Slowly but steadily, my body adapted to circulate these random and uncontrolled streams of spiritual energy and became stronger in the process.
I repeated this process for all my power systems several times, and I felt that I was getting stronger and was on the verge of advancing to the Nascent Soul realm. However, every time I tried to advance, I felt like something was missing and stopped. This sensation came from the back of my head; I unconsciously felt that a link was missing, which was necessary for advancing.
Then it hit me: my soul cultivation. I still hadn't made much progress in my soul cultivation, and the Nascent Soul realm is all about cultivating your soul. Thinking this, I circulated the Abyss Soul Refining Technique and focused on cultivating my soul.
