Chapter 910 - Chapter 739: Heading to 12 Grimmauld Place (2)

"That's right, we were passing through London on our way back to Hogwarts and thought we'd stop by," Kael said.

"We?" Mrs. Weasley only then noticed that there was a girl standing behind Kael.

How should I put it... for a moment, she seemed even more excited than when she saw Kael.

"And this... I guess you must be Conna, Kael mentions you often."

"Yes." Conna turned to look at Kael, who seemed unfazed, then looked back at Mrs. Weasley, "Conna Prince."

"Welcome, dear." Mrs. Weasley stepped forward and gave her a hug, "I'm really glad there's someone new here."

"New?" Conna was a bit confused.

To be honest, she still hadn't figured out what was going on, nor did she know where she was.

Was this the Weasley family? Probably not, she remembered that the Weasleys lived in Ottery St Catchpole along with Kael and Cedric.

Noticing her confusion, Mrs. Weasley asked, "Dear, didn't Kael tell you where this is?"

Conna shook her head.

Mrs. Weasley immediately glared disapprovingly at Kael, but just as she was about to explain, two excited voices interrupted from behind.

"Conna..."

"What brings you here!"

Fred and George came running over, almost knocking Ron over, who had come to see what was happening.

"You know each other?" Mrs. Weasley asked.

"Mum, we've known her for six years," Fred quickly said, "and it's not just us—Dad, Charlie, and Bill know her too."

He was referring to the last Quidditch World Cup when Conna joined them, but Mrs. Weasley hadn't gone that time, so she hadn't met her.

"She's the Conna we've told you about," George said, "and one of our best friends..."

"Though she obviously has a better relationship with Kael."

At this point, the two suddenly winked and flashed a knowing, mischievous smile.

It was indeed very mischievous, even Mrs. Weasley couldn't stand it, and she twisted their ears and pushed them back into the room.

"Sorry, dear, please forget about those two unruly ones," Mrs. Weasley said calmly as she turned around, "Now, where were we? Oh, the Order of Phoenix."

"The Order of Phoenix?" Conna blinked.

"Yes, it's an organization Dumbledore set up to fight the Death Eaters, and this is the headquarters," Mrs. Weasley said, "Alright, don't just stand in the doorway, follow me. I made beef stew for lunch, it'll be ready soon.

"Charlie, you should head out, Bill will switch shifts with you at lunchtime."

"Alright, Mum."

Charlie, who was about to come in, reluctantly agreed and walked out of the house, closing the door behind him.

"This way, dear," Mrs. Weasley said as she led Conna and Kael to the kitchen.

At this moment, Kael suddenly noticed a few heads poking out from the direction of the stairs.

From top to bottom, there were Harry, Hermione, Ginny... and Ron right beside them.

"What are you all still doing here?" Kael asked, a bit puzzled, "Today is the last day of the holiday; aren't you supposed to take the train to school?"

The Hogwarts Express had set off early in the morning; normally, they shouldn't still be here.

"We were supposed to," explained Harry, "but Mr. Weasley said Professor Dumbledore arranged for a one-time Floo Network connection, so we can get back to school in just a second."

"I see, that's quite convenient," Kael said.

"Yes." Harry nodded, "But Kael, what are you doing here, and at this time?"

"Didn't I just say? Just passing by," Kael said.

This reasoning might fool Mrs. Weasley and Harry, but not Fred and George.

While Mrs. Weasley led Conna into the dining room, the two brothers simultaneously pulled Kael into another room.

"Spill it honestly..."

"What are you really up to!"

Fred and George flanked Kael, one on each side.

"Don't give us that 'just passing by'..."

"We won't fall for such a lousy excuse!"

"I didn't think it would work on you guys," Kael shrugged, "I came here because I wanted to visit Knockturn Alley. Remember the letter I sent you before?"

"Knockturn Alley?" Fred thought for a moment, "You mean, the thing about watching Draco Malfoy?"

"Exactly," Kael said, "So, did he visit Knockturn Alley during the holiday or not?"

The Weasley Brothers' shop wasn't far from the entrance of Knockturn Alley; even from the shop, they could see the entrance through the display window.

So when Kael wrote to them before, he mentioned this matter.

"We don't know," George shook his head, "You know, with the Ministry of Magic being so busy now, we don't have time to always keep an eye on the shop."

"But we left the task to the house-elves in the shop," Fred said, "The house-elves are always extraordinarily enthusiastic about their work; it's the best choice to entrust them with it."

"Makes sense," Kael patted their shoulders, "Then why am I even talking to you?"

After saying that, Kael turned to leave the room.

"Hey, wait!"

Fred quickly blocked the door, explaining:

"We planned to find out in the afternoon and then write you back."
