Hours before the gate
Yujun's POV
My hands are still shaking and I can't keep my scent under control.
My omega is upset at being pinned down by the female alpha who lacks self respect and only cares to cause trouble.
This is why being an omega is a curse.
Being a male one is double the curse.
And being a pregnant one…my hand drifts to my stomach.
I hate the way Sehwa's taunting has a strong effect on me.
I keep looking over my shoulder, knowing that that woman is somewhere plotting something.
"Are you okay?" Chan asks me, with his arms around my shoulder.
"Yes" I say even though I am sure I am anything but okay.
Chan keeps a scowl on his face as we walk around the store.
"I wish you hadn't run away from me" he says under his breath, and I look at him with a frown on my face.
"I wasn't running" I respond.
"Yujun" he calls my name in a tone I haven't heard from him before.
