After deducting 40% for team funds from the Five million Euros, which is Two million Euros, the remaining Three million Euros is the payout for this mission.
Everyone in Spark Team participated in this mission, and in terms of contribution, apart from Mercer and V who, as usual, hold the top positions on the contribution ranking, the third place was surprisingly taken by the seemingly unreliable Pira.
Pira not only participated in the creation and improvement of the drones but also assembled a set of multi-launch rockets using individual rocket launchers, and his sniper rifle was effective several times; his contribution was almost on par with V's.
Although the remaining members didn't make outstanding contributions, they all did what they were supposed to do.
So, after some consideration, Mercer decided to give Pira, V, and Mercer himself 50% of the share, which is roughly seventeen points each on average.
The remaining portion was divided among Qiwei, Lucy, the Mann couple, Sasha, and Rebecca.
This is definitely not a small amount; at least close to an income of over 200,000 Euros per person, enough for everyone to enjoy for quite a long time after this busy spell.
As for the previously deducted Two million Euros for team funds, this will be used to pay commissions, including those for the Adcardans, which is about 200,000 Euros.
Given that they provided manpower, equipment, and effort, Mercer felt this was reasonable, and the Adcardans who worked should each receive about 10,000 Euros, which is a significant sum for them.
Another portion will be used to make up for losses and operating the base.
For the next period, Mercer plans to keep a low profile, regularizing the base's income-generating businesses, as production investments and base utilities aren't cheap. Thus, Mercer hasn't planned for any extravagant purchases and intends to save.
After distributing the money, everyone excitedly went off to think about how to spend it, while Mercer waved his hand to stop Lucy.
He asked her to wait in a room for a moment, then found the medical kit Pan'an had placed there and headed upstairs.
She was daydreaming on the mattress. When Mercer walked in carrying the medical kit, she was momentarily stunned before saying, "I don't need..."
"I'll check first to see if you need it."
Mercer just gave her a look, sat in front of her, and without waiting for her to respond, reached for her right leg to inspect it.
He carefully touched her calf bone and knee through the Black Customer Service outfit: "Does it hurt?"
Lucy looked at his face, hesitated a moment, and nodded.
Mercer frowned as he continued to check the injured area by hand. Her ankle was predictably sprained, visibly swollen and red, but Mercer still asked her to bear the pain to confirm whether there was any fracture.
Even without professional equipment, Mercer, who had taken advanced medical courses online from Arasaka and biotech, quickly assessed her condition.
"You should go see Old Wei for further examination; at the very least, your ligament is injured. I suspect there might be a bone crack in some areas, but fortunately, there doesn't seem to be a ligament tear or fracture," Mercer diagnosed.
"Topical medications can only relieve the pain. The simplest way is to get a checkup and apply cyber limb repair if needed. In that case, you could recover in about three days with some medical spray."
In the Cyber World, the easiest injuries to deal with are external ones. No matter what gets damaged, the simplest fix is to replace the part. Synthetic materials are far more durable and reliable than the human body. As long as you don't buy from small companies or purchase second-hand, they can last a lifetime without issues.
"Oh..." Lucy softly responded, lightly brushing her short hair aside, watching as he placed her leg back down and sat cross-legged in front of her.
Mercer picked up the pain relief spray, rolled up her Black Customer Service pants, applied the medicine, and performed a simple emergency treatment.
Lucy merely blinked, allowing him to proceed, watching as he gently applied the medicine evenly.
After finishing, Mercer packed up the supplies, washed his hands, looked around, and then decided to catch up on some sleep here. Having been busy since early yesterday morning, he had only rested for about an hour earlier. Now that things were settled, he was indeed feeling a bit sleepy.
So, Mercer simply lay down on the mattress beside her: "I'm going to rest for a bit. You just sit here and rest obediently. I'll take you to Old Wei tomorrow."
"Mm." Lucy moved slightly to leave him some space, then rested her elbow on her knee, supporting her chin, turning to look at him.
Mercer, carefree as he was, collapsed and instantly fell into a deep sleep. Watching him lie quietly, Lucy also felt a bit drowsy. She carefully moved her leg and lay down beside him, closing her eyes.
Not knowing how long they slept, when Mercer opened his eyes, it was already dark outside the window. He turned his head and saw Lucy sound asleep, using his arm as a pillow.
Mercer carefully withdrew his numbed arm from under her. After standing up and shaking it out, he felt the blood begin to circulate again.
Seeing her sleeping soundly, Mercer didn't disturb her. He quietly tiptoed out of the room and downstairs, where he found V and Mann and others casually chatting in the living room.
He naturally joined them, and Qiwei handed him a cup of instant hot coffee. Without caring whose it was, Mercer took a sip and, after smiling and saying thank you to her, sat down and asked, "What are you guys talking about?"
"Just Mann's past," V casually replied, then jokingly added, "How was sleeping with Lucy?"
