"Rowan, why are they running?"
Little Klee cutely raised one finger to her lips, watching the two people who were getting farther and farther away, completely not treating the Stonehide Lawachurl behind them as a threat at all.
And you really couldn't blame Klee for acting like this.
Because for her, there's basically nothing in all of Mondstadt that she wouldn't dare to blow up.
Forget a Stonehide Lawachurl—she's even blown up the Anemo Hypostasis way out at Stormbearer Mountains before.
Since it only moves within a fixed area, Klee tested its attack range first, then set up a Jūmen Maimai (Ten-Sided Ambush) around it—surrounding the entire altar with a ridiculous amount of explosives.
With a little bait, a spark, and—boom!—the Anemo Hypostasis was reduced to the purest elemental energy, dissipating into the air.
That incident alarmed every single person in the Knights of Favonius.
But the moment they saw Rowan and little Klee… everyone just silently turned around and went back.
The King was playing with a kid, after all.
Jean only gave Klee a stern look, warning her not to mess around.
Otherwise, with Klee's personality, she'd definitely go looking for more monsters to blow up again.
Still, what was strange was that even though Klee used enough explosives to permanently alter the terrain around Stormbearer Mountains, she still couldn't destroy the altar the Anemo Hypostasis stayed on.
It was like that thing was protected by Teyvat's rules—impossible to destroy no matter what.
Rowan had been tempted to try too, but in the end he gave up.
There was no need. If it really had something to do with Teyvat's rules, and he actually split it apart… who knew what kind of consequences that would cause?
At the end of the day, Rowan still liked staying on Teyvat.
No need to turn the place into chaos just because of a moment of curiosity.
Back to the point—Rowan shrugged.
"No idea. They probably can't win."
"They can't even beat that?" Klee blinked, shocked. "But Traveler has wandered the starry sea, right? She can't even beat a big hilichurl?"
Klee had played with Lumine lots of times. Lumine always made a huge fuss, worried she'd get caught in the blast from Klee's bombs.
But she was a really good person.
As for why Klee herself wasn't worried… that was simple.
She'd never gotten blown up by her own bombs. Not once.
That's the value of the Four-Leaf Clover constellation.
A four-leaf clover means luck—Klee was basically the "favorite child" of Teyvat. How could she ever get hurt by her own explosives?
The exact opposite of that was Mondstadt's biggest unlucky person: the six-star "Pyro Archon," Bennett.
He was truly the unluckiest guy in Mondstadt—standing still, he could still get hit by a rock from who-knows-where.
And his adventure team would forever only have one member.
Because anyone who went adventuring with him would become unlucky too.
Not finding good loot was one thing, but as long as you took missions with him, you were basically guaranteed to get wrecked by all kinds of nonsense—attacked by monsters, crushed by mechanisms…
And that was still not the worst part. Anyone who became an adventurer already had the resolve to face danger.
But Bennett's bad luck didn't stop at monsters and traps.
It even infected treasure.
Adventurers lived off field commissions and treasure chests. After fighting through hell to defeat the final boss and finally getting the chest… they'd open it and find nothing but cabbages.
Who could endure that? And it was all because Bennett was there.
That was why all the adventurers in Mondstadt kept their distance from him.
No exceptions.
So the "Benny's Adventure Team" only ever had Bennett alone.
Bennett's only real friend was Razor, the wolf boy.
Even Razor would get infected by Bennett's luck—more than once, he'd nearly ended up crippled.
So if you wanted to neutralize Bennett's bad luck, you needed Klee.
As long as the two of them were together, Bennett's luck would get balanced out into something normal—and Klee would be the same.
So for the sake of his life, whenever Razor occasionally went adventuring with Bennett, he'd call Klee along too.
Razor could be said to be Klee's only friend around her age.
"Klee, you wanna do it, or should I?" Rowan shrugged. He naturally knew what state Lumine was in right now, but there was no need to explain it to Klee.
…Besides, even if he explained it, she wouldn't understand. Kids only needed to be happy.
"I'll do it!"
Klee stepped confidently in front of Rowan. "I'm gonna show you my newest invention—my super-sized Boom-Boom Bomb!"
"Uh..."
Klee reached into her Dodoco Backpack and rummaged around for a while.
Then she awkwardly pulled her hand back out and looked up at Rowan pitifully.
"Rowan… Klee… Klee doesn't have any bombs left."
"Klee forgot… Klee came out to find bombs."
"You, seriously…" Rowan laughed at her expression. "I'll do it."
Honestly—how long had it even been? And she already forgot she'd used them all up.
With a thought, golden ripples spread behind him, and a massive cyan greatsword shot out.
It struck the Stonehide Lawachurl cleanly.
"GRAAAH~~~!"
The Stonehide Lawachurl roared in pain, but it was obvious that hit, while it injured it, didn't go very deep.
Its roar was still full of power.
And the cyan greatsword—Skyward Pride—was swatted aside in a single sweep.
It stopped chasing Paimon and Lumine, its red eyes locking onto Rowan instead.
Its aggro had clearly shifted.
Rowan shook his head helplessly. Sure enough, weapons from Teyvat were a bit too underwhelming.
If it weren't for the fact they were five-star weapons, he wouldn't even be interested in taking them in.
The weapon he'd just thrown was Skyward Pride.
Not only that—Rowan had already replicated the entire Skyward series and stored plenty of copies insideKing's Treasury.
All of it came from Venti, that guy trading them out just to get wine money.
He even brought out his own Elegy for the End for Rowan to project.
Absolutely shameless—anything for booze.
Without even looking at the Skyward Pride that had been knocked away, Rowan waved a hand—
And several more cyan weapons flew out from King's Treasury.
"GRAAAH——!"
