Gulp!
Someone gulped nervously, and gathering their courage, asked, "Were they also killed, Sir?"
Jamie glanced at the speaker.
It was a man in his early twenties, who despite trying to stay calm, was trembling ever so slightly, clearly terrified.
"Can't you tell?" Jamie asked.
Just from the corpses' overall mutilated appearance, it was clear they were killed, brutally at that.
The only reason he had bothered to get down the truck and examine them was to see what weapon the killer used and whether he was the one of the killers who had slaughtered several streets they had checked before this one.
And the answer he got was… Yes. They were from the same. Only, they seemed to be more frenzied than before.
'Just what's going on here?' He thought.
After seeing the state of corpses, for a moment, he had thought the killers were zombies, but zombies should have completely lost their minds so they shouldn't have been able to use weapons.
