I am the chief Examiner of the Imperial Academy and I am pleased to announce the beginning of the practical test for the Academy! " As he said this a massive gate opened behind the stage and started pulling in the candidates.
"Wh-What is happening. " Some people asked while try desperately to resist the pull.
"Relax this is how all the tests begin. The pull is to take us to the test site. " Some test veterans replied calmly while allowing themselves to be pulled in.
Izana looked at the gate then dropped resisting then he entered the gate. As he passed the gate his vision blurred for a second before clearing and he found himself on an island by the shore.
"Spatial Magic is so cool. " He whispered to himself. Izana looked up and saw a clock ticking down.

As the clock reached zero a loud horn was heard signifying the first test had begun.
"The first test is a battle royale survival test. Candidates must fight and survive for one hour. Also Killing is allowed the killed won't die because of the bell crest on your bodies. In this test there are ten thousand candidates participating in this test so begin. " A voice boomed. As it finished speaking it caused an uproar on the island and people started hunting others believing there is a special prize for the one with the most kills.

In a room located in an unknown location a group of people sat around a table and focused on a massive viewing cube floating on the table.
"I wonder why sir did not tell them that there is no prize for the most kills and they are just wasting their time. " A man spoke with a snake like tone as he looked at the old examiner that just spoke not long ago. (A/N: he is speaking in a very respectful way.)
"Let them believe what they want to believe, we do not need weaklings who can't defeat their opponents in our school. " A burly man spoke as he crossed his hands and relaxed on his chair.
"Sure but won't they voice their disapproval at the end of the test. " The man replied.
"Who gave them the right to complain. Mr Forceus didn't say they must kill only survive till the end. " A woman barked in a gruff tone.
Cling cling
Before the room heated up Forceus hit his walking stick twice on the floor to get them to keep quiet.
"Garam I understand what you mean but I didn't specify they need to kill each other. The smart people will understand and limit themselves to protecting themselves rather than actively going to kill others. This first test is not to test might but for brilliance. " Forceus spoke.
"As expected of Mr Forceus he is so brilliant. "
"Mr Forceus us so wise. "
"We need to start thinking like Mr Forceus. "
Everyone couldn't help but praise his ingenuity, even Garam was impressed.
"Now shall we watch this year's test. " Forceus said and turned to look at the screen where a battle was taking place.

Izana crouched on a cliff and watched rhe battle unfolding in the jungle. A team of ten ambushed another team of seven people and they have been able to hold out but they have been losing ground and losing teammates. Both teams had a lot of losses
Team A only had four alive left and team B only had three.
"Since the start of the test, numbers have been dropping. Hah. " Izana looked up to a player counter in the sky which showed the exact number of participants left.
"9015" That was the number of players left.
"Only twenty minutes have passed. I've already eliminated a few people. " Ten minutes ago a group of ten people thought that he was easy pickings. They surrounded him and told him to pay gold coins or they will kill him. Izana refused so they attacked him. The result a one sided massacre by Izana plus he was a thousand gold coins richer after extorting them to let them live before killing them.
Returning back to the present the battle that was raging on finally reached its climax. Both team A and team B had two members each and they fought savagely. They both jumped back then looked in his direction.
"Guess I have been spotted. " He stood up and revealed himself. Then jumped down the cliff using his mana to cushion his fall.
Both teams raised their guards and looked at him.
"I'm not trying to kill any of you, I was just watching the battle for entertainment. " Izana said as he looked around.
"Yeah right like we will believe you. You probably wanted one team to defeat the other then you will ambush us. " A girl from team A said and the others agreed.
Before Izana could talk another team came. "Freeze we got you all surrounded we have a team of twenty with us so drop all your loot and accept a peaceful death. "
In this Island people carry their belongings with them so if they die they will respawn with their loot in the massive hall but if the loot isn't on their body before they die then the loot won't go with them so players have been robbing others this way.
