Chapter 377 - Chapter 214: Mewtwo Is Too Dangerous (×) Ash Is Too Crazy (√)!

Facing the strange expressions of the Elite Four, Lorelei could only nod helplessly and say, "It's just as you thought. It was entirely Ash harnessing his Aura Power to contend with Mewtwo just now. Otherwise, with my power alone, I wouldn't have held out until you arrived."

Hearing this, the gaze of the Elite Four turned uniformly towards Ash, everyone's eyes were filled with a strange look. It was the first time Bruno and Lance had seen Ash in person.

"These skinny arms and legs... is this for real?" Bruno, also known for his physical strength, muttered, with a hint of skepticism in his voice. Although Ash's body was slightly better developed than an average teenager's, his exposed arms didn't appear muscular.

There didn't seem to be any abs under his clothes. With a body like this, he's confronting a Divine Domain Level entity? If he punched down, this kid might end up crying.

"Ash, nice to meet you. My name's Lance, just call me Lance. Leave the rest to us. You should take your friends and leave," Lance, although somewhat skeptical, knew now wasn't the time to dwell on such matters.

Focus on the task at hand.

Regardless of whether Ash could truly physically contend with a Divine Domain entity or not, now that they were here, they certainly wouldn't let a rookie bear such a burden alone.

As the saying goes, when the sky falls, the tall ones hold it up. They, the Elite Four, are the tall ones in the world. Letting a kid bear this crisis would be a disgrace to the Elite Four.

Mewtwo, upon hearing this, furrowed her brow slightly but didn't say anything. On one hand, she was curious about the Elite Four, humanity's top combat powers, and wanted to see if their alliance could challenge her.

On the other hand... she really didn't want to fight Ash anymore. Despite the seemingly evenly matched battle just now, Ash's fists had brushed past her body several times. Without her Superpower for Teleportation and predictive movements, she'd have been hit.

Mewtwo could sense that if Ash's fist landed on her, given her current physical abilities, she'd likely be seriously injured!

Right now, her physical strength had dropped below half!

After reaching the Divine Domain Level, a Pokémon's power is enhanced in all aspects, with the greatest enhancement in physical strength. Whether or not they're a Legendary Beast, reaching the Divine Domain Level grants them physical strength comparable to a Legendary Beast.

The difference between Legendary Beasts and ordinary Pokémon is like a boss with an absurdly high health bar. At the same level, an ordinary Pokémon's stamina is a hundred, a Quasi-God is a hundred and fifty, while a Legendary Beast is two hundred!

While there are different types of Legendary Beasts with varying stamina, the difference is generally not significant.

Upon reaching Divine Domain Level, a Pokémon's stamina experiences a qualitative leap, and Mewtwo could feel that her stamina had increased much more significantly than any other power boost.

Yet right now, after taking two of Ash's punches and exchanging a few moves with him, her physical strength had already halved, illustrating the immense damage and expenditure of battling Ash.

If given the choice between the Elite Four and Ash, setting aside grievances, Mewtwo would unhesitatingly choose the Elite Four. Even if the four attacked together, she didn't believe they'd be harder to deal with than Ash.

Thus, Mewtwo didn't refute Lance's words. She suspected her difficulty in defeating Ash might stem from not yet fully adapting to her current physical strength.

So she decided to first practice with the Elite Four, and then face Ash again once she fully mastered her body's strength!

Ash looked at the earnest Lance, then at the silent Mewtwo, and after a moment, slowly shook his head, "Mr. Lance, I'll handle this. Please take Misty and the others away. This matter started because of me, so I want to take responsibility myself."

Previously, Ash hadn't known the reason for Mewtwo's 'revolution', but now he understood. Everything was a misunderstanding caused by him. One must take responsibility for their own actions, and he planned to resolve the issue with Mewtwo, ensuring this matter was completely settled.

"Ash, you..."

"Lance, let him go. Ash can handle it," Lorelei interrupted Lance. Her eyes shone brightly as she looked at Lance, seemingly conveying some message in her wine-red eyes.

Lance paused, then silently released all of his Pokémon, "I understand. But if things go awry, I'll intervene immediately. Mewtwo, don't blame us; you're just too dangerous. Even if it's unfair, we must bring you down."

The latter part of that was directed at Mewtwo, whose pupils contracted, a surge of anger rising uncontrollably within her.

'Dangerous, dangerous, you humans always say self-deceiving things, wanting to do something yet finding ethical pretenses to make yourselves feel justified. Humans, such despicable creatures, are not fit to rule this planet!'

Lance's words clearly struck a nerve in Mewtwo. From the start, no one had treated her as a normal Pokémon, but rather as a weapon!

The attitude of the League appeared respectful, but in essence, they were no different from Team Rocket, viewing her as a dangerous weapon, prone to losing control. Any slight disturbance caused them to become as jumpy as frightened birds, which was utterly ludicrous!
