Chapter 37 - The Eleventh Brave~Final

Half a year later, Handsome Boy had become king. His nation was named Aimebisalon, and his full name was Leon Aimebisalon. Loved by his people and Leon began the Fatelis Year 1.

All gangs within his kingdom had been eradicated. Seeing Leo's achievements, the other braves also set out to establish their own nations in different dungeons.

At Shy Girl's persistent request, Henry agreed to accompany her, also worried whether she could succeed.

6 month later, Shy Girl successfully established a country in the desert region, naming it Ashabisht, and her full name was Elara Ashabisht.

Within less than a year, ten great nations had emerged across the world, with economies steadily improving. However, the Dark Age had caused a regression in civilization, preventing a return to the Era of Prosperity; thus, this period became known as the Age of Equilibrium.

Knowing his mission was complete, Henry left a note for Elara that simply read: "I'm gone. Don't look for me."

Henry bore no romantic feelings toward Elara, yet he understood her thoughts and could think of no better solution.

With incredible speed, Henry departed from Ashabisht. To prevent Elara from finding him, he adopted a new identity and changed his name to Allen. He had spent a long time with Elara and knew she would surely search for him.

Allen intended to keep his promise to himself. He had once told the Braves that he would travel across the seas, and now he would explore every corner of the world, meet many people, and seek his own place in life.

Along the way, Allen encountered the Beastmen of the Plains of Fury, the Elves of the Misty Jungle, and the Dwarves of the Refining Peaks. He also discovered the location of the eleventh dungeon, which would appear after his death in the Merfolk territories of the Enchanted Sea.

Allen learned the Derived Elemantal Magic of the four elements from these races: Fire's derived elemental was Metal, Water's was Biology, Wind's was Lightning, and Earth's was Plant.

Allen recorded all the magic he had learned into book, knowing that these magics would be lost after his death.

Since the other braves likely knew of his disappearance, Allen unwilling to draw attention—he decided that only his descendants would inherit this magics.

Later, in a city within Asrangari, a country founded by Long-haired Boy, Allen encountered his destined lover. He came upon an adult woman being pursued and immediately saved her.

As he looked upon her, a current of electricity seemed to pass through him. Her face was delicate, her skin pale and flawless, her eyes dark and shining, her lips like cherries, and her short black hair framed her face beautifully. Everything about her stirred his heart. Allen fell in love at first sight.

Without revealing his feelings, Allen asked for her name. She introduced herself as Hysria, a name that made Allen's heart race even more, as if the world had grown more beautiful.

Allen asked why she was being pursued. Hysria explained that she had refused a proposal from a certain noble, who was an arrogant upstart abusing his power.

Upon hearing this, Allen could think of nothing else but a dark, impulsive thought: "If I can't have you, I'll kill you — I won't let anyone else have you."

After escorting Hysria home, her house suddenly exploded. Allen rushed in to rescue her, saving both her and her parents, using light magic to heal them. However, her parents had already been killed before the explosion and could not be saved. Hysria clutched their bodies and wept, while Allen felt deep guilt for being unable to protect her family.

A group of men in black soon surrounded Allen and Hiselia. Realizing they were targeting her, Allen fought them off and carried Hiselia to safety. As they fled, he repeatedly apologized for taking her away without a proper farewell to her parents. Hysria, however, remained silent and forgave him.

Allen then resolved to travel with Hysria. To facilitate their journey, he taught her Storage Magic and Body Enhancement Magic, confirming the existence of non-elemental magic. Hiselia's magic elements were Water and Wind, differing from Allen's. After, Hysria learned derived elemental magic as well.

However, Hysria's cooking was catastrophically bad, so Allen prepared every meal.

During their journey, Allen and Hiselia met many races, including Dragons.

Allen and Hysria, their relationship deepened until they became a couple. Not long after, Hiselia became pregnant, and they settled on an open field in Aimebisalon.

Using knowledge from the Era of Prosperity, Allen farmed and raised livestock, living self-sufficiently, though he still traveled to town for necessities.

Allen, Hysria, and their unborn child lived happily.

By the Fatelis Year 9, the Demon King appeared, coinciding with the presence of a sanctuary in Aimebisalon dedicated to Fatelis, Goddess of Fate.

Soon after, news spread of a new generation of Brave and the appearance of a Saintess, a being capable only of Light Magic and lacking mastery over the four elemental magics, said to be favored by the Goddess.

In the Fatelis Year 10, the Brave, the Saintess, and several companions set out to defeat the Demon King.

Due to the threat, residents near the Demon King's domain relocated to other countries, some eventually arriving at Allen and Hysria's home. Hiselia proposed allowing them to build houses and settle there, and everyone agreed.

As more and more people settled there, a village gradually formed. Because everyone recognized Allen's knowledge, they suggested that he become the village chief.

Allen accepted their expectations and became the village chief. When deciding on the village's name, he noticed the oil palm trees nearby, which had only recently revealed their usefulness. He thus named the village Savapadi Village.

From then on, Allen lived happily ever after. End.

"When I saw the name of the country, I vaguely guessed what it might be… I never expected it to be true."

"Karen, it seems there's more."

"Let me see…"

Those casual words made me pause. In the corner of my vision, I thought I saw a pair of legs moving in the water.

I turned and saw Lina wearing a straw hat.

"Lina, when did you get here?"

Lina's arrival meant it was lunchtime.

"When I saw Hysria appear."

"That was quite a while ago. The food has gone cold. Why didn't you call me?"

Histria had appeared long ago.

"I did call you. I called many times, but you didn't respond, so I just sat down and looked at the book in your hands. You were so engrossed."

Was I really that engrossed? That doesn't sound like me. But everything in the book was true, and there was no need to hide it from Lina anymore.

"Really? I'm sorry. I was just very interested because it recorded the true history of the Ten Braves founding their countries."

"Alright, hurry and turn the page."

"Okay."

Lina impatiently urged me to flip to the next page. I did, and began reading aloud the words written there.

"To you who see this page: the books of Ancient Magic, Non-Elemental Magic, and Derived Elemental Magic are placed on the bottom shelf. I hope you will use this magics for good. – Author, Henry/Allen."

"Ancient Magic… Non-Elemental Magic… Derived Elemental Magic…"

Lina murmured the words under her breath, but I didn't respond. I closed the book, took a deep breath, and shouted in my heart.

(He's actually writing his own story in third person!)

Afterwards, we returned home. Sure enough, the food had gone cold.
