The frightened cat braced for a battle, but Salome simply sat on the ground and motioned for Awilix to do the same.
"Uh, succubitch? I thought you wanted to fight?"
When all Awilix received was an awkward silence, she reluctantly copied Salome.
The two sat in lotus-like positions across from each other.
Salome smiled, then recited the description Vale had told her, since Awilix probably didn't know how to read her soul scripture, or cared not to repeat it verbatim.
