"Don't underestimate me!"
Dellinger's eyes were filled with fury as he opened his mouth full of sharp teeth, "I have the blood of a Fighting Fish!"
"Die!"
As he pierced through a Navy member, a few more rushed towards him, half with guns and half with swords, aiming for Dellinger's back.
At that moment, a few wisps of spirits passed through these people, and a few black lines visible to the naked eye appeared above their heads, causing them to kneel and fall into despair.
"Hmph!"
Perona floated into view from the rear, turning her head aside, "Don't misunderstand, it's not like I wanted to save you, I just happened to drift over here."
Buffalo stopped spinning, blinked his eyes, looked over at Perona, and after a moment of confusion said, "Tsundere?"
"I'm not a tsundere!"
Perona shouted, "It's just a simple favor, don't say such things!"
"Eh? But Master Sage said you are a tsundere..." Buffalo said in confusion.
Compared to Lily, this guy matches the tsundere attribute more.
"That damn Sage! One day, I'll make him admit he's a stinking salted fish!"
Perona stretched out her hand and summoned numerous ghosts, sending them flying towards the Navy in another direction.
The central battle was back and forth, but among her subordinates here, there weren't many elites, so they barely managed to gain a slight advantage, but the rest could only barely fend off the numerous naval forces and government agents on this ship.
This forced the strategically capable Perona to constantly intervene.
Perona gritted her teeth, "Even though it's supposed to be a neutral ground, why are there so many enemies? Is it because of the Heavenly Celestial Dragons..."
The ghosts could be used for attack or reconnaissance, and she had seen Sage capture the Heavenly Celestial Dragon.
This place could maintain neutral ground because substantial amounts of Heavenly Gold were paid. With so many enemies and the presence of the Heavenly Celestial Dragon, there must have been a mission to escort the Heavenly Gold.
It all coincidentally came together.
Yet, she could still maintain control, as long as her abilities were used well, this battle...
"Attention all Navy!"
A broadcast-like voice surged around her. Right in front of Perona, an eerie, unsettling aura spread, almost causing her to lose control of her ghosts.
Not far ahead of her, a black glow suddenly lit up on the ground, revealing a circular pentagram inside that black glow, with a '5' in the connecting points between the corners.
Magic Array?
Perona, who loved haunted castles, was familiar with such things, but how could something from fantasy become reality?
This thing actually had power!
And it was extremely terrifying!
...
On another side, Lily was facing off against Momousagi, and Marika, who was supporting the Gold Ball, hadn't moved. Suddenly, a figure dashed out from her side. Marika took two steps back, clenching her other fist, just as a flicker of afterimage flashed in front of her eyes.
Bam!
Sage kicked the figure enveloped in an earthy yellow aura, sending it flying heavily towards the side where Momousagi was battling Lily.
Momousagi was already locked in a sword clash with Lily but sensed something, spun around, retreating around Lily, lifting her hand to catch the shorter figure compared to her.
"Tokikake!"
"Sorry..."
Commodore Chaton, a Navy Headquarters Vice Admiral and Admiral Candidate, held his stomach with an awkward smile, about to say something when once again a flicker of afterimage passed by.
Bam!
Sage struck straight into Chaton's abdomen, the surging force embedding his leg into Chaton, colliding into Momousagi, taking her with him flying back.
"Blocking me?"
Sage grinned grimly, extending his leg which rapidly morphed, stomping heavily on the ground, projecting himself forward, soaring to meet the flying duo head-on, grabbing their heads with his hands.
Wham!
He spun mid-air, using the centrifugal force to hurl the duo violently, crashing one building after another in front of them.
Simultaneously, Sage, still airborne, stepped decisively in the air, creating ring after ring of smoke, landing on the still intact rooftop of a building, overlooking the dust rising in two directions from the building below.
"Not qualified yet! Hohohohoho!" Sage laughed heartily.
"Ouch, ouch..."
