Professor McGonagall glanced at the time, "Pomona, I think we should... Oh, Albus, what are you doing here."
Albus?
Kael couldn't help but turn his head, just in time to see Dumbledore not far behind him. No one knew how he got there.
The appearance of Dumbledore also made the atmosphere on the scene become much more lively, and people gathered around him.
Lyle Lupin ran from afar, looking gratefully at Dumbledore, thanking him repeatedly.
"There's no need for that, Lyle." Dumbledore held his arm, "This is Remus's due; he earned his happiness with kindness and a noble character, it has nothing to do with me."
"No, Albus, it was you who let him enter Hogwarts; only then did he have this chance." Lyle Lupin said choked with emotion, "Compared to that, I've been such a failure as a father."
"Don't ever say that." Dumbledore comforted him.
"Albus, what brings you here." Professor McGonagall walked over and asked, "Weren't you saying there was something very important going on recently?"
"Originally, yes." Dumbledore shook his head helplessly, "But there was a little mishap in between, I found the wrong place, the person I actually needed to find is right here."
"At the wedding scene?" Professor McGonagall asked in confusion.
"Exactly." Dumbledore nodded.
But before he could say more, he was surrounded by the crowd, including the day's main attraction, Lupin and Tonks, so he could only offer his congratulations first.
"Congratulations to you both." He said with a smile, "The incident was sudden; I apologize for not preparing a suitable gift in advance."
"You gave us one already, didn't you?" Tonks said with a smile, "Without that drop of Phoenix's Tears, Remus wouldn't have been able to leave the hospital so soon; had that been the case, who knows when our wedding would have been postponed to."
"The provider of the tears was Fawkes, not me." Dumbledore said, "Oh, I've already thought of a gift for you, but now is not quite the right time; if you can wait..."
"Of course, no problem." Lupin said with a smile, actually sharing Tonks's view, not really caring what Dumbledore wants to give him.
...
Elsewhere, watching Dumbledore surrounded by the crowd, Kael was also curious why he suddenly came over.
When they parted yesterday, his tone clearly meant he was leaving for quite a while. How did he return so soon?
"Isn't it great?" Cedric said, "Really hope that when Cho and I get married, Dumbledore can join us."
"What did you say?" Kael turned his head abruptly, "You're getting married? When."
"Of course not now." Cedric shook his head, "Cho's parents want to take her away from the United Kingdom, come back once things have stabilized. We were just talking about this, which is why we came a bit late."
"What, you can't bear to see her leave?" Kael asked.
"Of course not." Cedric said, "I kind of hope she can stay in another country for a while, just treat it as traveling."
"How about France." Kael thought for a moment, "Conna opened a Magic Potion Shop there, because it just started, there's a lot going on, just right for them to be together."
"That's what I said too." Cedric sighed, "But Cho doesn't want to leave and had an argument with her parents."
"What do you mean?"
"I advised her to leave." Cedric said, "But Cho got really mad and even kicked me."
He lifted his robe, revealing a clear footprint inside.
"Serves you right." Kael raised an eyebrow, "At times like this, you should stand with her; you can figure out the rest later."
"Why didn't you say so earlier!"
"You didn't ask me either."
"Forget it, let's not talk about this." Cedric rubbed his forehead, "I've been meaning to ask since earlier, why is Bathilda Bagshot staring at you all the time, did you know her before?"
"I don't know either." Kael shook his head.
What Cedric said, he indeed noticed too. Ever since some point, Bathilda had not looked at anyone else, just kept staring at him.
Until Dumbledore appeared, the uncomfortable gaze shifted briefly, but it didn't disappear.
