# Chapter 216: You Suppress on Turn 1, I Finish You on Turn 3
On the opponent's field, a mechanical factory had just materialized when it was blasted into smithereens by a spear thrown from Zoodiac Drident. The factory's search effect also failed to activate.
At that moment, Yūga Hōzumi finally identified his opponent's deck—a Machine-type Union deck.
"What an annoying effect." The Obelisk Force warrior frowned as his Field Spell was destroyed by Drident. "In that case, I summon B-Buster Drake in Attack Position!"
"Next, I activate the Spell Card, Monster Gate! By tributing one monster on my field, I can flip cards from the top of my deck until I find a monster that can be Normal Summoned. I then Special Summon that monster and send the rest of the flipped cards to the Graveyard."
The small Machine dragon on the warrior's field instantly disintegrated, transforming into an electromagnetic gate.
Cards began flipping over from the top of his Duel Disk until the fifth one revealed a monster.
"Appear! A-Assault Core!"
"When B-Buster Drake is sent from the field to the Graveyard, its effect activates! I add one Union monster from my deck to my hand!"
"I add C-Crush Wyvern to my hand!"
"Next, I activate the Continuous Spell, Frontline Base!"
The effect of the Continuous Spell, Frontline Base, allows me to, once per turn, Special Summon one Level 4 or lower Union monster from my hand.
"Appear! C-Crush Wyvern!"
As another Machine-type Union monster descended onto the field, a card ejected from the Extra Deck of the Obelisk Force warrior's Duel Disk.
"This card can be Fusion Summoned directly from the Extra Deck, without a fusion spell, by banishing A-Assault Core, B-Buster Drake, and C-Crush Wyvern from my field and Graveyard!"
"Fusion Summon! Descend! ABC-Dragon Buster!"
The two monsters on the field combined with one that emerged from the Graveyard. With A-Assault Core as its base and B-Buster Drake and C-Crush Wyvern as its weapons, a colossal war machine slowly took form.

"I activate the effect of ABC-Dragon Buster! Once per turn, I can discard one card from my hand to target one card on the field and banish it!"
The Obelisk Force warrior waved his hand, and the massive mechanical tank took aim at Yūga Hōzumi's Lion Utopia Ray, firing a void annihilation cannon.
"I activate the effect of the equipped ZW - Pegasus Twin Saber! Once per turn, I can negate the effect of a monster activated on my opponent's field."
The white-winged longsword hovering behind Lion Utopia Ray flashed, unleashing a slash of sword energy that met the incoming annihilation blast and neutralized it.
"Damn it..." The Obelisk Force warrior gritted his teeth. "Then, I enter the Battle Phase! ABC-Dragon Buster, attack Zoodiac Drident!"
As he spoke, a high-energy beam shot from ABC-Dragon Buster's cannon. Since Zoodiac Drident was in Defense Position with no Xyz Materials and 0 DEF, it was defenseless. In an instant, it dissolved into a shimmering rune and vanished.
"I Set two cards and end my turn."
"At this moment, I activate a face-down card! The Quick-Play Spell, Twin Twisters!" During the End Phase, Yūga Hōzumi smirked and flipped one of his set cards.
"By discarding one card, I can target and destroy up to two Spell or Trap Cards on the field."
As the card flipped over, Yūga Hōzumi sent the last card in his hand to the Graveyard. Two twisters roared to life, pulverizing the two cards his opponent had just set.
"Sakuretsu Armor? You're actually running this?" Yūga Hōzumi said in amazement, looking at the fragments of one of the destroyed cards. It was clear that after Ryo Marufuji's special training, these guys were brimming with confidence. They even dared to stuff their decks with cards cursed by the world's will—cards that even Yūga Hōzumi, with his system, wouldn't touch.
The warrior whose cards were destroyed scowled. He gritted his teeth and said, "So what if you destroyed my defenses? Your hand is empty now! You'll only draw one card next turn. You can't possibly stop our attack."
"Is that so?" Yūga Hōzumi smiled noncommittally. "I don't think you'll last until my next turn. What do you say, Serena?"
As Yūga Hōzumi spoke, he stepped aside, giving the stage to Serena.
"That's right. This turn will be their last," Serena nodded, cracking her knuckles in anticipation.
"My turn! Draw!" Serena drew a card.
"The face-down card on the right is for you. Use it," Yūga Hōzumi reminded her from behind.
"I activate my face-down card, the Continuous Spell, Fire Formation - Tenki!" Heeding his advice, Serena flipped the card Yūga Hōzumi had left for her.
"When this card is activated, I can add one Beast-Warrior monster from my deck to my hand."
"I add Lunalight Yellow Marten to my hand!"
"I summon Lunalight Blue Cat in Attack Position!"
"When Lunalight Blue Cat is summoned, I activate its effect! Once per turn, I can send one 'Lunalight' card from my hand to the Graveyard to draw one card! I send Lunalight Yellow Marten to the Graveyard!"
"When Lunalight Yellow Marten is sent to the Graveyard by an effect, its own effect activates! I add one 'Lunalight' Spell or Trap Card from my deck to my hand."
"I add the Spell Card, Lunalight Fusion, to my hand!"
"I activate Lunalight Yellow Marten's effect in the Graveyard! By targeting one other 'Lunalight' card I control, I can return that card to my hand and Special Summon this card in Defense Position."
"I return Lunalight Blue Cat to my hand and revive Lunalight Yellow Marten!"
"I activate the Spell Card, Lunalight Fusion!"
"I can Fusion Summon one 'Lunalight' Fusion Monster from my Extra Deck by sending the required materials from my hand or field to the Graveyard. Since my opponent controls a monster Special Summoned from the Extra Deck, I can also use up to one 'Lunalight' monster from my deck or Extra Deck as fusion material."
"I fuse Lunalight Yellow Marten from my field, Lunalight Blue Cat from my hand, and Lunalight Panther Dancer from my Extra Deck!"
"Oh, graceful beast dancing upon the moonlit fields! Oh, yellow marten dancing under the gentle moonlight! Oh, chirping kingfisher! Swirl under the moon's gravity and be reborn as a new power! Fusion Summon! Come forth! King of beasts who dances at the apex of the moonlit fields! Lunalight Leo Dancer!"
A unique fusion vortex, formed from soft moonlight, slowly materialized in front of Serena. A moment later, the lioness maiden, dancing under the gentle moon, descended.