The smoke cleared, and Chaton, rubbing his stomach with one hand and the back of his head with the other, stood up from the rubble, looking up at Sage exuding enormous dominance under the dark clouds.
"The natural disaster boss is as grand as always, we're only acting on orders, please don't misunderstand it as declaring war." Chaton squinted lazily, "Otherwise, it wouldn't be just us here. You've heard, the Five Elders came personally, our orders are to stall you, not let you leave."
"Tokikake!"
The ruins on the other side suddenly emitted sword Qi slashes, cutting the buried buildings into fine segments. Momousagi stood out from within, holding the famed sword 'Konpira,' and solemnly said:
"This isn't something you should say to a pirate!"
"It also depends on what kind of pirate it is."
Chaton chuckled and said, "For someone like the boss of disasters, an explanation is necessary. Both Navy and pirates have always existed on the sea, and they won't disappear no matter what."
This statement surprised Sage, "You see things clearly, but the cost of offending me still has to be paid, even by the Navy."
"So stingy, disaster boss, but if a cost must be paid... that will have to wait until next time. The Five Elders are about to emerge."
Tokikake pointed in the ten o'clock direction, where the atmosphere became increasingly uncomfortable.
"Don't worry, it'll be in time."
Sage extended his palm, and lightning leapt between his five fingers. As he opened his fingers towards the sky, the cloak behind him stirred a mass of dark clouds upward, merging with the sky's clouds.
Sizzle...
A massive amount of lightning darted through the entire cloud layer.
"Tenma Daijizaitenjin!"
Rumble!
Lightning in the clouds cascaded down, transforming into countless lightning pillars that filled Chaton and Momousagi's view.
Full-screen attack!!
"This is..."
Chaton stared blankly at the descending thunderbolt from the sky, "There's no way to block it..."
Rumble!!
The lightning struck the ground, engulfing the bodies of the two.
The Power of Nature can rival the formidable strength of willpower!
Pure nature is enough to overwhelm anyone.
This level of power is not something a mere Admiral Candidate, unable to assume the position of Admiral, can withstand.
The gap in strength is not something a mere Admiral Candidate can challenge.
"If you want to fight me, call in Akainu and Kizaru."
Sage coldly laughed, and then his gaze turned to the pitch-black pentagram magic array emerging on the ground.
The black aura there intensified, becoming as material as jet-black thunderbolts that spread within the magic array.
It's coming!
"Those with the rank of Commodore and below, evacuate immediately, do not face the Saint's grandeur!"
Broadcast sounded again.
Boom!
The materialized jet-black thunderbolt gradually fused into black light, burning like a flame around the pentagram, condensing into a gigantic form.
A person in a black suit, with demon horns atop his head, and a scar over his left eye, appeared within the pentagram array.
His hands held a massive scepter, coiling black flame clouds around his arms, draping over his shoulders like a feather cloak, his upper body fairly normal, while the lower part spread with surrounding black fire, revealing the scepter's rear, resembling spider legs.
"Monster, monster?!"
At the combat center, regardless of Navy or pirates, everyone was shocked when a monster appeared, instinctively looking up at the monster's visage.
Bang bang bang!
The heads of those who looked exploded suddenly, splattering a mass of fresh blood.
"A monster?"
Not far away, Lily and the three others carrying gold also saw the monster and furrowed their brows.
"Huh?"
Renedia looked directly and happened to meet its eyes, her breath inexplicably halted, as a strange pressure surged straight to her forehead.
"Thunder Fist!"
Boom!!
A lightning column as thick as an arm crashed into the monster's head, drowning out that gaze.
Sage descended straight from a distance, blocking the center between the three and the monster, facing it directly with a sneer:
"Zoan-type awakening? Doesn't seem quite like it. What exactly are you?"
As the lightning dissipated, it revealed a charred head, which swiftly steamed black cloud patterns to restore itself.
"You should maintain respect for me... Norton Sage."
The massive and imposing head lowered slightly, speaking calmly, "My name is Jaygarcia Saturn, one of the Five Elders, Scientific Defense Martial God."
