Chapter 328 - Chapter 296: Berlin

Su Ming floated in the sky, arms crossed, watching with keen interest. He had only seen Apocalypse turn a city to dust in movies before, but now he could see it firsthand like blockbuster special effects, and he had front row seats.

Clouds and smoke, large airships, all under his feet, the sun shining on his back felt quite warm.

After all, it's a German city, so ruined it is. At worst, after this is over, there will be post-war reconstruction.

But the X-Men wouldn't agree, as there are many civilians below, and even though they're German, not everyone is guilty.

Ordinary people shouldn't die like this, there are hundreds of thousands of them.

Actually, Apocalypse only targeted buildings with his molecular ability, as he still wanted to rule humanity. How could he randomly kill people?

He's a god, his words count, when he says he'll destroy a city, he means city destruction, not targeting residents.

As long as one's luck isn't too bad, or residing in tall buildings, building disappearance doesn't actually harm people.

Of course, the unlucky ones are exceptions.

However, the New X-Men didn't know this, and Little Rascal secretly tugged at Su Ming's uniform from behind.

Turning his head, he saw the young girls all staring at him eagerly, eyes filled with reluctance.

Cable and Vanessa also secretly shook their heads at Su Ming, indicating that Apocalypse should not be allowed to do this.

Su Ming sighed quietly; these guys' Saint Mother Syndrome needs a cure. Didn't they see Wade was about to fall asleep?

Not to mention not too many people would die, even if the whole city was wiped out; it's wartime, and death of a few hundred thousand isn't very unusual, Apocalypse's action is far less than nuclear weapons.

"Sigh..."

But since the young girls were asking him, and other teammates didn't support it much, for the bigger picture, Su Ming decided to persuade Apocalypse, to not lash out like this.

"Great god, I saw that guy!"

Su Ming suddenly screamed beside Apocalypse, pretending to be gnashing his teeth, pointing to a spot on the ground.

That was where the Conqueror was pretending to work as Xiaohuzi.

With Su Ming's sudden interruption, Apocalypse nearly choked.

Unable to continue brewing, he knew his followers were eager for revenge, so decided to first see what the Conqueror was up to and then destroy buildings just the same.

"Are you sure?" Apocalypse withdrew his hands, putting them behind his back.

"Yes, I'm very sure. He seemed to look in our direction just now." Su Ming knew that at this moment, ambiguity wasn't an option, and he needed to add some urgency for Apocalypse.

"Hmm...technology again, being discovered is normal, but I, as the True God, never need to hide or evade, let's go down."

With Apocalypse's words, they fell like meteors, instantly crashing at the Prime Minister's Office entrance, a purple light shield protecting them, creating a large pit in the roadway.

The ground rippled like waves, lifting the asphalt, and next were gravel and flying dust, all glass in the Prime Minister's Office shattered like fireworks.

The guards at the door were elite; they immediately hid behind tall marble pillars, fired at the group, mixing ordinary bullets with blue energy beams.

Commendable courage, but alas, they faced Apocalypse, and defenses like these meant nothing to him.

The German Army's attack fell on the spiritual energy shield like raindrops on an umbrella, apart from minor puffs, having no effect.

Yet Apocalypse slowly floated out from the pit, expressionlessly rolling his eyes, instantly erasing all of them.

Except for the hands still holding weapons, their bodies turned to white ashes, scattered on the ground.

Whether their clothes, personal items, modified mechanical limbs, or their original souls, all disappeared, as if annihilated in the long river of history.

With just a glance, Apocalypse eradicated hundreds of Banner Guard members, and they were currently the German Army's strongest elite.

Su Ming covertly signaled Cable to calm everyone, Apocalypse's power was too dangerous, even if they were to turn hostile, they must wait for the right moment.

Apocalypse slowly landed, observed the surrounding dust.

Erasing some ordinary people, such actions were easy for him, he raised his head, looked at the tall and beautiful white building, and continued inside.

But before he stepped on the stairs, countless flying discs swooped down from the sky, with giant robots charging from the distant street corner.

If the robots Su Ming encountered in Paris were already ahead of their time, then these nearly ten meters tall robots with arms full of weapons are even more exaggerated.

They were wider, larger, painted with giant Iron Cross mark on thick armor plates; every step felt like the ground was trembling.

This time attacking the group were not individual weapons, but instead large-caliber energy cannons.

But Apocalypse didn't take them seriously, he simply raised a hand, gently made a lifting motion, and all those flying discs and mechas turned to sand and drifted away.

Su Ming could even see crew members inside mechas, looking baffled, still keeping their posture on the operating equipment, screaming and falling from high altitude.

Flying disc pilots, needless to say, without flying machines, each fell to ground with inertia, becoming small meat patties.

"Come out and face me! Rama-Tut! I'm tired of your little toys!"

Apocalypse wasn't in a hurry to go inside, instead, started taunting Conqueror Kang at the entrance.

He hadn't seen Rama-Tut for thousands of years, almost forgetting what kind of opponent he was.

The opponent was indeed arrogant, but equally fond of conspiracies, and in his lair, any trap is possible.

Installing various traps in the pyramid, placing treasures to lure in thieves, watch them die miserably through surveillance devices, was Rama-Tut's favorite leisure method.

Apocalypse disliked such tricks, preferred Kang to come out and fight him face-to-face.

Su Ming sighed; he knew it would end up like this.

As far back as 3000 BC, the two were like this, with Kang hiding in his palace, tightly protected by the Imperial Guard, setting around layers of traps.

Apocalypse circling from afar, even though knowing his powers, wouldn't charge directly, continuously waiting for the opportunity.

Just like someone outside scolding: "Come out, if you dare, come out!"

Another person inside a castle-like home replies: "I won't come out, if you have guts, come in!"

Besides the battle of words across the air, there was no progress...had it not been for The Four Wonders encountering the Conqueror first, Apocalypse would have been waiting forever.

"Enshabunur, let me go in first to investigate the situation."

Su Ming didn't want to wait any longer, Conqueror Kang could escape at any time, perhaps even retaliate with a nuclear bomb, taking advantage of fooling Apocalypse, if he could stall Kang for a bit, let Apocalypse join the fight, Kang would be finished.
