But such behavior put Fred and George, who had just arrived, in a difficult position.
Earlier, they had thought that if the Death Eaters refused to cooperate, they could use the excuse of interrogating them to vent their anger.
But now, seeing how unbelievably cooperative they were, even to the point of excess, how would they find a reason anymore?
Two hours later, the group left Diagon Alley and returned to No. 12 Grimmauld Place.
By then, the sky outside was faintly brightening.
As soon as they pushed the door open, Mrs. Weasley immediately ran over.
"Arthur, thank God!" she exclaimed excitedly. "Where on earth did you take the children just now, why didn't you let us know, do you know how worried we were when we found you gone?"
"Sorry, Molly, sorry," Mr. Weasley hurriedly responded and explained what they discovered at St Mungo's Hospital.
"You recognized that person from Flourish and Blotts?" Mrs. Weasley asked with a frown.
"Yes, that's why we thought to take a look at Diagon Alley," Mr. Weasley said, "And we were just in time to handle dozens of Death Eaters."
"Even so, you should have told us," Mrs. Weasley was still a bit dissatisfied, "We could have gone together."
"I saw you were all too exhausted, and that's why I didn't say anything. Besides, as members of the Order of Phoenix, it doesn't matter who goes, right?"
"But you shouldn't have taken the kids with you."
"But Fred and George graduated a long time ago."
"Don't play dumb, Arthur, I was talking about Kael."
Kael?
Subconsciously, Mr. Weasley thought of the events in Diagon Alley, his eyes twitching suddenly.
It's undeniable, Kael's most puzzling aspect is his age... a recent graduate, indeed causing many to underestimate him.
And this underestimation can often be fatal at times.
Before this, Mr. Weasley couldn't imagine he could so nonchalantly kill a Death Eater, especially when no one present knew exactly what he did.
He still remembers, as they decided to leave Diagon Alley, how relieved the looks in the Death Eaters' eyes were.
But for some reasons, he didn't tell Mrs. Weasley about this and had also advised Fred and George before entering.
"You must be hungry, right?" Mrs. Weasley asked after hugging Kael.
With her asking so, Kael indeed felt a bit hungry.
They hadn't eaten much during dinner, and with everything that happened afterward, busy till dawn, it's only natural to feel hungry.
"Let's eat something before sleeping," Mrs. Weasley led everyone to the kitchen.
Half an hour later, a steaming hot supper was ready.
Due to worrying about Percy, Mrs. Weasley obviously wasn't in the mood, so this supper was primarily prepared by the house-elf Kreacher.
Though he was somewhat unwilling and insisted it was just for Kael.
But no one minded.
During the meal, Mr. Weasley briefly recounted the Diagon Alley incident, deliberately glossing over the parts related to Kael, only selecting some mentionable aspects, fortunately without much effect.
"Do you mean You-Know-Who is injured?" Mrs. Weasley asked in surprise, "Is the information reliable? After all, it's You-Know-Who; could this be a fake news intentionally luring us into a trap?"
"I don't know, but from their description, it appears to be true," Mr. Weasley said, "Can we contact Dumbledore now?"
"No," Mrs. Weasley shook her head, saying worriedly, "We've tried before, but Dumbledore's Communication Coin hasn't responded..."
"Or we could try contacting Sirius," Kael suggested, "Professor Dumbledore should still be discussing matters with Ms. Bones at the Ministry of Magic. If Sirius and Tonks are still there, they might find him."
"That makes sense," Mrs. Weasley nodded, "I'll go right now."
