Therefore, its Frenzy Plant is not only a bit stronger than the normal version, but it also doesn't suffer from subsequent stiffness, which is why Venusaur doesn't have any delay after using Frenzy Plant.
With a roar from Venusaur, countless massive roots and plants surged from the ground once more, rushing towards Torterra.
"Use Headlong Rush to clear them all." Paul commanded coldly.
Headlong Rush is a Ground Type skill, with power equivalent to Flare Blitz. Although it doesn't cause recoil damage, it lowers its own defenses.
Ground Type skills are ineffective against Venusaur; this much was already known. Therefore, Paul wasn't using this move to attack Venusaur but to clear the Frenzy Plant.
The powerful Ground Type energy enveloped Torterra, turning its entire body earthen yellow. It then moved its massive body, charging recklessly towards Venusaur.
Numerous massive roots and plants tried to block Torterra along the way, but when these plants touched the light screen, their power was halved, and then they crumpled upon contacting the earthen yellow energy covering Torterra.
The halved-power Frenzy Plant clearly couldn't compete with Torterra's Headlong Rush.
In less than a second, Torterra had leaped in front of Venusaur. The energy on its body quickly vanished, replaced by a blue light covering its head—Zen Headbutt!
