After resolving the giants' crisis, Kael and the others didn't leave immediately, but instead prepared to follow the giants back to their tribe.
However, before setting off, Kael looked at the Death Eater on the ground and asked, "What about him? Should we take him along?"
"Leave it to me." Hagrid took out a round mirror, walked aside, and whispered a few words to it.
Honestly, the mirror wasn't very large, about the size girls carry around, and when Hagrid held it, it was like holding a freshly baked corn chip, as if he might crush it at any moment.
Fortunately, that didn't happen.
In no time, two small black dots descended from above, appearing before the group almost instantly.
Sirius and Lupin landed unsteadily on the ground.
"Hello, Mr. Scamander, Ms. Maxime," Lupin said, tossing a stone he held aside. They had used a Portkey to arrive, though it was useless now.
"Oh, and Kael and Hagrid, long time no see."
"Long time no see, Remus," Hagrid said. "I was worried that mirror wouldn't work."
"I've been keeping an eye on the Two-Sided Mirror," Lupin said, pulling out another round mirror, "As long as you call my name, I can hear it instantly. So, did you encounter any danger?"
"All sorted out," Hagrid said.
He then briefly recapped the events… mainly because when he arrived, the entire valley was enveloped in thick fog, and he hadn't seen much of the details.
Meanwhile, Sirius had discovered the Death Eater lying on the ground. He walked over, and upon seeing the figure, he suddenly froze.
He didn't snap out of it until someone tapped his shoulder.
"What's wrong?" Lupin asked.
"Ah, it's nothing," Sirius shook his head, his gaze still fixed on the Death Eater, "Do you know who he is?"
"Lestrange?" Lupin looked over, surprised.
Though he'd already learned this from Hagrid, seeing it in person felt different.
For they considered him an old acquaintance, having interacted quite a bit some ten years ago.
"Yeah, Lestrange." Sirius shook his head, "Remember how he was back in school? He was quite the charismatic figure."
"Of course, I remember. A prominent Slytherin, both prefect and Head Boy," Lupin said. "Too bad he later sided with You-Know-Who."
"You knew him?" At this point, Kael curiously asked, "You guys don't usually get so sentimental over a dead Death Eater."
"Sentimental? How could we!" Sirius shook his head, "We had many dealings during school, and he was my cousin Bellatrix's husband — technically a relative."
"Ah, sorry," Hagrid instinctively apologized, "I didn't mean to…"
"What nonsense are you saying, Hagrid?" Sirius looked at him, "He's a Death Eater, why apologize? Even if I were here, I'd definitely kill him."
"And speaking of relatives, there's always a bit of connection among Pure-Blood families; I'm not close with him."
"Weren't you prison mates?" Kael murmured from the side.
Sirius paused momentarily, then irritably glanced back at Kael.
"Alright, you got me," he muttered, "Lestrange was next door, even said he'd kill me, but after a month, he couldn't say a word… That idiot."
As he spoke, Lupin had already picked up Lestrange.
"We must go; Alastor and the others are waiting." He took another stone from his pocket.
"So soon?"
"Don't forget, Portkeys have a time limit…" Lupin said, "We can't help much here."
"Alright then," Sirius placed his hand on the stone, "Are you coming back with us? We can go together."
"Not yet," Newt said, "We have other matters to attend to; it's not time to return."
"If anything happens, we'll stay in touch." Lupin waved.
With that, the two disappeared again.
Next, Kael and the group prepared to visit the Giant Tribe.
According to Newt, they needed to confirm that the giants truly posed no issue.
"But can we really do this?"
As they followed the route the giants took to leave, Kael asked with some worry, "We just stopped the giants from joining You-Know-Who; the Death Eaters who came are dead or injured. What if You-Know-Who gets angry and comes here himself? We're not his match."
"Don't worry, You-Know-Who won't come." Newt shook his head and said:
"Before departing, Dumbledore said You-Know-Who doesn't care for all Fantastic Beasts and won't sincerely treat his Death Eaters, merely using them as tools.
"He'll surely be angry, but just because his order wasn't fulfilled, it won't change his original plan. He wouldn't come seeking revenge himself."
"Besides, even if he does come, we have a way to handle it." Newt confidently stated.
Seeing this, Kael said no more, merely joined the others and followed the giant footprints leading forward.
