chapter 73 part 2
"Hey! You, student's parent, where are you going? The parent-teacher conference isn't over yet!"
Ren Arakawa pulled hard on the door, only to find that it wouldn't budge no matter how he pulled.
He raised his hand to look at his Reincarnation Watch. It indicated a countdown of forty-five minutes until the plot began.
Turning his head to look at the sleeping team members, Ren Arakawa breathed a sigh of relief.
There was no sign of Zhang Jie, Xiaoye Hui, or Yan Wei.
This meant that it was likely a situation similar to *Alien: Covenant*, where the team was scattered across different ships at the start.
He studied the faces of the few newcomers who were still asleep, did a quick count, and swallowed hard.
Including him, the number of sleeping newcomers reached a terrifying fifteen people!
Counting Zhang Jie, Xiaoye Hui, Yan Wei, and Da Qiang, that was nineteen people!
Ren Arakawa wouldn't believe that the Main God would be kind enough to give him one less team member.
The difficulty of *A Nightmare on Elm Street* this time had also reached the level of a 20-man raid!
"Could it be..."
"Another Team Battle without any warning?!"
Just as Ren Arakawa thought of this, one of the newcomers, a middle-aged man in a white-collar shirt, finally opened his eyes!
The white-collar worker looked around, his expression dazed.
Seeing foreigners next to him, he anxiously questioned Ren Arakawa, who was sizing him up, in English: "Where is this place? Who are you?! What are you trying to do?"
Ren Arakawa frowned and didn't answer.
Seeing that the man in front of him didn't reply, the white-collar worker looked at the teacher on the podium who was talking nonstop, scratched his head, and seemed lost in thought.
After a while, the newcomers woke up one after another.
Ren Arakawa didn't waste time. He didn't want to spend all his precious time arguing with newcomers, only to have to kill the chicken to scare the monkey by taking out some hothead to establish dominance.
"Hey! Look at me! Look at me!" Ren Arakawa shouted, and the fourteen newcomers all turned their gazes to him.
Meanwhile, the teacher on the podium was banging on the lectern, but no one was paying him any attention.
The newcomers were more curious about what this Asian-faced man had to say.
Ren Arakawa cleared his throat. "First, I'm not responsible if you get scared to death."
"Second... I don't enjoy hearing the ladies' startled screams either."
"So..."
As he spoke, his tail-kagune and wing-kagune erupted from his body!
He had completely transformed into a humanoid monster!
Seeing a human actually sprout a tail and wings, everyone's hearts nearly leaped out of their throats!
"Ahhh!"
A white woman who was very close to Ren Arakawa began to scream uncontrollably. Ren Arakawa raised his hand and delivered a karate chop.
*Thwack!*
The foreign beauty fainted. The women and men in the classroom covered their mouths, trying their best not to make another sound.
Ren Arakawa nodded in satisfaction and retracted his kagune.
The old white man on the podium seemed not to have seen any of this and continued to scribble on the blackboard, muttering and cursing.
"Let me introduce myself. My name is Ren Arakawa, and I'm a veteran of this Team."
"Congratulations. After you unknowingly clicked 'yes', you were 'luckily' brought here to experience countless horror movies until you die."
"So... enough with the chatter. Anyone who has seen *A Nightmare on Elm Street*, raise your hand."
As soon as he finished speaking, the middle-aged, white-collar man who had woken up first raised his hand.
"Sir... I've seen it."
Ren Arakawa nodded in satisfaction. "OK, you are...? What's your name?"
The white-collar worker hesitated for a moment but still said, "Zheng Zha, sir."
"Oh! Give them a rough summary of the movie's plot. It doesn't have to be too detailed, mainly focus on Freddy's abilities, anything related to the dream world..."
"Wait a minute!?"
It suddenly dawned on Ren Arakawa.
"What did you say your name was!?"
