Alex Rivers revealed surprising news to Tony and Banner: "Oh, and there are many HYDRA members within S.H.I.E.L.D., Tony. I'll send you a list. You can consider going undercover with HYDRA again, serving as double agents for our team."
"What? HYDRA?"
The two were astonished. Wasn't HYDRA completely wiped out during World War II?
"Skynet, send the HYDRA personnel information I asked you to investigate earlier to Tony," Alex commanded internally.
"Received, Master. HYDRA personnel information has been sent to Tony's artificial intelligence, Jarvis."
"Tony, some information has already been sent to Jarvis. You can ask it yourself later."
"Uh... okay," Tony responded instinctively, still reeling from the shocking news.
Just then, Banner's stomach rumbled.
Clearly, Banner had been entirely focused on escaping and fighting earlier, and now his stomach was completely empty, growling with hunger.
Banner looked a bit embarrassed.
"Jarvis, tell someone to send more food over," Tony commanded, having recovered his composure.
He thought, he definitely needed to get to the bottom of this HYDRA situation within S.H.I.E.L.D. later.
"This unreliable system just upgrades without a word and doesn't respond no matter how I call it. Thankfully, the system store is still usable," Alex grumbled internally about the system.
"But on the system store homepage, what does 'system Optimized Chicken Soup' mean? Why does it cost 300 reputation points? It's so much more expensive than other foods. There won't be a problem, right...?"
"Banner, no need to wait. I have chicken soup here. Just make do with this for now," Alex said with a smile, extending her hand. A large bowl of chicken soup appeared out of thin air in her hand, which she placed on the table.
Tony and Banner exchanged glances, suppressing their curiosity.
"Banner, this chicken soup smells really good. Drink it! Superwoman wouldn't poison you," Tony joked.
Banner picked up the chicken soup and quickly ate and drank, soon exclaiming, "It's truly delicious! I've never tasted anything this good. Things from a goddess are indeed superior."
Alex then purchased a cheeseburger from the system store for Tony and bought many other foods and drinks, beginning to enjoy the meal with the two.
It had to be said, the food from the system store was all very delicious.
"Miss Rivers, this cheeseburger of yours is too delicious... Can I order some monthly, no! ...daily? The price is negotiable," Tony said, his words a bit muffled as he devoured the food.
...S.H.I.E.L.D.
Inside the S.H.I.E.L.D. office, Nick Fury was sitting at his desk, reviewing a report on a new project. Suddenly, his communicator rang, breaking the silence of the office.
"Director, we monitored Superwoman and Dr. Banner. They just went to Tony's residence," a subordinate agent reported to him via the communicator.
"Okay, I know. You don't need to report such minor matters in the future. Continue to closely monitor their movements. If there's any abnormality, report it to me immediately."
"But Director, Superwoman is flying towards us now, and she's bringing someone with her."
"What?" Nick Fury immediately stood up, preparing to go out and greet them.
But just as Nick Fury finished speaking, Alex Rivers had already landed on the S.H.I.E.L.D. rooftop with Banner.
Alex used her x-ray vision to scan her surroundings, directly locating Nick Fury's position.
The window happened to be open, so Alex flew in through the window with Banner, landing steadily with him in front of Nick Fury.
"Director Nick Fury, do you want talent or not? I've brought him to you."
"Miss Rivers," Nick Fury said with a hint of displeasure, "S.H.I.E.L.D. is not your free-roaming area. You should have notified me in advance before coming."
This Superwoman always called him "Director Nick Fury" in public, and the key was her strong combat power. He could never control her, it was so annoying!
Also, there were confidential documents on his office desk. She had x-ray vision, so what if some secrets from the documents on the desk were leaked?
Alex blinked, a slight smile playing on her lips: "Oh, it wasn't intentional. I was just in a hurry to bring Dr. Banner over! So S.H.I.E.L.D. could gain another talent."
Alex noticed the scattered documents on the desk, but she was too lazy to activate her x-ray vision. S.H.I.E.L.D. had already become a 'Snake S.H.I.E.L.D.', and the artificial intelligence Skynet had already infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D., so there were no secrets she didn't know.
Nick Fury was very helpless, then looked at Banner and said, "Welcome, Dr. Banner. Are you willing to join S.H.I.E.L.D.?"
Banner nodded: "Yes, I've always wanted to. If my personal safety can be guaranteed, my identity issues resolved, and I can be paid, I will work wholeheartedly for S.H.I.E.L.D."
Nick Fury nodded: "Of course, we will provide you with a safe working environment so you can fully dedicate yourself to research."
"Since things are settled, I'll be leaving now!" Alex shrugged, turned, and flew into the sky, departing.
Nick Fury breathed a sigh of relief and began discussing work arrangements with Banner.
Banner silently remembered his undercover identity. He actually didn't have a very good impression of organizations like the US Military and S.H.I.E.L.D.
Nick was originally racking his brain trying to figure out how to get Banner into S.H.I.E.L.D., but he didn't expect Alex to directly introduce Banner to him.
The Avengers he had just started building desperately needed strong combat power. If he could properly control the Hulk after Banner transformed, it would greatly enhance their combat power.
After Nick finished talking with Banner and Banner left, he called Natasha.
"Natasha, how is your progress in contacting Superwoman Alex Rivers?"
"She's a scoundrel. When she stayed at my house for a few days, she was very affectionate with me, but once she got familiar with the environment here and mastered her superpowers, she moved out to live alone." Natasha's tone was full of resentment and dissatisfaction.
Alex's voice was so sweet that even she, a woman, couldn't help but like her.
Alex's charm was universally appealing; her female body was simply flawless.
"She flies so fast, appearing and disappearing like a shadow. I can't even see her, let alone contact her."
"Alright then, put aside the task of contacting her for now. Next, you go contact Tony. Find a way to stay by his side as a secretary."
"Okay, no problem."
Alex returned to her villa and watched their conversation on a large screen from home.
Since Skynet had already infiltrated S.H.I.E.L.D., there were no secrets for Alex within S.H.I.E.L.D. She heard Nick Fury and Natasha's conversation clearly.
"System, are you dead?" Alex called out to the system internally, but the system remained unresponsive.
