"Master!"
Old Al's face lit up with relief as he saw Harry land on the flying skateboard. Harry hadn't been home in several days.
"Al…" Harry stepped off the glider, pale-faced and unsteady, nearly collapsing.
"Master!"
The smile vanished from Old Al's face as he rushed forward to support him.
"My shoulder's injured," Harry said weakly. "Just bandage it and let me rest. I'll deal with it when I wake up. Also, make arrangements for the Congressman."
After giving his instructions, Harry finally succumbed to the dizziness and passed out.
"Master…" Old Al whispered softly, then began doing exactly as he'd been told.
"Mr. Congressman, please rest in the living room for now. I'll prepare a room for you shortly," he said to Senator Kelly, who still looked shaken from the flight and the ordeal at sea.
"Ah—yes, yes, I understand," Kelly replied, trying to steady his trembling legs.
Old Al nodded, placed Harry's arm over his shoulder, and carried him into the house.
"How is Harhe okay? Take me to him!"
Felicia burst through the door, having rushed back from the company the moment she received Old Al's call. The words tumbled from her lips in panic.
"Miss Hardy, please don't worry," Old Al said calmly. "I've done everything the young master instructed before he lost consciousness." He gestured upstairs. "He's in his room."
"Alright… I'll go see him." Felicia took a deep breath and hurried up the staircase, her heels clicking sharply against the wood.
Click—
Felicia opened the door softly and stepped inside. The room was quiet, lit only by the faint glow of a bedside lamp.
"Harry…" she whispered, taking his hand gently. Her eyes shimmered with tears.
"No, I can't cry. Harry wouldn't want that," she murmured to herself, pressing her lips together as she wiped her eyes.
"You rest well. I'll be right here with you," Felicia whispered, clutching his hand tightly. She lowered her head to the bedside, resting it beside him, and soon drifted into sleep.
The deep night embraced the silent house. Everything slipped into stillness.
When Harry opened his eyes, he was greeted by bright morning light.
"Well… how many times has it been now? Ha."
He gave a weary smile. Since coming to this world, he'd woken up injured more times than he could count.
"Ugh… hiss—"
He tried to move his shoulder and immediately winced as pain flared beneath the skin. Though the surface wound had healed, the iron fragments embedded inside were still there.
"Huh?"
He tried to lift his hand, only to find it pinned down by something soft. Looking over, he saw a head of short chestnut hair.
"Felicia…" Harry exhaled quietly. She didn't respond—still sound asleep, clutching his hand tightly. He smiled faintly. She must have been here all night.
Not wanting to disturb her, Harry lay back down and spoke silently in his mind.
"Open the system screen."
Ding—
A transparent holographic display appeared before his eyes, invisible to anyone else.

"Good. That's enough."
Harry smiled faintly. "Acquire Erik Lehnsherr's ability to generate a magnetic field," he said silently.
Ding—
"Acquisition successful. Rethe maining points: 40."
The moment the message vanished, Harry felt an unfamiliar sensation ripple through him. Every metallic object nearby seemed suddenly alive—resonating with him, as though they shared a heartbeat.
He realized he could feel and command the flow of metal even more smoothly than the Invisible Woman's telekinetic fields. With a mere thought, he sensed that he could control metal particles down to the microscopic level.
A faint magnetic field radiated from his body, gently lifting every metallic object in the room. Outside, things buzzed and rattled faintly in response.
"Mmm…"
The subtle vibration stirred Felicia awake. Her lashes fluttered as she exhaled softly, her lips parting slightly in a sleepy sigh. She shifted against him, unaware of how disarmingly tender the motion looked.
Clatter—
The sound of falling objects startled her fully awake. Remembering where she was, she immediately looked to the bed.
"Harry! You're awake!" Felicia cried out, her eyes wide with joy as she grabbed his hand.
"Yeah," Harry said with a small smile, squeezing her fingers.
"You're finally awake… Are you okay? I was so worried…"
Felicia's voice trembled. Remembering his condition, she blinked rapidly, fighting back tears. Her hands shook slightly as she pulled them away.
"I'm fine. Really," Harry said softly, brushing aside a strand of her messy hair.
"Mm."
Felicia nodded, though her eyes reddened again.
"Help me sit up," Harry said, spreading his arms.
"Alright."
Felicia slipped an arm around his back and helped him sit upright.
"Thanks."
Harry carefully unwrapped the bandage on his shoulder, closed his eyes, and focused.
Within his magnetic perception, every fragment of metal embedded in his flesh lit up like tiny sparks. One by one, he located them all.
"Ahh—!"
The filings began to move, scraping through tissue as they exited. Blood seeped through the healing skin, and bits of metal slowly pushed out through his shoulder. Scarlet drops spattered the sheets.
"Harry!"
Felicia gasped, grabbing fresh gauze, but Harry gritted his teeth and stopped her.
"Wait—it'll be over soon," he said through clenched teeth. The short, sharp agony was better than the lingering ache.
With a faint hiss, the last fragment slid free. Blood followed, but Harry's strong physique quickly stabilized. Taking the gauze from Felicia, he pressed it to the wound himself.
"Just wrap it up. I'll heal completely in no time," Harry assured her. His face was pale, but his voice steady.
Felicia worked quickly, her hands sure and practiced. She tied a neat, secure knot that could be undone easily if needed.
"Nicely done" Harry said with a grin. He stood slowly, testing his arm. It still hurt, but the deep pain was gone.
"I've had a lot of practice," Felicia said softly, her tone calm—almost detached.
Harry's smile faded. Though her voice was steady, he could feel the quiet sadness beneath her words.
"Then from now on," he said gently, stepping forward and wrapping her in his arms, "use those skills only on me. That way, they won't be wasted."
Felicia stiffened slightly, then relaxed into his embrace. Pressed against his chest, she closed her eyes, silently soaking in his warmth.
