The entrance area was filled with nearly 20 zombies and the giant zombie. Finn had to cross them and reach the inside of the gate.
Charlie, who was watching over Finn from The Kong, quickly ascended to the top to activate the Automatic Machine Gun. He aimed it at the zombies and was about to fire but stopped when Finn signaled by tightening his fists for him to halt.
Finn signaled for him to shoot at the corner of the entrance area to distract the zombies. Charlie turned on the gun. Bullets rained down; nearly 100 were fired in a second. The force of the gun caused Charlie to lose his balance, and he couldn't control it, spraying bullets across the entire entrance area.
"Fuck, shit, shit…" Finn ran and took cover behind a wall from the gunfire.
Charlie stopped the gun. "Fuck, this is heavy," Charlie muttered, looking for Finn, hoping he hadn't killed him in the crossfire.
The spraying of bullets killed many zombies, and the giant zombie began killing the remaining ones due to the confusion. Finn took advantage of this opportunity and drew his sword from its sheath, running towards the remaining zombies.
Finn dashed into the horde, swinging the sword with utmost precision and speed, aiming for their heads. The metallic clash of steel against bone echoed through the air as Finn fought with all his strength and skill. He punched the sword into the faces of the zombies, cutting them down, and for some, he severed their heads. And then came the big one: the giant zombie seized one of the zombies, tearing it into two parts with a roar.
Finn and the giant zombie locked eyes, the dead gaze of the zombie fixed on Finn. The gaint Zombie growled at finn and Finn who is yet to fully recover is looking at the zombie.
Despite the overwhelming size and strength of the undead behemoth before him, Finn stood his ground, his grip tightening on his sword.
He knew a big fight was coming, and he could feel the tension in the air. His heart was pounding, making him feel even more anxious. With a guttural roar, the giant zombie lurched forward, its massive fists swinging toward Finn with deadly intent. Reacting swiftly, Finn dodged the crushing blows that threatened to pulverize him.
With swift and precise movement, Finn countered, driving his sword towards the giant zombie's neck with all his strength. Suddenly, the giant jerked, and Finn only managed to slash the creature's mouth. Growling in pain, the giant moved forward, then turned back and grabbed Finn by the throat.
Charlie, hesitant to turn the gun on again for fear of hitting Finn, searched for another weapon. Spotting an AKM nearby, he picked it up and aimed at the back of the zombie, firing multiple shots.
The giant released Finn, who quickly retrieved his sword. With all his strength, Finn attempted to decapitate the giant, but the sword failed to slice through and became lodged in the middle. As the giant stood up, Finn, still holding onto the sword, was lifted into the air.
With a loud roar, Finn drove the sword through the giant zombie's head, severing it, and blood gushed out of its neck. Both of them collapsed to the ground. Covered in the giant zombie's blood, Finn looked at Charlie and grinned.
Finn collected his gun and all the equipment he had lost due to that blast. And started to move to the Power Distribution area.
Radio static noises...
"Finn, Finn... are you there? Can you hear me?" Mike's voice crackled through the radio.
"Yes, Mike. Have you restored the comms?" Finn replied.
"It's not an easy task, and we've got a problem, Finn. Some Whites are mixed in with us," Mike explained.
"Fuck, that's bad news," Finn said.
"Yes, and hey man, finish this quickly. Those fuckers are closing in on us," Mike warned about the situation at the tower.
"Hey kid, do you hear me?" Finn asked Charlie.
"Yep," Charlie replied.
"Thanks, kid. You saved me. And one more thing, what the hell is that shooting, kid?" Finn inquired.
"Sorry, Finn. The gun's too heavy, and the fire rate is too fast," Charlie explained.
"There's a sniper, kid. Why did you use that AKM?" Finn asked.
"The sniper is under the backseat. Take it. We're going to have some company," Finn directed
Finn entered the gate and made his way to the Power Distribution Network. Along the way, he encountered numerous dead zombies, some of which had been shot in the head, indicating that he wasn't alone - the Whites were waiting for him.
In the Control Room, five people belonging to the Whites faction awaited him. Finn sighed and shook his head. 'I don't have time for this, man,' he muttered.
'Charlie, take them down,' Finn instructed over the radio.
Bang.. Bang.. Bang.. Bang..
Four of them were shot dead immediately by Charlie. Finn stopped Charlie before he could kill the last member.
