Before Tony and Justin could react, the robots on the stage suddenly raised their guns and aimed at the crowd. The airborne robots with flight capabilities ascended, shattering the glass ceiling of the exhibition stand and scattering in all directions.
"Get out of here, the robots are out of control!" Tony shouted.
The audience below screamed and scattered, fleeing the scene.
"Ah—!"
"Help!"
"Run!"
A wave of chaos erupted among the crowd.
The sudden loss of control of the robots startled everyone, who frantically searched for cover or fled. The scene instantly plunged into panic.
Tony tried to stop the robots and protect the public. But with his strength alone, he couldn't split his attention; he could only plan to use the Iron Man Suit he was wearing as a shield to block a barrage of attacks from the ground robots for the crowd.
In front of his computer, Ivan, who was remotely controlling the robots, smiled. He pressed a button and issued the attack command. He was eager to see Tony in a sorry state.
Justin Hammer fled in panic. He had repeatedly assured Congress that these robots would not go out of control. But now, they had completely broken free and turned into unstoppable killing machines.
"Master, the robots at the exhibition are about to go out of control," Skynet reminded, following Alex's previous instructions.
"Alright, Axe Gang, let's go!" Alex Rivers, who was lying on the sofa, got up and commanded. The large screen in front of her automatically turned off the movie it was playing.
Then, without wearing any device, Alex drew a circle in the air with her hand. As her finger moved, a golden circular portal appeared in the air, leading directly to the exhibition site.
In the center of the exhibition hall, a golden halo suddenly lit up, its light dazzling, and the chaotic crowd froze.
Upon closer inspection, it was a giant circular portal!
The portal emitted a brilliant golden glow, and its depths gradually brightened. Exclamations of surprise immediately arose from the crowd.
"What's going on?"
"Oh my god—!"
Everyone was stunned by the unknown portal before their eyes.
Just then, a neat sound of footsteps came from deep within the portal. Alex, with her long hair flowing and wearing a Superwoman suit, slowly revealed herself from the portal.
Immediately after, hundreds of tall, black-clad figures holding axes emerged from the portal, their steps uniform, their faces expressionless, exuding a chilling aura.
"Is that... Superwoman?!" Someone in the crowd exclaimed, their voice filled with shock and disbelief.
Alex stepped forward, followed by Faora and Terminator warriors, who had transformed their hands into axes, marching in neat steps through the portal.
When Tony saw the sudden appearance of the portal and Alex, he was first shocked by this unknown magic portal, but he didn't have time to think too much. He quickly felt that the situation had suddenly become favorable.
"Great! Superwoman is here, and so many helpers. Now the advantage is mine. These damned robots will be finished soon!" Tony said happily, his voice full of confidence.
"But why are all these black-clad people carrying axes? Is that really effective in combat?"
"Faora, we'll deal with the airborne robots. The ground ones are for the Axe Gang," Alex said, then her figure flickered, and she flew into the sky at a speed of Mach 670.
Only a golden-red streak of light was left in the sky. Faora looked up in the direction Alex had gone, her eyes full of adoration and admiration. When she spoke, her tone was fervent: "Yes, my Queen!"
After speaking, Faora also flew into the sky and joined the battle. Although her current flight speed was only Mach 18, she was happy as long as she could fight alongside her Queen. Kryptonian warrior genes inherently loved battle.
"Tony, I'm here to support you," Rhodes flew over in his white armor, seeing the chaotic situation on the ground, his heart full of questions.
"There are enough people now. You go see if anyone is injured and help them. I'll try to regain control," Tony said.
"Okay!" Rhodes responded, flying off to find innocent injured people.
At the same time, the Terminators with axes had already launched their ground offensive. They held their axes, each finding their target and rushing forward, cutting down robots one by one.
The sounds of metal clashing and circuit explosions rose and fell, and they quickly suppressed the ground robots' offensive.
When a robot was severely damaged and moved slowly, a Terminator would approach the incapacitated robot, axe in hand, dancing.
A Terminator danced gracefully towards a robot that was already paralyzed on the ground.
"You are terminated," a cold voice came from the Terminator's mouth.
Immediately, he took a step, his body made a big spin, and the axe drew a long arc, "Swish," cutting off the robot's head.
"Your arm is injured. Do you need me to take you to the hospital?" Rhodes asked a passerby with a wound on his arm, concerned.
"No, no, this small injury is fine. I don't want to leave now," the passerby said excitedly, "This is too exciting! Superwoman and Iron Man have both appeared, and those axe warriors are dancing and chopping robots. It's so interesting! I have to see it to the end!"
Rhodes was somewhat exasperated: "But the wound needs to be treated promptly. I'll still take you to the hospital after the battle ends."
"Come on, buddy, what's this little injury? It's just a scratch from explosion debris, no big deal," the person didn't appreciate it, "How can I miss such a once-in-a-lifetime scene! By the way, your armor is cool too, man!"
"It seems I'm not needed here." Rhodes shook his head helplessly, deciding to ignore this gawking passerby for now, and flew away.
The Terminators continued to dance with their axes, slaying robots one by one. The battlefield was filled with a bizarre yet magnificent atmosphere.
On the ground, most of the robots were dealt with by the Terminators.
The bolder onlookers gathered around to watch the battle, discussing excitedly, one after another...
The aerial battle ended even faster. Alex and Faora teamed up, using heat vision to shoot robots, the red beams accurately hitting the robots and causing them to explode, while also using super speed to weave through the robots in the sky. Any single blow could easily blow up a robot.
Red and blue light flickered in the sky, and the airborne robots were quickly wiped out.
After destroying the last one, Faora clearly hadn't had enough: "The Queen is too strong; I only took out less than ten percent."
"There will be plenty of opportunities in the future. Are you afraid of not having battles to fight if you follow me?" Alex laughed, watching the Axe Gang's performance on the ground.
In the system, reputation and points were constantly increasing.
"Ding, new world coordinates detected, currently being scanned..."
