government; whatever it is, it doesn't count as 'betrayal,' right, Sage."

"You're getting paid by me too!"

Sage laughed heartily, "Long time no see, Lucci! Come join me for a banquet in a bit!"

...

"Vice Admiral Gion! Vice Admiral Tokikake! Saint Karma has been surrounded; should we proceed with a rescue?"

Not far down the street, the two navies, who had just guided civilians to safety, happened to encounter the ones escaping from the Celestial Dragons.

Gion, hand resting on the hilt of her sword, looked in a direction, remaining silent.

Tokikake shrugged, hands in pockets, and chuckled,

"Don't kid around; we don't have orders to engage in battle with the Four Emperors. Hey, Gion, give up that idea. That's the Three Heroines over there, along with Calamity himself. We can't beat them."

Gion released her grip on the sword hilt, sighing, "If we are held accountable afterward, it will be troublesome."

"Trouble is better than seeking death. I didn't receive any orders from Boss Saka. Our task is to escort the Celestial Gold, I mean, that's your task; I'm just following you for a vacation."

Tokikake said, "Let's focus on evacuating the civilians first."

They are Admiral Candidates, not Admirals. Two years ago, they didn't get promoted, not because they lacked qualifications, but purely due to insufficient strength...

They're significantly less capable than Fujitora and Ryokugyu.

Ryokugyu was effortlessly defeated by Sage last time; he wants no part of that mess.

Besides...

The Celestial Dragons, he doesn't want to get involved with them either.

Anyway, there aren't any orders.