Approaching the last person, who cowered on the ground in fear, Finn spoke in a low, intense voice. 'You've started a war you can't win. Do you know why I'm leaving you alive?'
The person shook their head saying no.
'I need you to tell her that THE END IS NEAR,' Finn said dramatically.
Finn switched on the power supply for the mesh and contacted Mike, who had reached the center of the tower to help Iris and the others via radio.
"Hey, the power's back," Finn told Mike.
"Got it," Mike replied and contacted Johnson, who was at Gate-A. "Johnson, what is the status on the zombies?" Mike asked.
"They're near, Mike. We're going to start shooting; all the soldiers have confirmed their status and are waiting for Iris's order," Johnson replied.
Iris and her team had completed the rescue of the people stuck in the tower, and Rose was treating the wounded.
Mike handed the radio to Iris, who was being treated by Rose for the wounds she had sustained during the blast.
"Kill those fuckers," Iris said in a strong tone.
Soldiers who were on the watchtowers at all four gates started shooting the incoming horde.
The soldiers kept on shooting, their guns booming through the eerie silence of the desolate landscape. But no matter how many bullets they fired, the horde just kept coming. It was like trying to stop a flood with a bucket.
"Damn, they're huge in numbers. They're breaching the mesh. Fuck, they're even moving in the mesh," soldiers muttered.
"Mike, it's getting out of hand. They're going to breach the mesh," Johnson radioed Mike.
"We're running low on ammo! What do we do now?" another soldier shouted, his voice tinged with panic.
"We fight! We stand our ground and fight until the very end!" Iris declared over the radio, her voice cutting through the chaos with unwavering resolve.
As the horde closed into the gates, the soldiers braced themselves for the inevitable clash, their hearts pounding in their chests. It was a battle they couldn't afford to lose, but with each passing second, the odds seemed more and more stacked against them.
Then a large siren was heard it was so loud that it can can be heard over 5 miles.
Every zombie turned towards the siren, and all soldiers closed their ears due to the sound and looked toward its source. There stood a man atop a vehicle, covered with blood and wearing headphones. He was Finn Donald.
Finn raced to the gun, his heart pounding with urgency as he grasped the controls and activated it. With a deafening roar, the gun erupted into action, unleashing a relentless storm of bullets—a tempest of destruction that tore through the air with ferocious intensity.
In a whirlwind of chaos, the bullets rained down upon the horde like a punishing downpour, each shot finding its mark with deadly precision. Nearly 300 zombies crumbled under the relentless onslaught, their twisted form was no match for the relentless onslaught of lead. The ground shook with the force of the gunfire, the earth itself trembling beneath the weight of the onslaught.
In just a minute, more than 2000 bullets had been fired, annihilating the zombies.
All the soldiers who were in the towers sighed with relief and descended to the ground. The weight of tension lifted as they surveyed the aftermath of the battle, realizing that all the zombies lay lifeless before them. Their mission was accomplished, and they could finally breathe a sigh of relief.
After clearing the danger, Finn asked Charlie to stop the siren and drive to the center of the tower to meet the rest of the people.
The duo reached the tower, and Finn got down from the vehicle. Rose saw him and ran towards him, embracing him tightly. "Thank God you are safe," she whispered.
"Thank you for praying for my safety," Finn replied, gazing into her eyes.
Finn moved away from Rose to check on the injured people. "You took Charlie?" Iris asked Finn.
"Yes, I had to. He insisted on coming," Finn replied, noticing Iris's judgmental gaze.
Then Iris and Finn moved to a safe area and began to talk. Afterwards, Finn climbed onto some rubble near the tower and began to address the group.
"Once, 424 of us lived here, but now 100 are gone, and nearly 50 are injured. We didn't ask for this. We were all happy; we laughed, loved, and drank together, We lived like a family. But now everything that John built has been destroyed. And this suffering… This suffering is all because of her. She refuses to accept that Lila is dead, and she brought war upon us. And does she think we'll sit idly by? NO. She ambushed us like a coward, sending her people among us like wolves among sheep. But we won't hide. We're going to their home like lions attacking their prey, and we will bring her to an END. I AM DECLARING AN ALL-OUT WAR ON THE WHITES. Who will stand with me?" Finn declared.
All the people shouted loudly in agreement, except Rose, who was confused.
