The Cherif was still lifted in the air by the weird black substance, Brandon rushed by her side to check her pulse. But he panicked when he couldn't find one, since he knew though that when he was looking for his pulse at times, he couldn't find it. So that didn't quite mean that Loressa was dead yet, yet, just not now perhaps. He looked at the substance squeezing her, then back at his knife. Brandon always carried around a safe knife for protection just in case his gun wasn't working the way it should be. Although he would have done this earlier though if he could. But he couldn't, since the substance was wrapped too tight around her. The knife was too sharp, and there was a 99 percent probability that it would injure his beloved wife. He had been standing there Infront of Loressa for an hour now and still couldn't come up with an idea to free her. After all, it had been an ability that had trapped her, and it wouldn't be easy for man made products to overcome the vicious abilities. So, what he needed to do was call his good friend that had an ability. He refused to work for the corporation under Sargant Lee and the CEO Samuel Bontan. He decided to keep his ability a secret, that he could use in his day-to-day life. When he met Brandon, they became best friends and after 5 years of a strong friendship. His best friend was able to confess that he had an ability, he couldn't have the corporation coming after him because he might lose his ability. Brandon was the only one that he talked about his secret with, whenever Brandon needed help with an ability user he would call his best friend. But he hadn't contacted him in a while so it might be very awkward for Brandon to call him. Still though with the love in his heart for his wife, he picked up his phone and dialed his best friend's number. "ring" "ring" and with another "ring" there was a familiar deep voice on the phone, "Brandon? you haven't called me in God knows how long but what happened are you okay?" Brandon sighed getting himself ready to talk, "that little b*tch called Conner littelry hung my wife!" Now his best friend sounded panicked, "why didn't you tell me sooner this is much too lethal to be handled over the course of an hour!" Brandon froze and for a second, he didn't speak at all, "I never told you if I was waiting to look for solutions to save my wife let alone how long it took before I decided to call you." Brandon's voice was shaky, but cautious ready for any betrayal or misunderstanding. But none came, the voice on the phone was silent and no one answered back to Brandon. "ERIC! you, you were right an hour is too long please help me, PLEASE!" Still though there was no voice that came out of the phone, and the only thing left was Brandon's grief. The line closed.

"This is it people now I swear I didn't do anything to him!" but Conner's teammates were still circling him. "Listen guys Sam's coming today for something very important, and I believe it's only in a few minutes!" "Damn you think just because you're his right-hand man that you can do whatever the heck you want!" but that was an unfamiliar voice. Everyone turned around to find who this imposter was that had infiltrated their base. There stood behind them all a skinny figure with glasses on that had tape on the side lenses. But to their shock he was a boy, a skinny boy and the Sargant had recruited him? That didn't make much sense to any of them since he obviously looked like easy prey. "Guys I'm Adam, Adam Gary I didn't make the cut but I'm here because I need to help you guys." "Theres something big coming and everyone here combined can't handle it, it's Samuel Bontan." "He's not here for peace," Adam warned, everyone stared at him with literal shock. Who was he to tell them who was dangerous, of course they knew that Sam was coming. But this guy is making it seem like Sam was coming to bash their door open. Pull a sniper out and start shooting them all, although that didn't make sense since he had a strong ability. So, he would probably use that instead of a sniper gun. The overall idea to everyone though was that Adam was being way too dramatic. Especially when he knew nothing about their corporation and what they did, he was just a rejected recruit. Even lower than Reg who had made the cut, which somewhat gave Reg some pride, but not arrogance. He still knew where his place was, plus he wasn't the type of guy to make fun of you. More like the uplifting one that makes you want to be a better person.

Both Viena and Sam had just arrived outside an empty ally, Sam parked his luxury car to the side of the garbage can. 'Weird If I were rich and got a luxury car, I would never get it anywhere near this dump,' Viena mused. But her thoughts were quickly interrupted by Sam's screams. "Come on I decided to get you a little ability user first so you can kill them, it should be a quick spar and then you can come with me to my important spot!" Viena nodded from all the way across the ally to where Sam was standing, she saw him talking to someone and then shoved the guy in front of him to face Viena. "This is your little opponent finish him off quickly!" when Sam said this, he sounded slightly irritated, but Viena ignored it. 'Okay first Spar' Viena thought. The ability user released his attack first to make sure he won. Little did he know this wasn't any spar, Viena winning meant he died. But Sam had left out that part to convince him to go against Viena. He shot out a dark blue substance which caught Viena off guard because it was the same one the human figure shot out. Only this time the attack looked much smaller and weaker. The dark blue substance only traveled about 5 feet when it collapsed on the ground and turned into a sticky puddle. Viena smirked, but maybe she shouldn't have since she herself didn't have an ability let alone martial arts. 'If I was Lana and had training with the martial arts this guy would have been done ages ago,' Viena contemplated. She suddenly felt herself running across to her component. Which was half stupid and half genius, since she would be closer to him his attacks would be more affective. But she also had the advantage of being close to him to also perform lethal damage. At least that's what she hoped for, when she got close enough to him, she jumped right behind her component. She then proceeded to throw a kick at him; she jumped up in the air and kicked her legs out onto his back in lightning speed. He fell down hard even coughing out a little blood, Viena grinned seeing this would be easier than she thought. Viena jumped on top of him squishing his stomach in and making him cough up more blood. She stayed put on his back and kept jumping like her life depended on it. He started gaging and was losing his breath a lot quicker than Viena had anticipated. She then stopped for a second and then delivered one more jump. He was then knocked out, but he wasn't dead yet. So, Viena went onto the ground and ripped off his shirt and started choking him with it until she heard nor felt any more heartbeat. A message popped up
[First kill]
[ability: none]
[power level: none]
[INJECT BLOOD IN RIGHT NOW]
"Do you happen to have syringe?" Viena inquired. Sam nodded before handing her over his simple plastic syringe. It looked like it had barely survived War, but Viena ignored that and quickly proceeded to stick it into her components arm. When Viena thought there was enough blood, she took the syringe out and applied the blood into her body by also sticking it into her arm. Finally, when all the blood had been transferred into her body, she felt a weird sensation. She felt stronger, like metal was hardening in her veins but only made her more powerful not weaker. She was only feeling strong though because it was her first time having an ability, but the ability she had was weak. Another message popped up Infront of her
[Injection successful]
[ability: Sticky String]
[power level: 1(weak)]
